• Iran:'US forces disrupt aid to Pakistan'.The head of Iran's Red Crescent Society says the presence of American forces in Pakistan has disrupted the process of international aid to the flood-stricken people. "Western countries only make decisions on paper, and have not provided the flood-stricken people of Pakistan with enough help," IRCS Secretary General Zaher Baloni Rostami said on Thursday.Isn't heartwarming how Islamic countires like Pakistan and Iran work together?

This doesn't violate your Fourth Amendment rights, because you do not have any reasonable expectation of privacy in your own driveway — and no reasonable expectation that the government isn't tracking your movements.That is the bizarre — and scary — rule that now applies in California and eight other Western states.

• 'Drunk' desecration at mosque.A drunk barged into a Queens mosque last night and urinated on prayer rugs, cops and witnesses said.Evening prayers were disrupted at the Iman Mosque on Steinway Street in Astoria when the unhinged man "came in with a beer bottle in his hands, clearly very intoxicated," said Mustapha Sadouki, who was attending services."He fumbled over to our rugs where people were praying" and then committed the despicable desecration, Sadouki said.

Why on earth would anyone at Ft Hood be afraid of Muslims?Unfortunately, we are going through this right now. I think this speaks volumes about us, as a society right now. I mean, as an American citizen and service member, I see the opposition of American citizens to my right to build an Islamic community center near Ground Zero1 as a big slap in our face for a service member.For someone who enlisted in the US army to uphold and defend our constitution, to have that right almost completely battered and taken away is moral shattering. Islamophobia is evident within the military, but I think it's also within our American society right now, unfortunately.And Hey, here's Muslim traitor 101st Airborne soldier Nasser Abdo also appearing on Al-Jazeera telling their audience that serving in the US military is not compatible with being a Muslim. Abdo is claiming conscientious objector status, even though it's not because of his pacificism, but his religious ideology (not grounds for objector status).

Mosques.Mr. Kelly, who is a political satirist, wrote in his column: “Sometimes a subject is so serious that even we need to take a step back and let the story tell itself. This is one of those times. … Despite public opinion, the mainstream media has virtually ignored the protests against the WTC mosque. According to internet reports, not one major TV network or camera crew covered this recent protest. … Uncredited photos of the New York protests have surfaced, bypassing the mainstream media’s unbalanced reporting, and have since caused a stir on the internet. Few words are necessary. The photos of the mystery photographer speak louder than any words ever could.”

• Pakistan aid agencies review security measures after The Pakistan Taliban has threatened to attack foreign aid workers hampering efforts to get relief to the eight million people affected by the flooding.Hundreds of foreign aid workers have arrived in the country to help people in need of clean water, food and medicine. However, many of the worst affected areas are in the north-west of the country where militants have kidnapped and murdered with impunity.Now US officials say they have discovered that Tehreek-e-Taliban, is planning to attack aid convoys. "According to information available to the US government, Tehreek-e-Taliban plans to conduct attacks against foreigners participating in the ongoing flood relief operations in Pakistan," one US official said. In an article entitled “Cashing In On Ground Zero”, Ms. Rossett outlines the salaries, remunerations, stipends, honoraria, emoluments, perquisites, and gratuities — some of them due to the largesse of the federal government — conferred upon Imam Rauf and his wife Daisy Khan since he arrived on these shores.
