Mexico is ready to increase exports of meat, dairy products, vegetables and fruit to Russia, Russian agricultural watchdog Rosselkhoznadzor said.
Mexican Ambassador to Russia Ruben Herrero made the statement in talks with Rosselkhoznadzor chief Sergei Dankvert in Moscow on Thursday.
Those enterprises that want to supply product to the Russian market are familiar with and ready to meet the veterinary requirements of the Customs Union.
Dankvert affirmed that Russia is interested in importing more food products from Mexico and awaits proposals from the Mexican side, but added that Mexican meat suppliers must refrain from using growth stimulators that are prohibited in Russia. He also offered to send Rosselkhoznadzor specialists to Mexico to provide technical assistance.Hmmm....Canada expect higher prices for Produce from Mexico.
