Canada - Ontario Teachers Pension Plan owns nearly Forty percent stake in Brussels Airport. (Observer).by
The Ontario Teachers Pension Plan owns 39% of the recently attacked Brussels Airport. They acquired the hefty stake in 2011.
On their website they
offered a statement of sympathy and added that they are in close contact
with the Belgian government, providing whatever support they can. It's
unclear what that support might entail.
The Ontario Teachers
Pension Plan (OTPP) has been around since 1990 and claims assets over
$150 billion. They administer the pensions for approximately 182,000
teachers and school administrators and pay pensions to about 130,000
retirees.
