  •  NYPD cop barred from notorious Harlem mosque.A detective from the Police Commissioner’s office looking to ease tension between Harlem cops and local residents after an alleged brutality incident was denied entry to a notorious mosque simply because he was carrying his gun and shield.So it starting with no go zones ,like in Europe.

  • Not much good news on President Barack Obama's birthday.Presidential Approval Ratings .Figures for early August in the second year in office:

Using swear words, he said he is ready to buy a personal fire truck in exchange for releasing him from contributing to his retirement fund.The blogger said that the only fireman in the village was armed with only a helmet and fire jacket, which was most likely left over from Soviet days. He also said there was no fire truck or no warning systems. He said the only warning bell was removed years ago and replaced with a telephone booth; however, workers never got around to connecting the phone lines to it.

  • Dutch teenager begins record breaking voyage to sail round the world at 14.A 14-year-old girl has set sail from the Netherlands in a bid to become the youngest person ever to make a solo voyage around the world. About 100 supporters waved as Laura and her father Dick Dekker left the southern Dutch harbor of Den Osse in her 38-foot (11.5-meter) yacht Guppy, bound for Portugal where she plans to leave her father and begin her circumnavigation attempt.
