Qatar needs to stop 'playing a double game and' funding Islamists: Dennis Ross.
Qatar needs to stop 'playing a double game and' funding Islamists: Dennis Ross. (usatoday).
President Trump is looking anew at American allies and partners. While saying he will preserve these relationships, he wants them to pay their fair share and uphold their side of the relationship. Whether it is South Korea or Saudi Arabia, they are subject to his calls for them to contribute more and defray our costs in deploying forces to defend them. Burden-sharing is not a new concept, but he is placing a premium on it.
It is an important measure, and it should be given greater weight, but it must also be kept in perspective. Consider that one country that would do well on this measure is Qatar. Qatar permitted us to build and operate a massive air base, al-Udeid, and has helped meet the costs of operation. From al-Udeid, the U.S. conducts all coalition air operations for the entire region — from Afghanistan to Syria. It is a critical base for protecting our national security interests in the Middle East, and viewed from this perspective alone, one might judge Qatar to be an American ally.
However, allies at a minimum share our interests, support our basic policies, and see common enemies. They don’t give support, especially material support, to those who threaten our interests and the interests and well-being of our friends and partners. By this measure, Qatar is most definitely not an ally. Few countries have done more to promote the Muslim Brotherhood, including its Palestinian offshoot Hamas, than Qatar.
The mindset and beliefs of the Brotherhood-affiliated preacher, Yusuf al-Qaradawi, who resides in Qatar and conveys his views on a weekly show on the network Al Jazeera. Qaradawi, who is anti-American and considers all attacks against Israeli civilians to be legitimate, is especially pernicious because his weekly guidance on how to live as a good Muslim has produced a large following in the region. Qatar can only have it both ways so long as we permit it.Read the full story here.

Saxony security Chief warns: "'Muslim Brotherhood expands presence in Germany, seeks to establish Sharia law".
Saxony security Chief warns: "'Muslim Brotherhood expands presence in Germany, seeks to establish Sharia law". (RT).
Islamic radicals from the Muslim Brotherhood are actively trying to gain a "monopoly" over mosques in the eastern German state of Saxony to attract more followers and increase their influence, the local security service chief has warned.
The members of the radical Salafist organization, the Muslim Brotherhood, which was established in Egypt in 1928, “have long been active in Saxony, although they were stealthy,” Gordian Meyer-Plath, the president of the regional department of the German domestic security and anti-terrorist service, the BfV, told Germany’s MDR broadcaster.
Meyer-Plath warned, however, that “only now, when a [large] number of Muslims have come to Germany, do they see a chance to expand their network beyond some central structures and become interesting for the new Muslims in Saxony.”
While downplaying the threat posed by the Muslim Brotherhood in Germany as being “beyond Jihad,” meaning that the group is not actively involved in terrorist attacks, the security official pointed to the threat it poses to democratic society.
“The Muslim Brothers still want to establish Sharia law in Germany,” which would have grave consequences for religious freedom, women’s rights and democratic values, Meyer-Plath said.
The group is active in about 70 countries, where it builds mosques, schools and hospitals, presents itself as a democratic force and officially distances itself from an idea of the global Jihad in an attempt to win the sympathies of locals.
In Saxony, the Salafist group has been actively sponsoring the construction of new mosques. It has already built several mosques and plans construction of more places of worship in such cities as Dresden, Leipzig, Meissen, Riesa, Pirna, Bautzen und Goerlitz.
Meyer-Plath drew attention to the fact that, while western Germany has numerous Muslim associations that offer their services to newly arrived Muslims, the eastern part of the country lacks them. The Muslim Brotherhood “is trying to break into this vacuum and secure a monopolistic position,” he said, adding that the opportunity to spread the group’s influence came with the ongoing refugee and migrant influx from Muslim-majority countries.
“Offering prayers is a religious duty for Muslims. And when there are no [other] mosques in the region, they go to those that exist there,” Meyer-Plath explained, adding that “it is needless to say that it is a bad situation when the only Muslim structures in the area are controlled by Islamists and political extremists.”
The security official believes that the group has vast financial reserves as it does not lack money for sponsoring new construction projects or just buying real estate.
“They are going through the land with a fantastic sum of money and are just buying real property” to turn it into mosques, Meyer-Plath said, adding that the local Muslims often appreciate their efforts. Read the full story here.

'Saudi Arabia Deviated from True Islam, Acting against Islamic Teachings': spokeswoman of the Muslim Association of Greece. (IFPnews).
According to a report by IRNA, as translated by IFP, Anna Stamou,(Stamou says she was born an Orthodox Christian but "found the answers to her questions" in Islam ) the press officer and spokeswoman of the Muslim Association of Greece, said on Wednesday, November 2, that Saudi rulers have moved away from Islam since a long time ago, and are acting against the teachings of Islam.
She referred to the ban imposed by Al Saud regime on women’s driving, and said such a ban is only exercised by Saudi Arabia, and no Muslim country has prohibited its women from driving.
“I don’t know based on which Islamic teaching they prevent women from driving,” she added.
“Another case of Saudi rulers’ deviation from Islamic teachings is that Muslim women are not allowed to benefit from their legal inheritance, while in Islam women should also receive inheritance.”*
“Freedom of speech and thought are among the teachings of Islam, but people in Saudi Arabia are deprived of the right to express their views. Saudi citizens are not allowed to play a role in their destiny,” she added.
She further pointed to the West’s efforts to spread Islamophobia, and said that Saudi rulers are adding fuel to such efforts by depriving their citizens of their basic rights, while Islam is the religion of peace and peaceful coexistence of followers of all religions.
“Islam has always encouraged its followers to having peaceful coexistence with other human beings, and has introduced religious minorities in Islamic countries as the integrated part of Muslim countries’ citizens with equal rights,” Stamou noted.
Hmmm......Islamic laws concerning female inheritance.......
* As usual the truth is a completely different story:
1. She is a hardcore Muslim brotherhood groupie.
2. She is deceitful on what the Koran teaches.
Allah, the Exalted, stated in the Glorious Qur'an:
(Allah commands you as regards to your children's (inheritance); to the male, a portion equal to that of two females.)
[4:11]
To begin with, Allah has determined all the shares of all the relatives in respect to their relationship to the deceased. As He the Most Wise said:
(There is a share for men and a share for women from
what is left by parents and those nearest related, whether the property
is small or large, an obligatory share.)
[4:7]
- A woman will have an equal share as that of the man.
- A woman will have an equal share to that of the man, or a little less.
- A woman will have half the share of a man.
This means that the minimum of her shares is half, and considering that a female has no continual financial responsibilities as a child, sister, wife or mother, and these responsibilities are always on the men of the family, this is very generous indeed.

Parents Of Slain US Army Captain, Khizr Khan and his wife Ghazala Appear At US Muslim Brotherhood Convention.
Parents Of Slain US Army Captain, Khizr Khan and his wife Ghazala Appear At US Muslim Brotherhood Convention. HT: GlobalMBWatch.
Local media is reporting that Khizr Khan
and his wife Ghazala, the parents of slain US Army Captain Humayun
Khan, have appeared on stage at the 2016 national conference of
the Islamic Society of North America (ISNA). According to a Chicago
Tribune report:
September 3, 2015 The couple who lost a son in the Iraq War and were attacked by Donald Trump after their appearance at the Democratic National Convention this summer on Saturday thanked those at a national Islamic convention for their support but warned the ‘assault’ on the Muslim community won’t end with the November election.
Khizr Khan and his wife, Ghazala, whose son, Capt. Humayan Khan, was killed in 2004 in Iraq, spoke to the annual Islamic Society of North America convention in Rosemont on Saturday afternoon.
Khan praised Muslim leaders for being a voice for the community and also thanked the scholars and mentors in his life.‘The burden of the scholar has gotten heavier because of the assault,’ Khizr Khan said. ‘Some people believe that this assault may be over, assault on my community and assault on my religion, will be over in November. Do not be mistaken. This assault is far beyond elections.’
Linda Sarsour, executive director of the Arab American Association of New York, introduced the couple.
Calling the Khans ‘remarkable human beings,’ Sarsour said that Khizr Khan was ‘Unapologetically Muslim’ and that ‘we as American Muslims know exactly what the U.S. Constitution says, and we expect those who are going to be the leaders of the United States of America to abide by that Constitution.’
Khizr Khan, the father of a soldier killed in Iraq, speaks at the Democratic National Convention. Sarsour also praised Ghazala Khan’s silence during the Democratic convention, something Trump raised questions about, saying that the Republican presidential candidate was blind to ‘the power, the grace of Ghazala Khan.’
‘We do not have to scream, we do not have to speak for people to know that we as Muslim women are powerful women, that we are the foundations of our communities and our institutions, and it is because of us that our communities thrive,’ Sarsour said.
Ghazala Khan spoke first, thanking everyone for the love and respect they have received.‘I’m so grateful for all of you and all of America and all of the world,’ Ghazala Khan said. ‘I feel so close to you guys. … I have given one son and got this many back.’
Local media reported that the Khans were introduced by US Secretary of Homeland Security Jeh Johnson who also spoke at the conference. A Washington Post report described Johnson as the first sitting Cabinet secretary and the highest-ranking U.S. official to address an ISNA conference. Austrian Gov Study Finds Muslim Brotherhood Links To kindergartens In Austria.
Austrian Gov Study Finds Muslim Brotherhood Links To kindergartens In Austria. (TheLocal).
A state-funded study into Islamic kindergartens in Vienna suggests that Islamist groups such as the Muslim Brotherhood and its Turkish counterpart Milli Gorus have links to some of the capital's preschools.
Austria’s Integration Minister Sebastian Kurz (ÖVP) wants to introduce tighter controls on Islamic kindergartens to prevent radicalization and said he believed the study was necessary because there is a danger of “parallel societies emerging”.
The author of the study, Ednan Aslan, is a professor at the Institute of Islamic Studies at Vienna University. He found that the religious education preached by several of the capital's 150 Muslim establishments led to "theologically-motivated isolation" and robbed children of their autonomy through "intimidation".
"Intellectual Salafists and political Islamists are the dominant groups in the Islamic kindergarten scene in Vienna," the study concluded.
He told the Standard newspaper that it was not acceptable that a representative of the Muslim Brotherhood, who runs a kindergarten in Vienna, should openly support the war in Syria or appear in a video in which he states that "we want to evangelize in Europe".
Many of the private Islamic preschools are subsidized by the City of Vienna - to the tune of €30 million - according to a report in the Krone newspaper.
Aslan said that the majority of the Islamic kindergartens were unwilling to participate in his study and that some took down their websites to make some data inaccessible. Only 71 out of 150 Islamic kindergartens agreed to be part of the study.
The Krone quotes one integration expert who contributed to Aslan’s report as saying that it is as easy to open an Islamic kindergarten in Vienna as it is “to open a kebab shop”.
The FPÖ deputy mayor of Vienna, Johann Gudenus, has said that he wants to hold a special parliamentary session on the subject of Islamic kindergartens and a motion of no confidence against the head of the education board, Sonja Wehsely (SPÖ).
Gudenus added all kindergartens in the capital should be run by the City of Vienna, and not by private individuals or groups. Hmmmm......ALL Islamist roads lead to Turkey and the EU wants to give them free entrance in to Europe. Read the full story here.

There's now an Islamic Party of Canada: "We hope to dismantle the ruling corporate elite in Canada, restructure the economy"
There's now an Islamic Party of Canada: "We hope to dismantle the ruling corporate elite in Canada, restructure the economy" HT: Scaramouchee.
What's the point of the outfit? Would you surprised to learn that it's nothing less that a complete overhaul of Canada and its economy based on the sharia way of doing things?
The purpose of the Islamic Party of Canada is to encourage an political, economic, social, and educational reform, and an exponential increase in knowledge. The last time such a thing has been observed was the Islamic world's renaissance (900-1200 years ago) that produced the best scholars of the time, Muslim and non-Muslim, in all disciplines. Politically, we use this knowledge approach (see "Philosophy") and apply it to contemporary issues such as education, economics, health, and social wellbeing Several examples of which have been published or are in the process publication.
We hope to dismantle the ruling corporate elite in Canada, restructure the economy, encourage peace and tolerance, protect the poor and oppressed domestically and abroad, and become an example for the rest of the world.
Don't worry, though. The site assures us that this is not another "faith-based" party:
The denomination of Islam as a ‘religion’ is a misnomer at best. Averroes, the man that introduced Islamic cognition to Europe is known as the “Father of secular philosophy in Europe”. What the IPC-PIC does is follow the model perfected by prophet Muhammad whose revolution over 1400 years ago marked the most significant change in human history...
My question: if Muhammad perfected the model long ago, why can't any Muslim nation seem to follow it?
Or could it be that they are following the paradigm, and that that, in fact, is the problem?
No matter. Not when the party has such lofty goals:
Goals include restructuring of the inherently oppressive capitalist economy and provide a true free market, focusing on internal security including domestic non-violent threats to the nation, and dismantling of the ruling elite in Canada. Hmmmm.....yeah i bet they'll chop more than this in the long run.Sounds like the 'change' Justine Trudeau is bringing.

Gaza militant group denies pledging allegiance to Islamic State.
Gaza militant group denies pledging allegiance to Islamic State. (xinhuanet).
A militant group in the Gaza Strip denied on Saturday that it had pledged allegiance to the Islamic State (IS) group, after an earlier an announcement on the social media said it did so.
The Salafi militant group in Gaza is called Jaish al-Islam, or the Army of Islam. Its commander, Mumtaz Dughmush, made the denial in a statement published on the Arabi 21 news website.
On Friday, several IS activists published a leaflet on their Facebook pages which was signed by the Army of Islam, saying that the group pledged allegiance to the IS and its leader Abu Bakr al-Baghdadi.
"We are not aware of any leaflet signed by our group that is pledging allegiance to the IS," Dughmush said. "Some Palestinian intelligence groups are standing behind issuing such a fake leaflet."
Jaish el-Islam is was one of Gaza's three militant groups. It has involved in kidnapping Israeli soldier Gilad Schalit in southeast Gaza in 2006.
Mahmoud al-Zahar, the Hamas strongman, has earlier said that there is no IS in Gaza and the whole Gaza Strip is under the full grip of his movement.
Over the past three months, Hamas security forces have been cracking down on Salafists by arresting dozens of them.

Syrian rebels: 'Sometimes NATO Ally' Turkey tipped al Qaida group to U.S.-trained fighters.
Syrian rebels: 'Sometimes NATO Ally' Turkey tipped al Qaida group to U.S.-trained fighters. (mcclatchydc).
The kidnapping of a group of U.S.-trained moderate Syrians moments after they entered Syria last month to confront the Islamic State was orchestrated by Turkish intelligence, multiple rebel sources have told McClatchy.
The rebels say that the tipoff to al Qaida’s Nusra Front enabled Nusra to snatch many of the 54 graduates of the $500 million program on July 29 as soon as they entered Syria, dealing a humiliating blow to the Obama administration’s plans for confronting the Islamic State.
Rebels familiar with the events said they believe the arrival plans were leaked because Turkish officials were worried that while the group’s intended target was the Islamic State, the U.S.-trained Syrians would form a vanguard for attacking Islamist fighters that Turkey is close to, including Nusra and another major Islamist force, Ahrar al Sham.
A senior official at the Turkish Foreign Ministry, who spoke only on the condition of anonymity, declined to respond to questions about the incident, saying any discussion of Turkey’s relationship with Nusra was off limits.
Other Turkish officials acknowledged the likely accuracy of the claims, though none was willing to discuss the topic for attribution.
One official from southern Turkey said the arrival plans for the graduates of the so-called train-and-equip program were leaked to Nusra in hopes the rapid disintegration of the program would push the Americans into expanding the training and arming of rebel groups focused on toppling the government of Syrian President Bashar Assad. Hmmmm.....They only figured it out now? Read the full story here.

Erdogan's AK Party wants early election, wants to be sole ruler of 'Islamist' Turkey.
Erdogan's AK Party wants early election, wants to be sole ruler of 'Islamist' Turkey. (Bugun).
The Islamist-rooted AK Party absorbed a stinging election setback in June when it lost single-party rule for the first time since taking power in 2002, taking just under 41 percent of the vote. To form a government, it now needs a junior coalition partner.
However, the government may reckon it can soon recover enough votes to govern alone thanks in part, critics say, to the military campaign it launched last month against Kurdish insurgents in the southeast and in northern Iraq as well as Islamic State of Iraq and the Levant (ISIL) militants in northern Syria.
The government calls this a "synchronised war on terror", although critics say the crackdown is aimed mainly at Kurdish militants and geared to winning back nationalist votes.
The AK Party has been in talks with the main opposition, the secularist CHP, but progress has been slow. President Tayyip ErdoÄŸan, who founded the AK Party, is said to favour a snap election, in the hope his party could regain a clear majority.
A survey by pollster Andy-Ar on Wednesday showed AK Party support had risen some two percentage points since the election two months ago to 42.8 percent. It was unclear if this would be enough to regain its exclusive hold on government. However, two other recent polls have suggested the AK Party would take enough votes to return to government alone.
Prime Minister Ahmet DavutoÄŸlu is set to meet the CHP leader on Thursday for their expected final round of coalition talks but told reporters late on Tuesday an "historic announcement" should not be expected after the meeting.
August 23 deadline
ErdoÄŸan also said on Tuesday the constitution did not allow for any relaxation of the Aug. 23 deadline to form a government, underlining that time was running out.
"Society has bought into an early election. We cannot ignore this. But we have to wait for what Prime Minister DavutoÄŸlu tells us today," one senior AK Party official told Reuters ahead of a meeting of party leaders on Wednesday afternoon.
AK Party officials said the prospect of a Nov. 22 election, one week after a G20 summit in Turkey, is gaining credence within the party and was "one step closer" than the preference of a coalition with the CHP or nationalist MHP.
A senior CHP official also cooled coalition expectations and said party leader Kemal Kilicdaroglu was to hand out election brochures at a meeting of its leadership on Wednesday.
"The AK Party does not want to form a government with us. We say 'let's run the country together', they say 'no, don't interfere'," he told Reuters. He said the AK Party had proposed to them a short-term coalition, while the CHP had pressed for a four-year reform government.
The Andy-Ar survey, results of which were published in Haberturk newspaper, showed support for the CHP rising to 27 percent, while support for the MHP and pro-Kurdish HDP appeared to be receding.
The results of opinion polls commissioned by the AK Party between Aug. 1-10 are also seen as playing a role in guiding the decision on whether to seek an early election, but recent polls gave some party members cause for concern.
"I think an early election is a gamble. We appear to be up 2-2.5 percentage points from before according to surveys currently in our hands. But this might not be enough for single-party rule," another senior party official said. Hmmm.....Just as i predicted hours after the election.

Turkish Security sources: military airstrikes have killed 390 PKK 'terrorists' ...have killed ZERO ISIS members. (Bugun).
Without citing its sources, the state-run Anadolu Agency also said that around 400 suspected PKK militants were injured in the attacks.
Tension has been mounting following a tumultuous week that began with an Islamic State of Iraq and the Levant (ISIL) suicide bomb killing 32 and injuring 104 activists in the town of Suruç in Turkey’s southeastern province of Åžanlıurfa. It was followed by retaliatory attacks by the outlawed PKK against Turkish troops and police across the country, including the murder of two police officers in their home in the town of Ceylanpınar, also in Åžanlıurfa province.
Turkey has since been conducting nationwide operations against suspected members of the PKK, as well as airstrikes against PKK positions in northern Iraq and an aggressive media campaign against pro-Kurdish groups.
More than 20 security force personnel have been killed in attacks mostly attributed to the PKK and Turkish security forces have detained suspects linked to ISIL, PKK, and leftist groups, detaining over 1,300 people across the country since July 24th, according to a statement from the Prime Minister's Office.
Turkey also launched airstrikes against ISIL and the PKK in Syria and Iraq.
The report said that the PKK organization was damaged on August 1st during a Turkish air operation against its camps in Qandil Mountains in northern Iraq, adding in another air operation in Bokriskan region of Iraq, the PKK’s ‘Åžehit Dilan’ battalion's commander and four group leaders were killed, and 30 militants injured.
A strike against Zergele camp in the Qandil region saw more than 20 PKK members, including the head of the women’s branch of the organization—code named ‘Gülten’—the report continued.
“In Enze, buildings used as PKK headquarters were destroyed and almost 30 female militants were killed.”
The PKK, designated a terrorist group by Ankara, the United States and European Union, launched its insurgency in 1984 and more than 40,000 people have been killed in the conflict. Hmmmm........NATO Values....'Genocide' of Kurds?

How 'Sometimes NATO Ally' Turkey handed over six injured YPG fighters to terrorist group Al Nusra
How 'Sometimes NATO Ally' Turkey handed over six injured YPG fighters to terrorist group Al Nusra. (ANF).
It has been revealed how Turkey handed over six injured YPG fighters treated there to the jihadist Jabhat Al-Nusra gangs.
In the previous days, YPG fighters Ahmed Şêrko, Omer Qadir, Rêber Seyho, Ehmed Helûm, Cemal Ehmed and Beşîr Mihemed were taken into custody following a raid in a guest house in Turkish capital Ankara.
The six YPG fighters who were detained yet before the completion of their treatment were taken to the Foreigners' Department of Police to be deported.
The six wounded combatants were, however, deported not through the YPG/YPJ-held Mürşitpınar border gate leading to Kobanê, but through the Al-Nusra-held Cilvegözü (Bab El Hewa) border gate in Reyhanlı district of Hatay.
Thus, the Turkish state handed over six YPG fighters, who had been wounded defending their homeland against jihadist gangs, to the Jabhat Al-Nusra, another organization of fascist jihadists in the Syrian territory.
Speaking to ANF on the matter, HDP Urfa Deputy İbrahim Ayhan said that after the failure of all their efforts to learn about the fate of wounded YPG fighters, they have finally learned from the Foreigners' Department of Police that all the six had been deported from Cilvegözü border gate.
''The wounded combatants from Rojava were supposed to cross into the Canton of Efrîn, but they didn't, as we learned from the officials from there whom we talked. The Turkish state openly sent these six people to death. This is not only an act that goes against the international law, but a murder as well, said the HDP deputy for Urfa. Hmmmm........."Advanced NAZI tactics".

Islamic State Warns 'Neo Ottoman Conqueror' Turkey Not to Join Coalition Forces. (BasNews).
Islamic State (IS) has issued a statement on social media, warning the Turkish government and President ErdoÄŸan not to join the anti-IS coalition forces.
The statement warns ErdoÄŸan, “IS fighters love death more than you love life and listen to those who have tried this way and listen to their advice.
“Turkey is easily destabilised and we ask ErdoÄŸan why he has opened the door to attacks from our warriors, after years of keeping them closed.”
The statement points out that the European Union continues to allow Turkey to join. “They [EU] look down on Turkey and the West won’t accept you in their circle.”
IS warns Turkey not to follow the same path Tunisia, referring to the terrorist attack on a beach resort in June. “With our first attack all your tourists will leave the country,” warns IS.
The message concludes by focusing on the Kurdish question.
“The Kurds have received assistance from Arab infidels, and your enemy Bashar Assad will encourage Kurdish Israeli spies from Erbil to fight Turkey.” Hmmm.....What's the lives of a few tourists & Turks if you can steal a province or two?
