Terrorist group ISIS threatens new attacks in latest French jihad song production. HT: Jpost.
The religious song, titled "On Va Pas Se Laisser Abattre," justifies the Charlie Hebdo murders and calls for more like it.
The religious song, titled On Va Pas Se Laisser Abattre (We Will Not Let Ourselves Be Beaten Down) was posted by Islamic State's media wing, Al-Hayat Media's Twitter account before being translated by the Middle East Media Research Institute on Sunday.
The song includes gruesome lyrics such as "We must strike France/ It is time for it to be humiliated/ We want to see suffering/ And deaths by the thousand," direct threats to the French people, of which both Muslims and Jews comprise some of the largest minorities.
According to MEMRI, songs like this are key to indoctrination, recruitment and keeping fighter's morale up.
Below are the translated lyrics of the song:
Chorus:
We will not be beaten down
We wish to die for Allah
We will persist infighting
And leave [this world] with a smile
Verses:
Yes, Charlie Hebdo is dead, he mocked the prophets
Indeed we will kill without remorse those coming to provoke us
Why are you looking for a fight? You reap what you sow
For those with loaded weapons, it's time to revolt.
We must strike France
It is time for it to be humiliated
We want to see suffering
And deaths by the thousand
The battle has begun. The revenge will be terrible
Our soldiers are enraged. Your end will be horrible.
Islam will prevail, it will be spread by the sword
Those who want to oppose it will never know peace
We came to dominate and our enemies will perish
We will annihiliate them and let their bodies rot.
In order to stay in the French 'Chanson' i've put: ""Ils ont le pétrole mais c'est tout" - 'They have oil, but that's all they've got'
Ils ont le pétrole They have oil
Mais ils n'ont que ça. But they only have that.
Mais ils n'ont que ça. But they only have that.
On a le bon vin, We have good wine,
On a le bon pain, We have good bread,
Et caetera. And so on.
On a le bon pain, We have good bread,
Et caetera. And so on.
Ils ont le pétrole They have oil
Mais c'est tout. But that's all.
On a les cailloux, We have gemstones,
On a les bijoux, We have jewellery,
On a les binious. We have the bagpipes .
On a les bijoux, We have jewellery,
On a les binious. We have the bagpipes .
Ils ont les dollars The have the Dollars
Et c'est bien. And that's good.
On a les man'quins, We have the mannequins,
Les grands magasins, The great departmentstores,
Le Paradis Latin. The Paradis Latin .
On a les man'quins, We have the mannequins,
Les grands magasins, The great departmentstores,
Le Paradis Latin. The Paradis Latin .
Ils ont les barils, on a les bidons, They have barrels, we have the cans,
Mais pour boire, où vont-ils ? But to drink where do they go?
Chez Dom Pérignon. At Dom Perignon .
Parc'qu'ils ont le pétrole Because they have oil.
Mais ils n'ont pas d'eau, But they not have water,
Pas d'neige en montagne, No snow in the mountains,
Pas d'huitres en Bretagne No oysters in Brittany
Que des sables chauds. Only hot sands.
Pas d'neige en montagne, No snow in the mountains,
Pas d'huitres en Bretagne No oysters in Brittany
Que des sables chauds. Only hot sands.
Pétrole on the rocks, ça n'désaltère pas. Oil on the rocks, that does not desalt.
Evian sort des Alpes, Evian comes out of the Alps,
Pas du Sahara. Not out of the Sahara.
Pas du Sahara. Not out of the Sahara.
Ils ont le pétrole They have oil
Pour 30 ans. For 30 years.
On a du vin blanc, We have white wine,
Des blés dans les champs Wheat in the fields
Pour au moins mille ans. For at least a thousand years.
Pour 30 ans. For 30 years.
On a du vin blanc, We have white wine,
Des blés dans les champs Wheat in the fields
Pour au moins mille ans. For at least a thousand years.
