Iraq: Chaldean Patriarchate denies the murder of a priest in Mosul? (Christianophobie).[GoogleTranslate].

Excerpt from a press The Work of East of that day (16 h 53).

Patriarchy Site Chaldean this morning formally denies the information that the EIIL (Islamic State in Iraq and the Levant, Daech) have executed a priest in Mosul, named Paul Jacob , detained since 8 months: "No priest wearing this name is known churches in Iraq, whether Catholic, Orthodox and Protestant. There are more Christians in Mosul. " The statement asked not to circulate these rumors scaring Christians and the Western world. In the relaying, we enter into the game of jihadists.

MFS:  When i follow the link they give as 'Source' (LŒuvre d’Orient) i am unable to find any story of denial, a Google search in French for the denial gives no results as well.

I've mailed LŒuvre d’Orient asking them to confirm or deny the story.
