Spokesman: Iran to Turn into N. Fuel Producer after Final Deal with Powers. (Fars).

Spokesman of the Atomic Energy Organization of Iran (AEOI) Behrouz Kamalvandi expressed confidence that Tehran and the world powers would reach a final deal, stressing that the country will turn into an industrial-scale nuclear fuel producer following the agreement.

"The negotiations will certainly yield the desired results and Iran will become one of the well-known countries in fuel production for nuclear power plants," Kamalvandi said, addressing a forum in the Central city of Karaj on Tuesday.

Stressing Iran's right to make use of the peaceful nuclear technology, he said despite the fact that the country is capable of producing nuclear fuel, it hasn’t even thought of moving towards building nuclear weapons.

Kamalvandi, who is also the deputy AEOI chief, pointed to the the Geneva agreement signed by Iran and the Group 5+1 (the US, Russia, China, Britain and France plus Germany) in November 2013, and said that Tehran has accepted to limit its nuclear activities for a period of time but this doesn’t mean that there is any restrictions on the Research and Development activities in this field.

He also announced the country's plans to cooperate with other countries in producing nuclear fuel. Hmmm.....What could go wrong?
