2 Turkish students detained for using Nazi salute on concentration camp visit.(SZ).
Two Turkish students were taken into custody in Poland after they allegedly greeted an Israeli student group with a Nazi salute during their visit to a former Nazi concentration camp, the Turkish media reported on Friday.
The report said that two Turkish students visiting the camp encountered a group of students from Israel and addressed them with the notorious Nazi greeting, “Heil Hitler.”Following an official complaint by the Israeli group, the Polish police detained the two Turkish students and referred them to a prosecutor's office. The two are reportedly being accused of promoting fascist propaganda; they rejected the allegation, telling the prosecutor that what they did was an innocent joke.
