  • HT:YidWithLid.Muslim Brotherhood Declares War on America; Will America Notice? This is one of those obscure Middle East events of the utmost significance that is ignored by the Western mass media, especially because they happen in Arabic, not English; by Western governments, because they don't fit their policies; and by experts, because they don't mesh with their preconceptions.Does that mean the Egyptian, Jordanian, and all the camouflaged Muslim Brotherhood fronts in Europe and North America are going to launch terrorism as one of their affiliates, Hamas, has long done? No.But it does mean that something awaited for decades has happened: the Muslim Brotherhood is ready to move from the era of propaganda and base-building to one of revolutionary action. At least, its hundreds of thousands of followers are being given that signal. Some of them will engage in terrorist violence as individuals or forming splinter groups; others will redouble their efforts to seize control of their countries and turn them into safe areas for terrorists and instruments for war on the West.Yet now here is the Brotherhood’s new supreme guide, Muhammad Badi giving a sermon entitled, “How Islam Confronts the Oppression and Tyranny,” translated by MEMRI. Incidentally, everything Badi says is in tune with the stances and holy books of normative Islam. It is not the only possible interpretation but it is a completely legitimate interpretation. Every Muslim knows, even if he disagrees with the Brotherhood’s position, that this isn’t heresy or hijacking or misunderstanding. In August 1996, al-Qaida declared war on America, the West, Christians and Jews. Nobody important paid much attention to this. Almost exactly five years later, September 11 forced them to notice. Let it be said that in September 2010 the Muslim Brotherhood, a group with one hundred times more activists than al-Qaida, issued its declaration of war. What remains is the history of the future.Hmmm....the enemy within did his job?Read the full story here.Click here for comments.

  • HT:ForeignPolicy.U.S. policy on Pakistan: heading for a major but unannounced change? My gut feeling is that U.S. officials are beginning to give up on getting serious anti-Taliban help from the government of Pakistan. My guess is that there won't be any official change stated, but more actions that Pakistani officials haven't been consulted about.Read the full story here.Click here for comments.

  • Obama Administration Pressures ISPs To Censor Websites.Department of Justice would have power to shut down “unlawful content,” which according to their own definition includes political free speech. The Obama Administration IP Czar Victoria Espinel has been holding meetings with ISPs, registrars, payment processors and others in a bid to get them to block access to websites “dedicated to infringing activities”. However, as we have documented, the government deems such infringement to include political opinions which are antagonistic toward the state, leaving the door open for state censorship of free speech on the world wide web. However, as we have documented, material that the DoJ considers “unlawful” and even a potential red flag for terrorism includes Tea Party literature posted on public bulletin boards, as well as copies of the “Obama Joker” poster.According to a recent memo released by the Bureau of Justice Assistance, a component of the DoJ, “extremist literature” includes “political or religious displays,” or anything related to “abortion”. The memo also warns against “radical bookstores”.We got a taste of which websites might be targeted under such a system back in March when, coinciding with the Obama administration’s release of the Comprehensive National Cybersecurity Initiative, a government plan to “secure” (or control) the nation’s public and private sector computer networks, Democrats attempted to claim that the independent news website The Drudge Report was serving malware, an incident Senator Jim Inhofe described as a deliberate ploy “to discourage people from using Drudge”Read the full story here.Click here for comments.

  • Federal Reserve Chief Warns US Is On The Brink Of Financial Disaster, Media Censors.Bernanke Tells the Truth: The United States is on the Brink of Financial Disaster.Yesterday, Federal Reserve Chairman Ben Bernanke delivered a speech before the the Annual Meeting of the Rhode Island Public Expenditure Council in Providence, Rhode Island. In the speech, he warned about the current state of the government finances. His conclusion, the situation is dire and "unsustainable".It is remarkable that mainstream media has given this speech no coverage. I repeat, the central banker of the United States says in his own words.Read the full story here.Click here for comments.

  • Hezbollah militants training in Syria missile base, satellite images show.Google Earth photos reveal Scuds at base near Damascus. The Syrian army has a Scud missile base near Damascus, according to recent satellite photos. The photos also suggest that Hezbollah activists are being trained in the Scuds' use at the base.Reports that Syria may have given Hezbollah Scuds ratcheted up tensions between Jerusalem and Damascus about six months ago, according to foreign media. In late May, the Sunday Times of London reported that shipments of weapons from the Adra base were going to Hezbollah, and that according to anonymous security sources, Iran was sending missiles and other weapons to that base via the nearby Damascus airport. It also said Hezbollah had been given a section of the base for barracks, warehouses and a fleet of trucks to transport weapons to the Lebanese border, 40 kilometers away. Due to the rising tensions at the time, Egyptian President Hosni Mubarak and Saudi King Abdullah invited Assad to an urgent summit at Sharm al-Sheikh. Assad, however, canceled at the last minute. A senior analyst told Haaretz at the time that while Assad was presenting himself to Europe as a peace-seeker, he continued to maintain his strategic alliance with Iran and Hezbollah.Read the full story here.Click here for comments.

  • Khamenei Fatwa Plays to Sunni Sensibilities.Ayatollah ‘Ali Khamenei, Supreme Leader of Iran, issued a new fatwa on October 2 forbidding the denigration of the Prophet Muhammad’s wife, ‘Aisha, or any other historic figurehead revered by Sunni Muslims. “It is forbidden to insult the wives of the prophets and the wives of the greatest messenger, Muhammad, peace be upon him,” read Khameini’s decree. The religious opinion was given following an appeal sent to Khamenei by a group of Sunni scholars.Public denouncement of Prophet Muhammad’s wife ‘Aisha and his close circle of companions is commonly practiced in Shiite mosques, as they are viewed by Shiites as hostile to ‘Ali, Islam’s fourth Caliph. Shiites consider ‘Ali and his close family to be the sole legitimate heirs to the Prophet Muhammad.“Khamenei’s fatwa stems from true knowledge and a deep appreciation for the danger posed by the advocators of divisiveness to the unity of Muslims,” stated Egypt’s highest ranking religious scholar, Dr. Ahmad A-Tayyeb, Sheik of the Al-Azhar mosque. “The fact that the edict was issued by a leading Muslim scholar and a Shiite figurehead serving as Iran’s supreme leader, only adds to its importance.”Dr. Mehrdad Khonsari, a former Iranian diplomat, said that Iran was not interested in appeasing the Sunni Islamic world at large, but rather wished to maintain working relationships with Sunni organizations that cooperate with Iran, such as Hamas and the Taliban. "This is merely lip service on the part of Khamenei," he told The Media Line, "not much more than that." "By issuing such a decree, Iran is seeking to position itself better with elements they rely upon within the Sunni world to exert pressure on the West," he added. "The goal is to defuse tension and create a better atmosphere." Read the full story here.Click here for comments.

  • HT:SheikYermami.Belgium: Filip Dewinter could face massive fine for Mecca slur.A far-right Belgian leader who posted names and addresses of 770 residents on the web in a bid to prove “Islamisation” was at work in the city of Antwerp could face a 500,000-euro fine for racism.Filip Dewinter, leader of Vlaams Belang (which means Flemish Interest), said on his website that the official registry of residents of an Antwerp suburb “includes only 21 Flemish names”.“All the other names are African or North African. This mind-boggling list symbolises the Islamisation of entire districts of Antwerp and elsewhere,” he said.Read the full story here.Click here for comments.

  • Caught Spying on Student, FBI Demands GPS Tracker Back.A California student got a visit from the FBI this week after he found a secret GPS tracking device on his car, and a friend posted photos of it online. The post prompted wide speculation about whether the device was real, whether the young Arab-American was being targeted in a terrorism investigation and what the authorities would do.It took just 48 hours to find out: The device was real, the student was being secretly tracked and the FBI wanted their expensive device back, the student told Wired.com in an interview Wednesday.Read the full story here.Click here for comments.

  • Report: Humanitarian Response In Haiti 'Paralyzed'.A refugee-advocacy group said Thursday that more than 70 percent of camps in Haiti, home to an estimated 1.3 million earthquake victims, lack proper international management nearly nine months after the disaster, leaving them at increased risk of sexual and gang violence, hunger and forced eviction. As of Sept. 15, Nesirky said, 559 U.N. police officers were permanently present in six of the largest camps along with 640 U.N. military personnel. In addition, there are five mobile police units and another 704 military personnel carrying out mobile patrols at all times, he said.Refugees International said "effective camp management and security patrols would also reduce risks of violence against women."It said some local women who established groups in the camps to carry out their own patrols and teach self-defense have received death threats. It said local agencies working on gender-based violence in the camps reported that they had received three times the number of reports of sexual violence than pre-quake. The teenage pregnancy rate in the camps is also extremely high, Refugees International said, and medical agencies reported receiving large numbers of failed "street abortions," some from girls as young as 10 years old. The organization said is also received reports "of women and girls forced to exchange sex for food, especially since the general food distributions stopped in April."In the absence of camp managers, self-appointed camp committees have sprung up," Melanie Teff, one of the report's co-authors, said in a statement. "In some cases, these are beneficial. But in others, these committees are made up of gang members, presenting themselves to aid workers as camp committees and intimidating camp residents."Now if they were threatening to burn Korans the U.S.President would act quickly?Read the full story here.Click here for comments.

  • UK blast suspect Muslim suspect "Tiger Hanif "'wanted revenge'.A Muslim arrested in the UK carried out bombings in India 17 years ago to "get revenge" on Hindus, his extradition hearing in London has been told.Mohammed Hanif Umerji Patel allegedly financed attacks with funds donated to a refugee camp he helped set up, Westminster Magistrates' Court heard.India is seeking Mr Patel, known as Tiger Hanif, over two blasts in Surat, Gujarat, which killed a girl of eight. He was traced to a grocery shop in Bolton by UK police. If extradited, Mr Patel will face allegations of conspiracy to murder and conspiracy to cause an explosion.Read the full story here.Click here for comments.

  • HT:IsraellyCool.Dancing, Lies and Videotape.Much has been made of the YouTube video showing an IDF soldier belly dancing against a blindfolded palestinian woman, the latest example of some present and former IDF soldiers acting against the moral code of the army. These actions are morally wrong, and have caused great damage to Israel and the IDF, for which they are to be condemned – as they have been by Israelis, including the Israeli government and the IDF.But it is also clear that once again, the palestinians are trying to milk this incident for all its worth, and are resorting to lying and embellishment to do so.Ekhsan Debabseh, the palestinian woman shown in the video, was interviewed by various media outlets, to which she gave varying accounts as to exactly what happened.Read the full story here.Click here for comments.

  • Understanding the Islam in Muslim Jew-Hatred.Dutch Parliamentarian Geert Wilders’ brief, powerful documentary film Fitna simply holds up a mirror to Islamic societies by including examples of how various Koranic verses are used by Muslim clerics and political leaders to incite Muslim populations to violence. And Fitna is entirely faithful to classical, mainstream Islamic exegesis (commentary) on the Koranic verses cited in the film, regardless of what cultural jihadists, and their witting or unwitting apologists and abettors, may claim. The Muslim Women’s Magazine program featured an interview of a three-and-a-half-year-old “real Muslim girl” about Jews. When the little girl was asked whether she liked Jews; she replied, “No.” Asked why not, she replied that Jews were “apes and pigs.” The moderator then asked. “Who said this?” And the child answered, “Our God.” “Where did He say this?,” asked the moderator. “In the Koran,” this three-and-a-half-year-old girl replied. At the close of the interview, the moderator stated approvingly: “No [parents] could wish for Allah to give them a more believing girl than she… May Allah bless her and both her father and mother.”The intellectually honest assessment and understanding of Islamic antisemitism, and the anti-Jewish violence it begets must begin with an unapologetic analysis of the motifs of Jew hatred contained in the foundational texts of Islam (i.e., Koran, hadith, and sira), while identifying those.Read the full story here.Click here for comments.

  • Obama’s Sunshine Scam. It’s hard to sufficiently mock President Obama’s decision to install solar panels on the White House. But I’ll try.Since the annual savings of the system is estimated to be only $2,300, you could also safely bet that the system will never actually pay for itself—no matter how many decades (centuries?) the system is used.DuPont is expanding its facility in Circleville, Ohio, to manufacture solar energy materials, accepting $56 million in federal stimulus and state aid for the $175 million project. What does the taxpayer get for all that money? Seventy new jobs created, 444 existing jobs retained and 230 construction jobs. Add all the jobs up and divide and you get a per job cost of $235,000, $76,000 of which comes from taxpayers.Taxpayers are on the hook for about $114,000 for each stimulus-funded solar panel job at projects in Longmont, Colo., and Tipton, Ind. Then there is the $592,000-per-solar-job cost at the Emmet J. Bean Federal Center in Indianapolis, Ind.Pardon me, but since the purpose of all this is to force consumers to spend more money buying high-priced energy (but only when the sun shines), as a taxpayer, I vote for unemployment.Read the full story here.Click here for comments.

  • HT:IslaminEurope.Dublin: U.S. Embassy sponsors Irish Muslim business conference. The U.S. Embassy in Dublin has sponsored a seminar on Muslim entrepreneurs and business in Ireland. A main point of the conference was the need for Sharia law compliant financial products to be used. The U.S. Embassy supported the conference as part of President Obama’s outreach to Muslims around the world. At the conference, Thomas Cooney, academic director of the Dublin Institute of Technology, stated that 76 per cent of Muslim business people in Ireland say securing finance is their biggest problem and 90 per cent said there is a need for financial products to be compliant with Islamic law.Meanwhile unemployment in the US just went up again.Read the full story here.Click here for comments.

  • Jerusalem Source: 'No Chance' Obama will Agree to End Freeze.A senior diplomatic source in Jerusalem said Thursday that there is “no chance” that US President Barack Obama would consent to renewed settlement construction in two months' time, even if Israel consents to extending the building freeze in Judea and Samaria. The source told Arutz Sheva's Ben Shaul that Prime Minister Binyamin Netanyahu has been unable to get Obama to promise that if an agreement on borders between Israel and a future PA state is not reached within 60 days, Obama would not request another extension of the anti-Jewish construction moratorium. “There is no chance of getting Obama's agreement for renewing construction in two months, especially when Obama sees the entire settlement project as illegal according to international law,” the source explained. In a column, Diehl asked: “So why has the Obama administration chosen to focus its diplomacy on extracting a purely symbolic but next-to-impossible concession from Netanyahu? That will be the question worth asking if the peace process breaks down this weekend.” A breakdown of the talks could hurt the Democratic party in the November midterm election, and this may be the reason why Obama is so keen on extending the freeze, if only for a short time."They don't trust me because of my middle name"?Read the full  story here.Click here for comments.

  • U.S. Department of Justice visitors tell Muslims they have their back in the Murfreesboro mosque dispute.Over the summer months, Muslims in Murfreesboro — for three decades a virtually silent minority and a sliver of the city's population — have endured challenge after challenge to their fundamental right to build a house of worship. The latest comes in the form of a trial that started Sept. 27 in Rutherford County Chancery Court, where three aggrieved citizens and their attorney, Joe Brandon Jr., are fighting the proposed expansion of the Islamic Center of Murfreesboro."Basically, what we're being told is that if there's any civil violation of the rights of the Muslim community here, they'll step in," says Abdou Kattih, vice president of the Islamic Center of Murfreesboro, who also met with government officials. There is much debate in the Muslim world over the implementation of Sharia law and how to balance religion with secular government."Sharia law tells us we obey the law of the land where we live," says Ahmed, of Nashville. "The only difference, I think, in my opinion, between Sharia law and the American law is that Sharia, for us, is divine. The Constitution is human. That's it.""There is no contradiction between Islam and the U.S. Constitution," Kattih says.Noooo...?Perhaps only democracy, freedom ,freedom of religion etc,etc...?Read the full story here.Click here for comments.

  • Barack Obama accused of exaggerating terror threat for political gain• Pakistani diplomat launches scathing attack on White House.• European intelligence claims raised terror alerts 'nonsensical'.A US terror alert issued this week about al-Qaida plots to attack targets in western Europe was politically motivated and not based on credible new information, senior Pakistani diplomats and European intelligence officials have told the Guardian.Thomas de Maizière, Germany's interior minister, publicly expressed his scepticism about the US terror warning, saying he saw no sign of an imminent attack on Germany. He described the danger to Germany as "hypothetical".The sharp rise in US unmanned drone attacks in Pakistan's tribal areas, coupled with several cross-border raids by American helicopter gunships that culminated in the killing of two Frontier Corps soldiers last week, was destabilising Pakistan.Hasan said Washington politicians failed to understand how much the US needed Pakistan in the "war on terror". Nor did they realise that public anger over repeated US infringements of Pakistani sovereignty could boil over into attacks on American personnel and interests that the government might not be able to control."The government does not want to go down this road," he said. "But people feel abused. If they [the Americans] kill someone again, they will react. There is a figure that there are 3,000 American personnel in Pakistan. They would be very easy targets."Read the full story here.Click here for comments.

  1. It is a good move for the government to add security to their computer networks to prevent hackers from penetrating the system that may cause severe damage to their database and may eventually cause wars.
