Anyone Surprised? Putin appointed Kadyrov the acting head of Chechnya. (Tass).

Chechnya’s Head Ramzan Kadyrov has described his appointment as the acting head of the Chechen Republic as unlimited responsibility and a heavy burden.
Russian President Vladimir Putin on Friday signed a decree appointing Ramzan Kadyrov the acting head of Chechnya before the republic elects a new leader. Putin also expressed the hope that Kadyrov would run in elections for the region’s top post in September.
"I regard [my appointment - TASS] to be unlimited responsibility and a heavy burden. I clearly realize that I cannot live on name or reputation. It is important to give a start to new work and set new and more complicated tasks," Kadyrov wrote on his page in Instagram.
"It’s a great pleasure and enormous responsibility for me to receive any instruction from Vladimir Vladimirovich [Putin]. The more so, if it’s so important," he said.
Kadyrov added that the people of Chechnya had earlier asked him to remain the republic’s head. Hmmm......As I predicted Kadyrov reluctantly accepted the heavy burden.
