• ‘U.S. and China are Headed for a Generational Crisis War’.The North Koreans are threatening a ’sacred war’ and ‘physical response’ to the joint U.S.-South Korean naval exercises taking place in the Sea of Japan between Japan and Korea, and soon in the Yellow Sea between China and Korea. The exercises are a response to North Korea’s torpedoed sinking of the South Korean warship Cheonan.This is typical of North Korea’s bluster, but the confrontation between the U.S. and China is far more significant.

• Dutch sailor, 14, gets OK for solo world trip.A Dutch court has cleared the way for 14-year-old Laura Dekker to set sail on a risky solo voyage around the world.

• China Warns U.S. to Stay Out of Islands Dispute.“What will be the consequences if this issue is turned into an international or multilateral one?” he asked in remarks published on the Foreign Ministry’s Web site. “It will only make matters worse and the resolution more difficult.” The Chinese know Obama is a weak mollusk?

• Sao Paulo to build Temple of Solomon replica.Mega-church in Bras neighbourhood will be made of stones cut exactly like those of original temple.Brazil will build a replica of Jerusalem's destroyed Temple of Solomon in eastern Sao Paulo, in a four-year, 113-million dollar construction project, local media said Wednesday.

President Barack Obama, the honorary chairman of the Boy Scouts of America, will not speak in-person before the group on Wednesday at Fort A.P. However, the president is sending a videotaped message to the scouts for Wednesday, the same day he will be in Manhattan to tape an appearance for ABC TV’s talk show “The View.”
