Video - Susan Rice’s Meeting today Fails to Pacify Republicans’ Concerns over Benghazi, Libya Terrorist Attack "I want to say that I'm more troubled today,"
U.S. Ambassador to the United Nations Susan Rice on Tuesday met with - but failed to sway - three Republican senators who have criticized her comments about the Sept. 11 terrorist attack on the U.S. mission in Benghazi, Libya.
"I want to say that I'm more troubled today," Sen. Kelly Ayotte of New Hampshire said after she and fellow Sens. John McCain of Arizona and Lindsey Graham of South Carolina met with Mrs. Rice for an hour behind closed doors on Capitol Hill.
Mrs. Rice was accompanied by Acting CIA Director Michael Morell.
"I am significantly troubled by some of the answers we got, and some we didn't get," said Mr. McCain, who has threatened to block Mrs. Rice's confirmation if she is nominated to succeed Secretary of State Hillary Rodham Clinton.
