Palestinian Negotiator Sahib Oreikat Urges US to Respect International Law. (SP).
The Palestinian Authority has demanded that US Secretary of State John Kerry act within the framework of international law in the Middle East crisis' mediation, Palestine Liberation Organization Executive Committee member Sahib Oreikat told the press Tuesday.
"I demanded from [US Secretary of State] John Kerry to change [US] position and act within the framework of international law in the Middle East crisis' mediation," Oreikat said speaking at the Rossiya Segodnya press center, commenting on the results of the recent meeting with Kerry in London.
"Peace is possible only through the creation of an independent Palestinian state," the Palestinian official emphasized, calling on the international community to recognize the co-existence of two independent states – Israel and Palestine. Hmmmm.....Biting the hand 'that feeds you' not the brightest idea.
