ISIS 'Foreign Minister': We declares war on Russia.
ISIS 'Foreign Minister': We declares war on Russia.(AWD).
Abu-Walid al-Kuwaiti, the self-proclaimed ISIS’ foreign Minster wrote in his twitter account that from now on, a state of war exists between the Islamic State in Iraq and Syria (ISIS) and the Russian federation.
“I ask Allah almighty in his infinite mercy and benevolence to bestow his grace upon Mujahedeen, unite their ranks so the army of [Islam] can proceed toward Russia to liberate a very precious occupied Islamic territory which is Chechnya,” Iraqi news websites quote al-Kuwaiti as saying on Monday.
Al-Kuwaiti further noted to the strong relation between the Syrian government and Moscow and reasoned that Moscow’s close ties with Syrian government plagued all Middle-East in endless war.
When more than two month ago, Abu Bakr al-Baghdadi emerged from the shadows of the Middle East to run ISIS, he vowed to ‘liberate’ all Islamic territories conquered by enemies including Chechnya which is under infidel Russians’ occupation.
“We shall raise the sacred black flag of Islam over Kremlin Palace and under the aegis of our great and valiant we will break the chains of Russian oppression which brought our Muslim Chechen brothers and sisters into excruciating pain for many years,” added Abu-Walid al-Kuwaiti, threating Russian government to end its help for Damascus and Baghdad.
Al-Kuwaiti made these comments as Russian religious leaders called on Chechen Muslims not to travel to Syria and Iraq, amid fears of jihadis fleeing the country to take part in Saudi-backed terrorism. Read the full story here.
