As Christians throughout the world celebrate Advent, which represents the awaiting of the birth of the Christ Child, word is spreading of Adam, a little Catholic boy who, at the tender age of three years old, stood up courageously to the Muslim aggressors in the midst of carnage.Frances Cardinal George, the outgoing president of the United States Conference of Catholic Bishops, included Adam’s story in his final remarks to the USCCB in November:Now, at the end of last month, on the vigil of the feast of All Saints, in the Syriac Catholic Cathedral of our Lady of Deliverance in the city of Baghdad, many dozens of Catholics were killed as they gathered for Mass. Two were priests: one was killed at the altar and the other as he left the confessional. They are joined in death with hundreds of others who have died for their faith in Christ since the current conflict began. An American Dominican Sister, a friend of a friend, has written from that country: “Waves of grief have enveloped their world, surging along the fault lines created in Iraqi society by the displacement of thousands of Iraq’s Christian minority who have fled what is clearly a growing genocidal threat…One survivor was asked by a reporter, what do you say to the terrorists? Through his tears he said, ‘We forgive you.’…Among the victims of this senseless tragedy was a little boy named Adam. Three-year-old Adam witnessed the horror of dozens of deaths, including that of his own parents. He wandered among the corpses and the blood, following the terrorists around and admonishing them, ‘enough, enough, enough.’ According to witnesses, this continued for two hours until Adam was himself murdered.” As bishops, as Americans, we cannot turn from this scene or allow the world to overlook it.At three years old, children are beginning to learn from their parents about crossing the street safely and about being careful around strangers. It is at this age that children begin to ask “why” questions.Little Adam surely knew, as is demonstrated by his actions, that there is no reasonable answer to the question “why” as his parents and others lay dead. It was clear to Adam that a horrible injustice had been done. Adam’s ability to reason was developed enough to recognize blatant injustice. His courage prompted him to act upon what reason had informed his conscience of.The fact that this little Catholic boy, young though he was, used reason in such a courageous manner in the face of Islamic fundamentalists is also notably consistent with the message of the Vatican in regard to Islam and how Christians should deal with Muslims in daily life.Hmmm....When will the civilized world as a whole say "ENOUGH IS ENOUGH"?Read the full story here.

• Stabbing and feared abduction of American woman by Palestinians.Two Arab men, believed Palestinians, stabbed two women hiking near Moshav Matta not far from Beit Shemesh west of Jerusalem inside the Green Line Saturday, Dec. 19. One of them, an Israeli tour guide, reached a group of sightseers in serious condition from knife wounds with bound hands. She was taken to hospital after sounding the alarm that her companion, an American woman was missing. She had seen her being dragged off by the two men before she escaped.Her report placed police and IDF forces in the Jerusalem, Bethlehem and Mt. Hebron districts on a high alert.Jerusalem police chief Aharon Franco reported that the police and Shin Bet are investigating the possibly that the missing woman is no longer in the region and using all their resources, including undercover informants, to discover her whereabouts and who the kidnappers are.Meanwhile, exhaustive searches of the area, backed by helicopters using flares, are taking place to locate the missing woman amid fears for her life.Source.

• Hamas rejects Holocaust Museum trip.Terror group demands UN agency cancel tour planned for excelling students in Washington. Hamas condemned on Saturday the UN Relief and Works Agency for Palestine Refugees for its intention to take excelling Gazan students on a visit to the Holocaust Museum in Washington D.C.The terror group called the plan "suspicious", and demanded that the initiative be dropped. It also called on the Palestinian Authority in the West Bank to "take a national stand for halting the moral corruption of superior Palestinian youth". "The memory of the children of Gaza cannot withstand the suffering of all of the persecuted people around the world. The suffering caused by the Jewish occupiers is enough. Besides, the United States has no claim to human rights, as it violates them every day around the world and in its own territory." • OIC sets its sights on ICANN to stifle criticism of Islam on the internet.This simply can’t be allowed to happen. This Organization of the Islamic Conference (OIC) cannot be allowed to exert its influence or control of ICANN. Every freedom loving patriot no matter what country you hail from or political persuasion you belong to, should be worried over this development. The OIC has already been highly successful in subverting the UN General Assembly, and is vigorously pursuing an agenda to get criticism of Islam criminalized the world over, now its got its sights on this innocuous sounding organization that’s soon to become under the auspices of international, multilateral control.Here is what the law fare project has to say about it: The Internet Corporation for Assigned Names and Numbers (ICANN) is the entity responsible for assigning domain names on the Internet, and was established as a non-profit corporation based in California during the Clinton administration so that the Internet’s development would be coordinated by a single entity.ICANN works “in particular to ensure the stable and secure operation of the Internet’s unique identifier systems.” As part of this mission, ICANN approves Domain Name Registrars, which are organizations that register specific domain names, and assigns IP addresses, the numerical codes by which computers actually connect to each other via the Internet.From November 25, 1998 until September 30, 2009, ICANN was overseen by the U.S. Commerce Department. The Memorandum of Understanding between the Department of Commerce and ICANN was allowed to expire, to be replaced by international, multilateral control.The Lawfare Project report goes on further to note that the OIC’s Secretary-General, Ekmeleddin Ihsanoglu is aggressively working to ensure that this entity will work closely with the OIC’s Islamophobia Observatory, in order to combat anti-Islamic content on the net.On thing has to be said about the OIC, they are relentless, and they have to be stopped. The very issue of free speech is at stake here, which means the freedom to criticize religion and any ideology, that includes Islam. As I told you earlier, Clinton was very happy following that press conference. It sent some serious rumbles through the party structure. And here is what is being under reported. It wasn’t so much how good Clinton was but how bad Obama was. Bill Clinton was being Bill Clinton, and nobody does that kind of thing better than he does. But seeing Obama leave that stage for a Xmas party?????? That was just crazy stuff wasn’t it? If Obama didn’t still somehow enjoy having most the media working to protect him that kind of thing might have just finished him right there. And you were right when you asked about how he treated Robert Gibbs. To be that dismissive of your Press Sec. to dismiss him as “Gibbs” to the press. Wow. There’s so much to read between the lines on what Obama showed us that day, and none of it is good for Obama. I’ve been saying it to you for a while now. The guy is cracking up. Nobody who watches that press conference can believe otherwise. It wasn’t just bad. It was HORRIBLE. How many times has he said that turning the economy around is important? Jobs are critical? Etc???? And so he meets with a former Pres. to talk tax rates that impact every American and leaves the press conference regarding that meeting after a few minutes??????? I actually felt bad for Gibbs, and that is saying something for me.I want to point you on something about Jarrett if you don’t mind. She was at a recent WH/business leader thing. She WAS the White House at this meeting.I don’t believe Obama even understands the process here. He is being told what to say, how to react, etc. That’s not new, but on this it’s even more so than before. Jarrett is running the show, with input from First Lady. Those two have formed quite a formidable team inside WH. And regarding those specific questions being asked to Jarrett – some of them NEVER CAME UP IN THE MEETING. She was LYING over and over again during that brief interview. And she was taking some of her own responses in the meeting and then saying “The president said this”. Obama didn’t say any of that. Jarrett basically admitted on camera she is the president. The two are one and the same. Jarrett is Obama’s brain. It’s her WH now full on. There is nobody left in the West Wing to counter her agenda. And her agenda is almost 100% labor unions.Unions are blasting Rahm in Chicago. Those strings lead right back to Jarrett.Holder is very nervous. Something up at DOJ. The place is a mess. Normally he would have been long gone but Jarrett supports him. Only as long as Holder can keep a lid on the stink of what is at the DOJ though IMO. If some of that breaks open Holder is gone and could even face full on hearings against HIM. Those would be deserved IMO.Told a big move coming at WH. Not a normal post midterm house cleaning. Something bigger. • RightSideNews.BATFE Requests “Emergency” Authority To Track Semi-Automatic Rifle Sales .The Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives has proposed that it be given emergency authority for six months, beginning January 5, to require about 8,500 firearms dealers along the border with Mexico “to alert authorities when they sell within five consecutive business days two or more semiautomatic rifles greater than .22 caliber with detachable magazines.” A Washington Post story reporting on the BATFE proposal described that definition as being applicable to “so-called assault weapons,” but it would also apply to many rifles that have never been labeled with that term.The reporting requirement will apparently be imposed under the “authority” the BATFE has used in the past to demand reporting of other types of transactions from certain limited groups of dealers over the past 10 years, but the new proposal is far broader than any previous use of this authority. Of course, there's no law today that prevents dealers from reporting suspicious transactions (or attempted transactions) to the BATFE, and dealers often do so. The BATFE is also free to inspect dealers' sales records—either for annual compliance inspections or during a criminal investigation.NRA-ILA’s chief lobbyist, Chris Cox, denounced the attempt to establish a registry of Americans who purchase semi-automatic rifles that gun control supporters ultimately want to see banned. "This administration does not have the guts to build a wall, but they do have the audacity to blame and register gun owners for Mexico's problems," Cox told the Post. "NRA supports legitimate efforts to stop criminal activity, but we will not stand idle while our Second Amendment is sacrificed for politics.However, it is crystal clear that some in the Obama Administration agree with those who believe the answer to crime is always more gun control. In September, MAIG blamed crime in states that have “strong” gun laws, on states that don’t have the same laws. And ever since President Obama took office, gun control supporters have been blaming Mexico’s crime problem on America’s gun laws."Needless to say, the NRA will not only comment, but take whatever other action is appropriate to block this sweeping expansion of federal recordkeeping on gun owners.

• 'Mother cuts out the heart of her daughter, four, as she listens to recording of Koran in ritual killing'.A mother has been arrested after a four year old girl was found stabbed to death with her heart and other organs cut out and strewn around her flat.The 35-year-old woman was allegedly sitting in a her kitchen chanting verses of the Koran as her daughter's disembowelled corpse lay next to her.The little girl's heart and other organs were found in different rooms around the flat in Clapton, east London.Police suspect she she carried out the killing as a religious offering as she listened to the Muslim holy book on an MP3 player at full volume.The mother, who is understood to have two teenage children of 14 and 16, has since been sectioned under the Mental Health Act and is in a secure unit. The gruesome scene was discovered by the girl's father when he arrived home to the flat on Thursday to find his partner clutching a kitchen knife.Yesterday another shocked resident, a mum in her 30s, said the mother always wore a black headscarf with a veil.She added: 'Usually you could only see her eyes.'I often heard shouting coming from the flat as she and a man argued. In Pakistan , the numbers approach 70%. Even in England , more than half of Pakistani immigrants are married to their first cousins, and in Denmark the number of inbred Pakistani immigrants is around 40%.The numbers are equally devastating in other important Muslim countries: 67% in Saudi Arabia , 64% in Jordan and Kuwait , 63% in Sudan , 60% in Iraq , and 54% in the United Arab Emirates and Qatar .According to the BBC, this Pakistani, Muslim-inspired inbreeding is thought to explain the probability that a British Pakistani family is more than 13 times as likely to have children with recessive genetic disorders. While Pakistanis are responsible for three percent of the births in the UK , they account for 33% of children with genetic birth defects.The risk of what are called autosomal recessive disorders such as cystic fibrosis and spinal muscular atrophy is 18 times higher and the risk of death due to malformations is 10 times higher.Other negative consequences of inbreeding include a 100 percent increase in the risk of stillbirths and a 50% increase in the possibility that a child will die during labor.Lowered intellectual capacity is another devastating consequence of Muslim marriage patterns. • Five Iraqi Christians seeking asylum returned from Stockholm. UN protest.Harsh criticism of the Swedish government by the United Nations Commission for Refugees after they forcibly returned five Iraqi Christians seeking asylum in Sweden. The five were part of a group of at least 20 people from Iraq. Thousands of Christians have sought a safe haven outside the borders after the massacre of 31 October in the Syrian Catholic Cathedral of Our Lady of Salvation. According to unofficial sources the authorities justify the refusal by citing a situation of relative peace in the country. "We have heard many stories of people fleeing their homes after receiving direct threats. Many new arrivals explain that they left Iraq for fear of an attack, after what happened on October 31, "says Melissa Fleming, spokeswoman for the UN body in Geneva. "Some might take only a few things with him," adds Fleming. • Iran: Christians jailed for three months over evangelizing activities.Nine Christians have been held in prison in Iran for three months without charges. On the day of their arrest, 19 September 2010, state television said: "A group of nine Christians have been arrested in Hamadan on charges of evangelization activities." Local sources reported security forces statements, according to which the group's purpose was to destroy the Islamic Republic of Iran. The text referred several times to the nine calling them "Christian Zionists."The names of four of them (five are of unknown identity) are Vahik Abrahamian his wife Sonia Keshish Avanessian (Armenian-Iranian), Arash Kermanjany and Arezou Teimour, Iranians who speak Farsi. The security forces according to the report broke into the house Abrahamian and arrested him together with his wife and two other Christian converts who were his guests. The house was searched, and officers seized various personal items. • Lebanon denounces Israel 'spy' devices to UN.Army spokesman says two 'espionage devices' found on Mount Sannine 'flagrant violation' of Lebanese sovereignty, international law and Security Council Resolution 1701. Lebanon has complained to the United Nations Security Council about two "espionage devices" it claims Israel placed atop two of the country's mountains, the foreign ministry said on Saturday.The devices were found on Mount Sannine, northeast of Beirut, and Barouk Mountain, east of the capital, on Wednesday, an army spokesman said.The army said the device on Mount Sannine consisted of visual emission and reception parts. The second device was "more complicated," it added, without elaborating. The army said it had been alerted to the existence of the devices by Hezbollah, which has been cooperating closely with army intelligence since the launch of a national crackdown on alleged Israeli spy rings in 2009. Hezbollah has accused arch-enemy Israel of having infiltrated the country's telecom sector. On December 3, the Israeli army detonated two of its spy devices in southern Lebanon, slightly injuring two passers-by, after Hezbollah uncovered their location near the coastal city of Tyre.Read the full story here.

• US commander Mike Mullen reassures Gulf states on Iran.The top US military commander has reassured Persian Gulf nations of Washington's support in the face of regional concerns about Iran.Speaking in Bahrain, Adm Mike Mullen said Tehran was a threat to peace but that the US "takes very seriously our security commitments in the Gulf region", AP news agency reported.Gulf leaders have expressed fear over Iran's nuclear programme, which the US says is aimed at making a nuclear bomb.Iran says its intentions are peaceful.Adm Mullen held talks with the king of Bahrain, which hosts a large US naval base and lies across the gulf from Iran.The US was "very ready" to meet any challenge from Iran, he said. • Saudi mulls hiking blood money.Diya could be nearly quadrupled to reach up to SR400,000.Saudi Arabia is considering a proposal to sharply increase diya, the bloody money paid under Islamic law by a killer to the victim’s relatives in return for pardon, a newspaper in the Gulf Kingdom reported on Saturday.The Supreme Court has suggested the increase to King Abdullah of Saudi Arabia following a study conducted by a judicial committee, taking into consideration the drastic social and economic changes in the country, Okaz daily said.Under the new system, diya for accidental killing will be tripled from SR100,000 to SR300,000 while bloody money for premeditated murder will be nearly quadrupled from SR110,000 to SR400,00, the paper said.According to the Arabic language paper, Islam has originally set diya at 100 camels or an equivalent sum of money. Security officers are on their feet now, says a source at a hypermarket. Due to cultural sensitivity, even if victims raise an alarm, the suspects cannot be bodily searched, says another security personnel of a supermarket chain in Dubai.Emirates 24|7 spoke to security officers at various malls. All of them confirm there has been an increase in the number of thefts as well as customer complaints.Men dressed in abayas, with their face covered, cannot be identified even if they move around suspiciously. Gold chains, mobile phones and wallets are their preferred items, say security officers.A security supervisor at a supermarket in Sharjah says such thefts happen mostly during peak business hours when the place is crowded. "Shop-lifters can be easily caught via electronic theft detectors, but what do you do with cross-dressers who steal customers mobile phones and wallets. • US envoy Bill Richardson warns of Korea tinderbox.An unofficial US envoy visiting North Korea has warned that the situation on the peninsula is a "tinderbox".The envoy, Bill Richardson, made the comments after talks with officials in Pyongyang, whom he asked to exercise "extreme restraint".He said he had urged them to let South Korea go ahead with planned live-firing exercises on an island which was shelled by the North last month. Pyongyang has been threatening to strike back if the drill goes ahead.On Friday, Russia - which shares a border with North Korea - summoned US and South Korean envoys to urge them to cancel the exercises, saying Moscow was "deeply concerned" about rising tensions in the region.New Mexico Governor Bill Richardson is visiting Pyongyang in a private capacity, but he has in the past acted as a go-between with North Korea - with whom the US has no formal diplomatic ties."I am urging them extreme restraint... Let's cool things down. No response. Let the exercises take place," he said.North Korea has warned it will launch "unpredictable self-defensive strikes" if the drill goes ahead on the island of Yeonpyeong, which lies close to the disputed inter-Korean western maritime border. He was known on the street as “Ghost.”Ahmed has been convicted of a series of crimes, including possession of crack cocaine for the purpose of trafficking, assault, mischief and uttering threats.Readers this is a big deal, normally refugees are not returned to terrorist countries and I saw another story on this case indicating Amnesty International was now involved. But, I was impressed that Canada must be getting really serious about refugees and other immigrants who commit crimes and the public is probably figuring—good get them off the street and deported.
