I listened to fully half of this and find it facinating....I heard the Muslim doctor here in L.A. about 7 years ago ...what I've heard from him in the last year is far, far more defensive than he was then and that's troubling to me. He mentions the American Revolution as if we're supposed to give Islam that amount of time to grow up...how about learning from us and realizing they'd better get it together sooner than later? He also suggests the world wouldn't exist as it does now had Muslims been as rabid as we say they are; he's nuts; it only didn't go there because we kicked their rear ends! I hope I can find the time to finish listening to this discussion, I really appreciate your posting it. I do believe Islam can change and I agree with the doctor that the kids need to be taught but it takes far more than that; and if muslims don't listen to their leaders, then what? Their faith isn't about leadership but it better become that.
