  • TSA pat-down leaves traveler covered in urine. 'I was absolutely humiliated,' said bladder cancer survivor.A retired special education teacher on his way to a wedding in Orlando, Fla., said he was left humiliated, crying and covered with his own urine after an enhanced pat-down by TSA officers recently at Detroit Metropolitan Airport. “I was absolutely humiliated, I couldn’t even speak,” said Thomas D. “Tom” Sawyer, 61, of Lansing, Mich.Sawyer is a bladder cancer survivor who now wears a urostomy bag, which collects his urine from a stoma, or opening in his stomach. “I have to wear special clothes and in order to mount the bag I have to seal a wafer to my stomach and then attach the bag. If the seal is broken, urine can leak all over my body and clothes.”On Nov. 7, Sawyer said he went through the security scanner at Detroit Metropolitan Airport. “Evidently the scanner picked up on my urostomy bag, because I was chosen for a pat-down procedure.”Due to his medical condition, Sawyer asked to be screened in private. “One officer looked at another, rolled his eyes and said that they really didn’t have any place to take me,” said Sawyer. “After I said again that I’d like privacy, they took me to an office.”Sawyer wears pants two sizes too large in order to accommodate the medical equipment he wears. He’d taken off his belt to go through the scanner and once in the office with security personnel, his pants fell down around his ankles. “I had to ask twice if it was OK to pull up my shorts,” said Sawyer, “And every time I tried to tell them about my medical condition, they said they didn’t need to know about that.”Still, Lipp said the TSA knows there’s a problem. “This came up during a recent meeting of the agency’s disability advisory board and I expect to see a procedure coming in place shortly that will directly address the pat-down procedures for people with disabilities.” Hmmm...to check cattle there would be a vet present. Why not a doctor present to check people with disabilities.Read the full arbeit macht frei story here.

  • ‘Mandatory religion classes are assimilation,’ say Turkish Alevi groups.Alevi organizations gathered at a rally in İzmir on Saturday to repeat their protest of mandatory religion classes, arguing they are means of “assimilation.”“These mandatory religion classes are an operation to forcibly take our children from us,” Alevi Bektaşi Federation, or ABF, Ali Balkız said during the rally, adding that Alevi children experienced pedagogic problems because they were subjected to different religious information at home and at schools. “This is tyranny. The children are lonely, isolated and humiliated.”“We do not have a problem with our Sunni brothers,” he said. “We are respectful toward their beliefs and worship. However, the ones who do not respect us are the Religious Affairs Directorate, the theology faculties and the government,” Balkız said, adding that they would never give up on their demands and asked the crowd to gather for an even bigger rally in İzmir on March 6, 2011.A dark veil is coming down over Turkey get them out of NATO and keep them out of Europe!Read the full story here.

  • HT:TheJawaReport.Federal Judge: Terror trial evidence creates "a prima facie case as to CAIR's involvment in a conspiracy to support Hamas".A federal judge’s long-secret ruling that federal prosecutors violated the rights of three major American Islamic organizations and others named as unindicted co-conspirators in a Texas terrorism support case finally became public on Friday.Their efforts to have their names cleared by claiming they never had an opportunity to respond to the government's listing them as conspirators appears to have been a Pyrrhic victory as the ruling by Judge Jorge Solis lays out the government's evidence that the groups did in fact conspire to support Hamas. The Government identifies four portions of the record from the first trail that purportedly established that CAIR was a "joint venturer and co-conspirator".Judge Solis then spends several pages (pp. 14-19) laying out the evidence against ISNA, NAIT and CAIR concerning their active support of HLF's fundraising for Hamas. He rules that while the list of unindicted co-conspirators should be sealed, their names should not be expunged.Read the full story here.

  • Respected Muslim cleric jailed after molesting 15-year-old girl who he was supposed to be teaching the Qur'an.A Muslim cleric has been jailed for a year after sexually assaulting a young girl while he was meant to be teaching her the Qur'an.Hafiz Rahman, 67, was paid by families to teach their children after stepping down as a respected Imam.He went to the 15-year-old victim's home and molested her when they were left alone.A judge described the attack as the 'worst breach of trust imaginable' and said he believed it would have continued if the girl's father had not unexpectedly returned home.A jury of eight men and six women at Portsmouth Crown Court took less than two hours to find Rahman guilty of sexual activity with a child.Hmmm....one year, for molesting a child?Read the full story here.

  • HT:IsraelMatzav.More from the morons at TSA keeping America 'safe'.Here's an amazing story from the morons at TSA and how they're keeping America 'safe.' You can't make this stuff up.It's a story about a TSA inspection of 233 American troops on their way back from Afghanistan. All the soldiers were armed and they had spent two hours in a secure area in the Indianapolis Airport after airport authorities insisted that all passengers disembark rather than just the 100 Indiana National Guard troops who were being dropped off there. It’s probably important to mention that we were ALL carrying weapons. Everyone was carrying an M4 Carbine (rifle) and some, like me, were also carrying an M9 pistol. Oh, and our gunners had M-240B machine guns. Of course, the weapons weren’t loaded. And we had been cleared of all ammo well before we even got to customs at Baghram, then AGAIN at customs. So we’re in line, going through one at a time. One of our Soldiers had his Gerber multi-tool. TSA confiscated it. Kind of ridiculous, but it gets better. A few minutes later, a guy empties his pockets and has a pair of nail clippers. Nail clippers. TSA informs the Soldier that they’re going to confiscate his nail clippers. The conversation went something like this.Hmmmm...I can only wonder what went through the soldiers's mind,he deserves a medal for restraint!Read the full braindead story here.

  • Palestinian boy's mother: State backs criminal soldiers.Mother of boy who was forced to open suspicious bags disappointed with 'light sentence' given to soldiers, says 'This is a scandal that encourages others to continue this behavior'; MK Ben-Ari: Soldiers deserve medal. The ruling in the case against the Givati soldiers sends "a negative message to both the victims and the soldiers," claimes Afaf Rabah, the mother of the nine-year-old boy who was forced to check bags suspected of containing explosives during Operation Cast Lead.Hmmm...lady try passing by the TSA with a suspicious bag!Read the full story here.

  • North Koreans Unveil Vast New Plant for Nuclear Use. North Korea showed a visiting American nuclear scientist earlier this month a vast new facility it secretly and rapidly built to enrich uranium, confronting the Obama administration with the prospect that the country is preparing to expand its nuclear arsenal or build a far more powerful type of atomic bomb.Whether the calculated revelation is a negotiating ploy by North Korea or a signal that it plans to accelerate its weapons program even as it goes through a perilous leadership change, it creates a new challenge for President Obama at a moment when his program for gradual, global nuclear disarmament appears imperiled at home and abroad. The administration hurriedly began to brief allies and lawmakers on Friday and Saturday — and braced for an international debate over the repercussions. The scientist, Siegfried S. Hecker, a Stanford professor who previously directed the Los Alamos National Laboratory, said in an interview that he had been “stunned” by the sophistication of the new plant, where he saw “hundreds and hundreds” of centrifuges that had just been installed in a recently gutted building that had housed an aging fuel fabrication center, and that were operated from what he called “an ultra-modern control room.” The North Koreans claimed 2,000 centrifuges were already installed and running, he said.Read the full story here and here.

  • Turkish, French presidents row over Iran at NATO summit.Turkish President Abdullah Gül and French President Nicolas Sarkozy had an angry exchange over Iran at this weekend’s NATO summit in Lisbon, according to reports in the Turkish media.Sarkozy had been insisting on naming Iran as the main source of a potential nuclear attack, something NATO decided not to do in the end and a prospect of much concern to Turkey.Gül also criticized the European Union on the Cyprus issue, saying that the bloc had not kept the promises it made to Turkish Cypriots in 2004. Turkey has had a crisis of confidence toward the European bloc, Gül told EU leaders participating in the official summit dinner.“We no longer have any confidence in you,” he said, according to the media reports.According to the reports, NATO Secretary-General Anders Fogh Rasmussen supported Gül in his statement, saying in his speech at the official summit dinner that it was an “injustice” that Turkey was still not a part of the EU’s defense cooperation. Rasmussen said the EU should make a security agreement with Turkey, adding that it is Turkey that sent the most solders to Bosnia and Herzegovina even though Ankara was not part of the decision-making mechanism.Hmmmm....to "protect" their Muslim brethren? Can't wait to see Turkish Nato troops in Israel to enforce the Midle East peace deal.Read the full story here.

  • HT:AmericanThinker.Muslims vs. Martyrs.President Obama has assumed the role of a traveling advocate for Islam. Every chance the president gets, he climbs on a soapbox to address issues of callousness toward the Muslim faith. The president is well-practiced in Muslim apologetics, and regardless of nation or venue, he stresses the need for tolerance, understanding, and acceptance of all things Mohammad. When traveling abroad, America's living example of ecumenical tolerance makes it a priority to identify first with the religious roots of his childhood, while at home, the president forfeits religious neutrality only when hosting Ramadan celebrations at the White House. As far as Christianity is concerned, Obama takes a "not just" approach to clarify America as "no longer a Christian nation." In fact, Obama mentions his personal conversion to the Christian faith only as an addendum. Moreover, the president has yet to expound upon how someone so obviously enamored of Islam could leave such a "great religion" (he was registered as a Muslim in school in Indonesia) for Christendom if convinced that foundational principles of "advancing justice, progress, tolerance and the dignity of all human beings" are common to both faiths -- a belief proven false daily. At home, the president espouses the "right" to build controversial mosques like Cordoba House in New York City, but he has not yet broached the subject of Muslim protestors, in the name of "interfaith harmony," preventing Indonesian Christians from building churches. Moreover, while visiting a Muslim country that excludes Israelis from entry, the president felt it appropriate to rebuke Israel for housing plans in Israel's capital, calling the holy city of Jerusalem a settlement.Barack Hussein contends, "All men and women are created equal, they have certain inalienable rights, and one of those is to practice their religion freely." The question that a nation built upon a Judeo-Christian foundation needs to ask is this: Why would Obama, the self-appointed global ambassador for religious tolerance, refuse to address the brutal, bloody, life-and-death struggle his supposed Christian brethren face worldwide at the hands of a religion he maintains is one of peace?Hmmm..."They don't trust me because of of my middle name"?And a million other things !Read the full story here.

  • HT:Debka.US security guarantees for Israel worthless when Turkey controls missile shield.By bowing to Ankara's demand to omit Iran, Syria and their ballistic missiles as a threat from the NATO agreement to establish a missile shield base in Turkey, President Barak Obama has devalued any US security guarantees offered Israel - as well as negating the facility's avowed purpose. The missile shield and its location in Europe were conceived in the first place for detecting and defusing Iranian and Syrian ballistic missile before they reached Europe or the United States.President Abdullah Gul held out on this point in discussions with President Obama and NATO leaders, following the lead given him by Prime Minister Tayyep Erdogan of Monday, Nov. 15: "Turkey would demand that NATO assign a Turkish commander to oversee the shield. Especially if this is to be place on our soil…," said Erdogan.Turkey's leaders are very close to the Islamic Republic's extremist rulers and see nothing amiss in their deploying large portions of Iran's missile arsenal on Syrian and Lebanese soil (in Hizballah's keeping). A Turkish general in command of the NATO missile shield cannot be expected to regard threatening missile action by Iran, Syria or Hizballah in the same light as would President Obama or NATO Secretary-General Andres Fogh Rasmussen. He would simply follow the orders of his own prime minister. So NATO's forward missile interceptor may be physically and technically located in Turkey but, under a Turkish commander, its usefulness as an operational shield for the West against the most concrete perils facing NATO members is nil.Hmmm....You can just as well give the keys of the fort to Iran or Osama Bin Laden!Read the full story here.

  • Cleric Says Iran Should Reconsider Allowing Women In International Sporting Events. A conservative Iranian cleric has reacted to the recent success of Iranian female athletes at the Asian Games by calling on authorities to reconsider the participation of women in international competitions.Seyed Mohamamd Gharavi, a senior member of the Society of Qom’s Seminary Teachers, who does not seem to appreciate the success of women athletes, has said Iranian officials should “seriously” reconsider sending women to participate in international sporting events.Gharavi is quoted as saying, “Sports are good for everyone and perhaps they have a higher priority for women,” while adding that participating in international competitions has certain rules and principles that are “not compatible with Islamic principles."He also criticized Iranian state television for covering the games and airing some images that he said upset religious citizens.“The authorities should know that the path they’ve taken is not controllable," he said. "Its proof are some of the actions that took place at the games and people also witnessed them. Those moves were not in harmony with Islamic ideas.”An Iranian hard-line cleric, Ayatollah Alam Alhoda, said in 2008 that it is unlawful for women to participate in sports.Hmmmm...welcome to AD 620?Read the full story here.

  • FCC may regulate Internet lines days before Christmas. The Federal Communications Commission (FCC) has a Christmas gift in store for the phone and cable industry: it may move ahead on its controversial net-neutrality regulations three days before Christmas. An FCC source confirmed on Friday that the commission plans to push its December meeting back by a week, meaning it will fall on the 22nd of the month. That's the same meeting in which analysts say the agency may move forward on its controversial net-neutrality proposal.Though the FCC has not confirmed that it will vote on net neutrality this year, rumors are swirling that it will. The timing of the meeting is already raising eyebrows. Some see it as a way to move the matter along before the GOP assumes the majority and while Congress is not in session to criticize the effort. Rep. Cliff Stearns (R-Fla.), ranking member of the telecom subcommittee, questioned the schedule on Friday. He said "it appears that Chairman [Julius] Genachowski is trying to slip it under the radar and hope no one notices."Industry sources also suggested that political calculus is involved with the change of date for the meeting."While many Americans will be enjoying their eggnog on that day, I'm sure the broadband providers won't be pleased to find this piece of coal in their stockings," an industry source jibed.Hmmm...Many of the worst laws were passed around the Christmas periode.Read the full story here.

  • NATO planning integral role in enforcing Mideast peace deal. NATO chief tells Haaretz that alliance will enforce, but not forge, Mideast peace.NATO will play an integral role in enforcing a Middle East peace deal, but will not play a direct role in reaching that agreement, the alliance's secretary general told Haaretz this weekend. One result of the new NATO doctrine will likely be closer relations with non-member states. This weekend, NATO sources said high-level officials at the organization's Brussels headquarters are cognizant of Israel's disappointment with its apparently downgraded ties with NATO over the past few years, and are laying groundwork for strengthening those ties. The North Atlantic Council - NATO's most senior governing body - also announced it would launch bilateral relations (in contrast to collective ties ) with Israel and the six Arab states that comprise the Mediterranean Dialogue. Egypt and several other of the Arab states have tried to prevent NATO from forging closer ties with Israel.Hmmmm....Obama's final goal, turning NATO  in a potential occupying force for Israel?Read the full story here.

  • Ahmadinejad urges girls to marry at 16.Iranian President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad urged young girls to marry at age of 16 in his latest rejection of the country's once effective family planning program, local newspapers reported on Sunday.Following record birth rates in the wake of the 1979 Islamic revolution, Iran implemented an internationally praised family planning program in the 1990s that dramatically reduced the growth rate. Ahmadinejad has criticized the program as an ungodly and a Western import."We should take the age of marriage for boys to 20 and for girls to about 16 and 17," he said, according to the state-owned Jam-e Jam daily. "The marriage age for boys has reached 26 and for girls to 24, and there is no reason for this."Read the full story here.
