• Obama Regime Apologizes to the U.N. Human Rights Council for America’s Human Rights Record.Its come to this, we’re now apologizing for America’s supposed sins (as the left perceives them) to the U.N. Human Rights Council, which is rabidly anti-Israel, dominated by the OIC and coddles some of the worst human rights abusing regimes in the World. Hope and change, baby!

• Odd Connections of Some GOP Backers of Ground Zero Mosque.Looking ahead at the November midterm elections and the Ground Zero mosque controversy, a group of Arab-American and Muslim Republicans wrote in an open letter, “we cannot support victory at the expense of . . . the Arab and Muslim community in America.”Read those words carefully. These self-styled Republicans, who are criticizing those who object to the mosque being built so close to the 9/11 death site in Lower Manhattan, say that it is more important to leave the Islamic center where it is planned than it is to help Republicans win control of Congress and defeat the Obama agenda this fall.Moderate Muslims?Good luck finding one you have better odds finding an Unicorn.

Naser [sic] Abdo, 20, an infantryman assigned to the 101st Airborne Division at Fort Campbell, Ky., said Monday that if the military orders him to deploy, he will refuse to go despite the fact that it may result in a military charge against him.

On Friday, I reported that Israel would not bomb the Bushehr nuclear reactor or any other Iranian facility - for now - because the Obama administration had 'convinced' Israel that the Iranians will not have nuclear weapons for at least another twelve months. Gary Milhollin, the executive director of the Wisconsin Project on Nuclear Arms Control, writes that Obama (or his administration) lied. Iran's nuclear clock has not slowed.

• State Department: We’re Not Hiding Ground Zero Imam.We just don’t want anyone to know what he’s REALLY up to.State Department officials insist they are, “not hiding” Imam Feisal Abdul Rauf during his outreach tour of middle eastern countries in wake of the mosque controversy. However, the U.S. government has also refused to release a detailed itinerary of Rauf’s day-to-day schedule.Another great example of transparancy under the Obama regime.

• Obama, Pelosi and Reid legislate a 15 year hyper inflationary depression.Obama and his accomplices Nancy Pelosi and Harry Reid have engineered through their legislation of the last two years a 15 year hyper inflationary depression. The conditions for such an occurrence are inked in stone.China has stopped buying our debt and Bernanke is now buying the debt from himself.How does he do this? He issues bonds and gets the Federal Reserve Board to print the money to buy them. This is like a business owner going to his photocopying machine and printing the cash he needs then buying his products and services from himself and claiming business is booming. That is how bad the country’s finances are.This is the only thing Bernanke can do to accommodate Obama's trillion dollar shopping sprees.

• Jews are Wising Up: Leaving the Left and Moving Right in Record Numbers.In a recent survey by respected pollster Pew Research Center, the largest religious demographic shift in political party identification came from Jews. About 12% of Jews surveyed said their party affiliation was no longer the Left-leaning Democratic Party and about 13% more now identified as Right-leaning Republicans. About 3 times more Jews recently went to the Right than most other religious denominations. According to Pew: Republicans also have made gains among Jewish voters; 33% now identify or lean Republican, up from 20% in 2008.What, exactly, does that mean? Well, it’s obvious – that Jews aren’t dumb people. We know which way the wind blows and when you have a president and administration that saddles up with terrorist supporting regimes, most smart people would move in the opposite direction. When you have a president who accuses an entire country of mostly Jews of disliking him because of his middle name, we tend to get a little insulted – not to mention question his sanity.

• Headscarf ban sparks debate over Kosovo's identity.The home of Florinda Zeka in central Kosovo is an idyllic spot, surrounded by undulating hills.The silence of the countryside is broken only by the family chickens wandering idly through the garden.But for the last few months, life for this 17-year-old has been anything but peaceful.She was forced to leave school when she donned the hijab - or Islamic headscarf - in March, after the Kosovan government banned them in state schools.

• Slideshow: Opponents and supporters protest at the site of the 'Ground Zero mosque'. It was somewhat ironic to see two groups fully expressing their First Amendment rights over a story which essentially involves the freedom of expression and religion.By most accounts the opponents to the Park51 project outnumbered supporters.Police had to keep the two sides separated over fears of violence.Opponents unveiled one banner that displayed a woman being tortured and stoned under Sharia law. Another setup involved an Arab mannequin on top of two mock missiles. The message of the opponents seemed to be that Islam is a religion of violence, an obviously debatable point for supporters.

• Study Links Chronic Fatigue to Virus Class.When the journal Science published an attention-grabbing study last fall linking chronic fatigue syndrome to a recently discovered retrovirus, many experts remained skeptical — especially after four other studies found no such association.Now a second research team has reported a link between the fatigue syndrome and the same class of virus, a category known as MRV-related viruses. In a paper published Monday by The Proceedings of the National Academy of Sciences, scientists found gene sequences from several MRV-related viruses in blood cells from 32 out of 37 chronic-fatigue patients but only 3 of 44 healthy ones.The researchers did not find XMRV, the specific retrovirus identified in patients last fall. But by confirming the presence of a cluster of genetically similar viruses, the new study represents a significant advance, experts and advocates say. “I think it settles the issue of whether the initial report was real or not,” said K. Kimberly McCleary, president of the CFIDS Association of America, the leading organization for people with chronic fatigue syndrome.

• 22-year-old Mexico woman crowned Miss Universe.A 22-year-old Mexico woman won the Miss Universe pageant Monday night after donning a flowing red gown and telling an audience it's important to teach kids family values.Jimena Navarrete of Guadalajara was first contestant to answer an interview question onstage and the last of 83 standing in the headline-grabbing pageant on the Las Vegas Strip."I want to give my parents a big hug," she said at a news conference after the pageant. "There was a lot of effort and a lot of sacrifice."
