Boudewijn de Groot (born 20 May 1944) is one of the most famous Dutch singer/songwriters. He is known for the song "Welterusten Meneer de President" (1966),Boudewijn de Groot was born in Indonesia in 1944 in a Japanese concentration camp close to Batavia (today known as Jakarta) where his mother died in June 1945. In 1946, he and his family returned to the Netherlands. The song was a protest song against the Vietnam War, now 46 years later it's just as actual as then and although this video clip is showing G.W. Bush it might just as well show Pres Obama.
