"Peaceful" Iran to unveil indigenous ballistic, cruise missiles.(PressTv).Iranian Defense Minister Brigadier General Ahmad Vahidi says Iran will unveil indigenous ballistic and cruise missiles as well as other new military achievements by the next five months.
“New Iranian ballistic and cruise missiles will be unveiled in the first six months of the current [Iranian] year (before mid-September),” said Vahidi in a Saturday interview.
The Iranian defense minister noted that the new cruise missile has a longer range compared with the previous versions.
He noted that Iran will also unveil new bombs during the period.
Touching on Iran’s new naval achievements before mid-September, Vahidi pointed out that launching a new submarine and a missile-launching WIG craft (Wing in Ground craft) are on the agenda of Iran’s Navy.Read the full story here.
