Lots of 'noise' about anti-Islam covers 'Dragonfly' and 'Flair' by Belgium right wing "Vlaams Belang" party

Lots of 'noise' about anti-Islam covers 'Dragonfly' and 'Flair' by Belgium right wing "Vlaams Belang" party.(FOK).The right wing party Vlaams Belang does not spread anymore 'fake covers' of the magazines Libelle and Flair with a woman in burqa and anti-Islamic slogans. The action led to fierce protests from Belgium Sanoma Media, which publishes the real women's magazines. Vlaams Belang, Filip Dewinter ringleader decided Thursday afternoon to withdraw the folders with the parodies. According to Dewinter, the humorous intended message got through. The party picks the media boycott no longer, as he twittered. Vlaams Belang made the parodies because both Sanoma Magazines refused to place an advertisement for a critical book about women and Islam. On the nepcover Flair was a free recipe for a Molotov cocktail. Dragonfly gave the advice include: "How do I remove my mustache?" and "Explosive weight loss during Ramadan.".Read the full story here, more covers here.(Dutch).
Philip Dewinter came earlier this year out with a poster of his daughter modelling a bathing suit and burka with the text "Freedom or Islam " - 'dare to choose'.
