'Sometimes NATO Ally' Turkey to send troops to 'Islamist' Qatar, raises suspicions of training extremists.(BG).

Turkey’s opposition has raised suspicions over a military agreement with Qatar as paving way for the training and arming of more extremist factions among the Syrian opposition forces.

The agreement passed by the Turkish parliament’s foreign affairs committee on Thursday covers training, defense systems, joint military drills, logistics and the appointment of staff between Turkey and Qatar.

But opposition parties have raised concerns over the controversial agreement, particularly that it might lead to suspicious activities such as the sending of Turkish troops to the Gulf state and the building of a base to train more extreme elements of the Syrian opposition with a priority to remove Syrian President Bashar al-Assad.

If the government continues to arm the opposition through training in Qatar, the responsibility for the subsequent bloodshed that will engulf the region will rest on its shoulders,” noted main opposition Republican People’s Party (CHP) Mersin province parliamentarian Aytuğ Atıcı. As cause for their concern, Atıcı among others point to the fact that Turkey already has a separate agreement with the United States to train opposition forces against the Islamic State of Iraq and the Levant (ISIL).

Another aspect of the bill which critics view as harboring sinister intent is the fact it bypasses the requirement for overseas troop deployments be subjected to a vote in the general assembly.Hmmmm......The 'Caliph of the Muslim Brotherhood' sending it's troops to the Muslim Brotherhood den.
