  • A QUESTION OF ELIGIBILITY.Kenya investigated Obama 'African birth'.(WND).Leaked document shows official urged probe of possible criminal 'tampering'.Documents obtained by WND indicate the Kenyan government investigated the possibility that President Obama was born in the East African nation. Two letters purportedly written by Kenya's immigration secretary during the 2008 U.S. presidential election campaign stated that officials in Nairobi could not find evidence Obama was born in Kenya. But the official said the government had "information" that relevant birth records may have been removed or were missing. Emmanuel Kisombe, the permanent secretary in the Ministry for Immigration and Registration of Persons, wrote a letter in July 2008 in reply to a letter from the U.S. ambassador in Nairobi that raised the possibility with Kenyan officials that Obama was born in their country.Kisombe said the Kenyan government investigation was prompted by "numerous intelligence reports that [Obama] might have been born in Mombasa at the Lady Grigg Maternity Wing of the Coast Provincial Hospital." Kisombe noted that the Kenyan government's inability to find Obama birth records was not conclusive, because "the information we in the ministry have is that some documents have been removed by unknown persons at unknown dates or are missing from birth registry records thus denting the prospects of uncovering the facts of this matter." He wrote: This tampering, if confirmed, constitutes a serious offense that is punishable by law and it behooves your office to track down the culprits and bring them to justice. My officers have been instructed to fully cooperate as the Kenya Police Criminal Investigation Department performs this task.Hmmmm.......Read the full story here.

  • Obama regime backs down after subpoena threat from Rep. Issa.(TheHill).The Obama administration will send an official to testify at a House Oversight Committee hearing after Chairman Darrell Issa (R-Calif.) threatened to issue a subpoena. The Office of Management and Budget (OMB) has designated Daniel Gordon, the administrator for federal procurement policy, to testify at a May 12 hearing on a draft executive order that would require federal contractors to disclose their political contributions.Issa threatened to issue a subpoena for testimony on Monday after Budget Director Jack Lew refused to participate in the hearing.“OMB made the correct decision in reconsidering its previous refusal to attend Thursday’s hearing. I look forward to Administrator Gordon’s testimony,” Issa said. Lew on Friday declined to participate in the hearing on the order, citing the fact that the executive order is still being drafted and has not been issued. He said that deputy director Jeff Zients would not participate either.Issa and Graves argue that the executive order will create a litmus test for contractors that could result in contracts being denied to GOP supporters.Lew in his Friday letter to Issa noted that OMB officials have testified five times before Oversight this year and 12 times during this Congress. He said OMB is committed to transparency.Senate Minority Leader Mitch McConnell (R-Ky.) on Wednesday said he was happy to hear that Hoyer "took a stand" against the draft order.“The issuing of contracts by the federal government should be based on the contractor’s merits, bids and capabilities," McConnell said. "Under no condition should political contributions play a role in the decision."Hmmmm....Looking back at "Watergate" it now suddenly looks like a 'childrens birthday party'.Read the full story here.

  • The Bin Laden Files: Excerpts From Osama’s Captured Diary.(BigPeace).The Navy SEALs who dropped in on Osama bin Laden’s hideout on May 1st did not just rid the planet of its most notorious oxygen thief. Recognizing that the compound’s papers and computer files would provide a bonanza of intelligence, the Special Forces operators swept up everything they could carry. Only now is the intelligence being fully processed. In particular, the handwritten notebooks containing bin Laden’s diary have provided a fascinating picture into the al Qaeda mastermind’s last few years. Via a source who insists on remaining unnamed, Big Peace has gained exclusive access to some of the most illuminating entries.

March 2, 2006: All settled in at the new Abbottabad villa. Just think, a few weeks in here and then I’ll be able to come back out in public and assume my rightful place as the ruler of our new caliphate!

June 6, 2006: What a jerk! So, I’m on the phone with Abu Musab al-Zarqawi from Iraq and he just hangs up on me out of the blue. That’s so rude. I mean, I think he hung up. What else could it be?

May 5, 2007: You would think with several wives around the house SOMEONE might do some housecleaning. I think the cave was neater.

September 10, 2008: I cannot believe the Americans would allow a woman to be nominated to be their vice-president. According to the newspapers I have been brought, neither can most American liberals.

November 1, 2008: This time I think I’m just not going to say anything and see how the American elections turn out.

January 1, 2009: Uh, where was the bombing I ordered for today? Hello? Is this thing even on?!?

January 20, 2009: Bush is out of office! There is no doubt I will outlast him and live to celebrate his eventual death! And this Obama’s too!

January 26, 2009: Okay, two votes for “Stay grey” and two votes for “Try dye.” Great – either way I piss two wives off. And Mohammed commanded I take multiple wives why?

February 14, 2009: Turns out I forgot Valentine’s Day, WHICH IS NOT EVEN OBSERVED BY FAITHFUL MUSLIMS! Oh, but is that explanation going to satisfy the wives? Of course not! That would be logical! I miss the cave and the comfort of hardy, rough, sweaty fighting men.

April 13, 2009: Out pacing around the courtyard and heard this hum. I thought it was a drone, so I totally ran inside but it turned out to be Amal using the blender to make smoothies. The wives all started laughing and keep calling me “The Strong Horse.” If I could leave here to get a stick to beat them with I would.

July 2, 2010: The American newspapers continue to report that the Obama administration is insisting on investigating and prosecuting the CIA people who tracked down our operatives. Thanks for the help, suckers!

September 13, 2010: The Taliban courier bringing me the Lost finale was blown up by a Hellfire missile. This is a terrible tragedy – I’m dying to know how the show turned out.

December 13, 2010: Arshad played a joke on me. He handed me a bunch of my writings about the wickedness of George Bush and then yelled “Surprise – that’s just a collection of MSNBC transcript excerpts!” He had me going for a minute there! Too bad when the caliphate comes we will be outlawing humor.Hmmmm.......Khomeini there's no fun in Islam?Read the rest of the story here.

  • Having done not enough damage in the Middle East, the President will Renew Muslim Outreach.(WSJ).WASHINGTON—President Barack Obama is preparing a fresh outreach to the Muslim world in coming days, senior U.S. officials say, one that will ask those in the Middle East and beyond to reject Islamic militancy in the wake of Osama bin Laden's death and embrace a new era of relations with the U.S. Mr. Obama is preparing to deliver that message in a wide-ranging speech, perhaps as early as next week, these officials say. The president intends to argue that bin Laden's death, paired with popular uprisings sweeping North Africa and the Middle East, signal that the time has come to an end when al Qaeda could claim to speak for Muslim aspirations."It's an interesting coincidence of timing—that he is killed at the same time that you have a model emerging in the region of change that is completely the opposite of bin Laden's model," Ben Rhodes, deputy national security adviser at the White House, said in an interview. Since January, popular uprisings have overthrown the longtime dictators of Tunisia and Egypt. They have shaken rulers in Libya, Bahrain, Syria, Yemen and Jordan, marking the greatest wave of political change the world has seen since the fall of the Berlin Wall. But the push for democracy appears to have stalled in some countries. The street protests against Libyan leader Moammar Gadhafi have morphed into a civil war, with North Atlantic Treaty Organization backing the rebels. Syrian President Bashar al-Assad and Bahrain's ruling Khalifa family have both met demonstrations with violence. Bin Laden's death gives Mr. Obama a chance to underscore the belief among many administration officials that the terror leader's relevance had already begun to diminish during the so-called Arab Spring. Mr. Obama, who has made outreach to the Muslim world a cornerstone of his presidency, plans to describe the Islamic world as at a crossroads, said U.S. officials, making the case that bin Laden represented a failed approach of the past while populist movements brewing in the Middle East and North Africa represent the future.Mr. Rhodes said timing of the speech remains in flux but Mr. Obama could deliver it before leaving on a five-day trip to Europe on May 23. The White House is already telegraphing the message of the coming speech to the Islamic world by placing American diplomats on Arab television and radio, according to U.S. officials. The White House is still debating, however, whether Mr. Obama should lay out a concrete plan for revitalizing the stalled Arab-Israeli peace process. Many Arab governments have been pressing Mr. Obama to publicly outline his own parameters for the creation of an independent Palestinian state as a way to exert more pressure on Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, who visits Washington next week. These diplomats said the Mideast's democratic surge is raising expectations among their own populations for an end to the decades-old Arab-Israeli conflict.White House officials said they are still reassessing the monumental changes in the Middle East and whether an aggressive U.S. push to resume peace talks would likely be successful.Mr. Obama is also scheduled to meet Jordan's King Abdullah II in Washington next week. The Arab monarch has been at the forefront of Mideast leaders calling for the U.S. to impose its own peace plan on the Israelis and Palestinians. Jordan's population is 60% Palestinian, and the king has faced his own popular protests in recent months.Hmmmm.....Israel better prepare to receive the final stab in the back from Hussein.Read the full story here.

  • Obi-Wan Kenobi Is Dead, Vader Says.(GalacticEmpireTimes).— Obi-Wan Kenobi, the mastermind of some of the most devastating attacks on the Galactic Empire and the most hunted man in the galaxy, was killed in a firefight with Imperial forces near Alderaan, Darth Vader announced on Sunday. In a late-night appearance in the East Room of the Imperial Palace, Lord Vader declared that “justice has been done” as he disclosed that agents of the Imperial Army and stormtroopers of the 501st Legion had finally cornered Kenobi, one of the leaders of the Jedi rebellion, who had eluded the Empire for nearly two decades. Imperial officials said Kenobi resisted and was cut down by Lord Vader's own lightsaber. He was later dumped out of an airlock. The news touched off an extraordinary outpouring of emotion as crowds gathered in the Senate District and outside the Imperial Palace, waving imperial flags, cheering, shouting, laughing and chanting, “Hail to the Emperor! Hail Lord Vader!” In the alien protection zone, crowds sang “The Ten Thousand Year Empire.” Throughout the Sah'c district, airspeeder drivers honked horns deep into the night. “For over two decades, Kenobi has been the Jedi rebellion’s leader and symbol,” the Lord of the Sith said in a statement broadcast across the galaxy via HoloNet. “The death of Kenobi marks the most significant achievement to date in our empire’s effort to defeat the rebel alliance. But his death does not mark the end of our effort. There’s no doubt that the rebellion will continue to pursue attacks against us. We must and we will remain vigilant at home and abroad.”Kenobi and a group of his followers were eventually captured while fleeing the system, and taken aboard the Death Star, which was in the midst of surveying the recent environmental disaster on Alderaan. Darth Vader called it a “targeted operation,” although officials said four tie fighters were lost because of "mechanical failures" and had to be destroyed to keep them from falling into hostile hands. In addition to Kenobi, two men and one wookiee were killed, one believed to be his young apprentice and the other two his couriers, according to an admiral who briefed reporters under Imperial ground rules forbidding further identification. A woman was killed when she was used as a shield by a male combatant, the Admiral said. Two droids were also reported missing. “No Stormtroopers were seriously harmed,” Lord Vader said. “They took care to avoid civilian casualties. After a firefight, I defeated my former master and took custody of his body.” Jedi tradition requires burial within 24 hours, but by doing it in deep space, Imperial authorities presumably were trying to avoid creating a shrine for his followers.Lord Vader has denied requests to present photographs of the body, describing them as "too gruesome" for the general public.Hmmmmm......"May the force be with us".Read the full story here.

  • NJ State Police "Outraged" Over Rapper Invite to White House.(NBC).The invitation of rapper Common to the White House this week is drawing the ire of the union representing New Jersey state police. While even casual hip-hop fans wouldn't characterize him as a controversial rapper, Common found himself under the microscope after First Lady Michelle Obama invited him to the White House for an arts event. In question: the lyrics to "A Song for Assata," about convicted cop-killer and former Black Panther Assata Shakur.FOX News and Sarah Palin condemned the decision after the Daily Caller published some of Common's lyrics, including some that criticize former President George W. Bush. For New Jersey police, the outrage centers on "A Song for Assata" lyrics like "Your power and pride is beautiful. May God bless your soul."Shakur, formerly known as Joanne Chesimard, was convicted for the 1973 slaying of Trooper Werner Foerster on the New Jersey Turnpike. She escaped prison in 1979, and is living in asylum in Cuba. The White House appearance comes during the same week that lawmen from across the nation, including Jones, make their annual trek to Washington to honor their fallen comrades at the National Law Enforcement Memorial.Sal Maggio, a retired troop commander with the state police, said his colleagues still talk about Shakur and the million dollar bounty the FBI has put on her capture.Neither Jones nor Maggio believe the president or first lady are fully aware of Common's song about Shakur, though the rapper did appear at campaign events for Obama when he ran for president."I like the president and first lady," said Maggio. "I think he's doing a pretty good job lately."There was no comment from the White House late Tuesday afternoon. A representative for Common could not be reached.Hmmmm....I wonder if the Obama's sung together with him in their Jeremiah Wright'church Choir'?Following the controversy over one of Wright's sermons, Common criticized the American news media's coverage of the incident as having "an agenda."No wonder the Obamas 'love him'?Read the full story here.

But Carney also said media reports about Common's participation in Tuesday night's East Room event distort what the rapper stands for.Carney says Common has earned praise for being a socially conscious rapper. • Osama 'funeral prayer' sparks clashes.(PressTV).Clashes have broken out at a mosque in Kuwait City after a Salafi extremist group attempted to hold a “funeral prayer” for al-Qaeda leader Osama bin Laden.Around 200 hardliners gathered in Ihsan Mosque on Monday afternoon, after prominent Salafi leader Mubarak Al Badhali asked his followers to honor bin Laden, IRNA quoted Kuwaiti newspaper Al Watan newspaper as saying. The mosque's imam prevented the group from holding the prayer, arguing that they needed a special permission for the act.But the hardliners attacked the imam and beat him down, triggering a big fight inside the mosque.Several people were injured in the scuffle, in which fists, sticks and head gears were used, before a large police force intervened. One of the assailants was arrested by the police for attacking the imam -- who is now confined at a hospital.Badhali has rejected claims of gross misconduct at a sacred site, and has instead accused the imam of causing the chaos."Our intention was peaceful,” he said, adding that he only wanted to honor "a Muslim who had been killed by disbelievers."Saudi Arabia is the biggest place for the spread of al-Qaeda-linked Salafi culture in the world.Hmmm.....No wonder that Obama will 'renew his Muslim outreach'?Read the full story here.

  • Hamas skeptical of Fatah's statehood bid.(Ynet).Gaza rulers say September most likely too soon to declare Palestinian independence, as too many questions pertaining to state's viability remain unanswered. Senior Hamas official Mahmoud al-Zahar said Wednesday that the Islamist movement was somewhat skeptical as to the viability of Fatah's September-bound bid for statehood.Speaking with the Palestinian Ma'an News Agency, al-Zahar said that "all the talk of a Palestinian state is… an attempt to pacify us." He further wondered as to the nature of the Palestinian state, should it be declared in several months' time: "Where is the land for this state? Are those living in the West Bank and Gaza to be its citizens? What will be the fate of the five million Palestinians in the diaspora? Are we to give up the right of return?" He also said that anyone who thinks that a Palestinian state would be accepted by the international community without it recognizing Israel first, "does not understand the (political) landscape." Hamas, he said, is willing to accept a Palestinian state based on the 1967 borders, but will maintain its refusal to recognize Israel, since a formal recognition of Israel would "cancel the right of the next generations to liberate the lands."Al-Zahar did, however, confirm the decision reached with Fatah to maintain the truce with Israel, calling the move "part of the resistance, not a cancellation," and noting that "truce is not peace." Hmmmm....Whenever we feel like changing our minds, we will?Read the full story here.

"It would be a natural move for Iran to open an embassy or representative office in Gaza," he said, adding, "Gaza is now a region almost free of occupation and Iran can have an active embassy in Gaza as it will have the same kind of mission in Egypt in future." "Iran was the first government which recognized Palestine and allowed opening of the Palestinian embassy and today the Palestinian ambassador is active in Iran," he added.Hmmm....With friends like Obama ,Israel has nothing to fear?Read the full story here.

  • French far-right MP stripped of EU parliamentary immunity.(Expatia).The European Parliament stripped parliamentary immunity from French far-right MEP Bruno Gollnisch on Tuesday, to enable a complaint of "incitement to racial hatred" to be investigated.French authorities will now interview Gollnisch after asking for the move, following a complaint over an October 2008 press release issued by Rhone-Alpes regional authorities near Lyon, which Gollnisch led, that cited "the invasion of our land and the destruction of our culture and values" by Islam. The International League against Racism and Anti-Semitism launched the complaint, and the European Parliament decided that, as the case related to Gollnisch's activities as a regional councillor, "applying parliamentary immunity to such a situation 'would constitute an undue extension of those rules'," a statement said.Lawmakers voted 511 in favour, 56 against and 65 abstentions.First elected to the European Parliament in 1989, Gollnisch had his immunity lifted in 2005 and was given a three-month suspended jail term and a 5,000-euro fine in 2005, although an appeal court threw that out in 2009.Read the full story here.

  • IDF investigation: 'PA police' including 'former' terrorist shot 44 bullets at unarmed Israelis.(IsraelMatzav).An IDF investigation has concluded that 'Palestinian police' shot 44 bullets at mostly unarmed Israeli civilians in the April 24 incident in which Ben Yosef Livnat was murdered. The investigation has also concluded that at least one of the 'Palestinian police' was a terrorist who had been released from an Israeli jail.A probe by the Judea and Samaria division of the IDF stated the attack at Joseph's Tomb was unwarranted, and the report did not rule out the possibility that it may have been a terrorist attack, Voice of Israel government radio reported. The soldiers shot with the intention to kill, according to the IDF.The Israel Security Agency (Shin Bet) and police are conducting a further investigation to determine whether the shooting and murder were pre-meditated.At least two of the PA soldiers, commonly called “police” by mainstream media, were trained by American officers at an American-funded training base in Jordan. The IDF report concluded the attack is a ”warning” of what may await Jews this summer and also serves as a caution sign concerning further cooperation with the PA security forces.Hmmm.....Get ready for Saterday!Read the full story here.
