• The Key to Iraq is Kurdistan.President Obama announced Monday that American troops in Iraq will be reduced from 144,000 to 50,000 by the end of this month and that a complete withdrawal will occur by the end of 2011. It still is not clear how the United States will grapple with the Iraqi democracy’s significant instability.Iraq’s democracy has been controversial from the beginning. However, between the war in Afghanistan and the upcoming midterms we may overlook a critical issue in the quest for a lasting, peaceful Iraq. That critical issue is Kurdistan.

• Mischief in Manhattan.We Muslims know the Ground Zero mosque is meant to be a deliberate provocation.If Rauf is serious about building bridges, then he could have dedicated space in this so-called community centre to a church and synagogue, but he did not. We passed on this message to him through a mutual Saudi friend, but received no answer. He could have proposed a memorial to the 9/11 dead with a denouncement of the doctrine of armed jihad, but he chose not to.

• Hard-line Islamic Groups Again Attack Praying Christians.Indonesia. In the latest attack by extremists on religious minorities in West Java, 300 Islamic hard-liners intimidated, bullied and assaulted a priest and 20 Christian churchgoers praying in a field in Bekasi on Sunday morning.

• Indonesian cleric Abu Bakar Ba’asyir in terror arrest.The radical Muslim cleric, Abu Bakar Ba'asyir, has been arrested on terror charges in Indonesia.Officials say he helped set up and fund an Islamic militant training camp in Aceh, uncovered by police in February.The militant group - Jemaah Ansharut Tauhid - has been linked with alleged plans to kill Indonesia's president.

• Frenchman in polygamy scandal charged for rape.A Muslim Frenchman cited by officials as a reason behind a crackdown on polygamy has been charged with aggravated rape, the state prosecutor said Sunday.Xavier Ronsin said Lies Hebbadj, who lives in the Nantes region of western France, was charged with aggravated rape based on a complaint from a former companion.

A national movement has developed protesting the construction of this Islamic Center and Mosque, which more accurately should be named “The Islamist Victory Center”.

• Whipped and then shot dead: Taliban execute Afghan widow accused of adultery.Taliban militants have publicly executed an Afghan woman for alleged adultery, it emerged today.The victim, a 48-year-old widow, was given dozens of lashes before being shot dead on Sunday in the remote Qades district. Her alleged lover managed to escape.'It happened before the public ... despite that no one has complained, the government will take its own measures about the incident,' a government official said.Why first whip somebody you're planning to shoot?Except for a bunch of sick sadistic individuals it makes no sense!

• Things are getting really bad for President Obama and his WINO when they are always on vacation.We have noticed that President Obama treats his wife like a flower pot rather than a mate with a brain.
