Rogozin prefers Russian-made planes to Canadian Bombardier localization.(RBTH).
Russian Deputy Prime Minister Dmitry Rogozin doubts that Russia should launch Bombardier production on its territory.
"Should we deploy a Bombardier plant here? Or should we prefer a European analogue? Or should our aircraft industry finally start designing and building modern and competitive hardware?" he wrote on Twitter on Friday.

It was Rogozin's comment on the Canadian decision to expel Russian servicemen who were studying in Canada.

The state-owned corporation Rostec and the world’s biggest aircraft manufacturer, Bombardier, signed a memorandum at the MAKS-2013 airshow to establish a joint venture to assemble the short-haul Q400 aircraft in Russia. Experts estimate the demand for the plane in Russia and the CIS at 250 units by 2030. Rostec is planning to launch assembly in 18 months.Read the full story here.
