Canada: Trudeau 'Admin' working day and night to get 25,000 Syrians in to Canada in next 7 weeks. (RRW).

The Liberal government intends
to honour its promise to resettle 25,000 Syrian refugees to Canada over
the course of the next seven weeks, says newly-appointed Minister of
Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship John McCallum.
“It certainly remains our objective to get
them here by the end of the year,” said McCallum during an interview on
CBC News Network’s Power & Politics Friday.
“Military bases are a possibility… air transport… even naval transport has not been ruled out.”
“It’s a large amount of work to do in a very short time,” he said.
There is more, here. By the way, the previous government (Harper) had said Canada would take 10,000 over the course of the next year.
Canadian Foreign Minister Stephane Dion signaled that Canada’s foreign policy on the Middle East would change — if not in action, at least in tone.
“The main difference is that we will stop to make it a partisan issue,” he said. “Mr. Harper wanted to embarrass the party of the opposition, but in doing so he damaged the strength of the relationship between Canada and Israel. Israel is a friend. It is an ally. But for us to be an effective ally, we need also to strengthen our relationship with [other] legitimate partners in the region. We need to, for example, strengthen our relationship with Lebanon.” Hmmm......Dion seems to have a soft spot for Lebanon in his heart.

Under questioning from Alabama Senator Jeff Sessions, Emrich admits that there is no reliable way to assure that individuals coming from Syria are properly checked. The exchange lasts about seven minutes and Emrich sounds desperate when he says “we check everything that we are aware of” and that “we are in the process of overturning every stone.”
The bottom line is that there is no way to verify the identity of Syrians so the defeated Homeland Security official proceeds to say that “in many countries of the world from which we have traditionally accepted refugees over the years the United States government did not have extensive data holdings.”
Emrich’s testimony before the Senate panel comes on the heels of Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) Assistant Director Michael Steinbach’s revelation that the U.S. government has no system to properly screen Syrian refugees. Hmmmm........Somehow the Trudeau 'admin' is better equiped then the U.S. to screen Syrian 'refugees'.
