Fars claims Iranian Researcher Builds VTOL Drone, shows pic of Lockheed Martin VTOL drone.

Fars claims Iranian Researcher Builds VTOL Drone, shows pic of Lockheed Martin VTOL drone.(Fars).

TEHRAN (FNA)- An Iranian inventor has designed and built a vertical take-off and landing (VTOL) drone using combined fuel which he says is highly functional for military operations.

"The vertical climb Unmanned Aerial Vehicle (UAV) which uses combined fuel and has a big propeller and two side rotors can fly vertically for 2 hours," Iranian inventor Ja'far Aqazadeh told FNA on Saturday.

Noting that the drone uses a fuel cell and a hydrogen generator system as its power source, Aqazadeh said the plane which is specially good for military missions is now under flight test.

In recent years, Iran has made great achievements in its defense sector and attained self-sufficiency in producing essential military equipment and systems, including the UAVs.

Commander of Khatam ol-Anbia Air Defense Base Brigadier General Farzad Esmayeeli announced earlier this month that Iran plans to display a new UAV with features and capabilities similar, but more advanced than the home-made Sarir (Throne) drones in the near future.

"The new drone named 'Haazem 3' enjoys the capabilities of Sarir and will be unveiled on September 1 (on the occasion of the Air Defense Day)," Esmayeeli told FNA. He further elaborated on the features and capabilities of Sarir, and said the UAV is capable of flying from all sides of its nose, enabling it to make sudden left to right moves.

He added that the drone also has a high capability in identifying and imaging targets.Esmayeeli pointed to the missile ammunition of Sarir, and said, "These missiles enable Sarir to confront and combat multiple targets, including invading UAVs."

In relevant remarks in April, Esmayeeli had informed the media that Sarir is a long-range, long-endurance radar evading air defense drone.

"Sarir is capable of carrying cameras and air-to-air missiles and tens of this UAV have so far been produced and used," he added.

Iran has recently made giant advancements in aerospace industries, specially in designing and manufacturing pilotless drones.

In September, Iran announced that it has started using UAVs for its air defense units as part of its broader plans for strengthening the country's air defense capability.

Speaking to reporters on the occasion of the National Day of Air Defense here in Tehran on September 3, Esmayeeli said Iran has equipped its air defense units with Haazem drones.

Haazem is a drone designed and manufactured by Iranian air defense experts in three short, mid and long range models and for air defense missions. The drone can be used as a target for air defense systems and also for reconnaissance missions.

The UAV can also be equipped with missiles and used for aerial bombardments as well.Hmmmm.....I wonder why they didn't use the video below to present their 'Knowhow'?

Another "Swiss Gold Bars Scam" discovered - Tungsten-Filled 10 Oz Gold Bar Found In The Middle Of Manhattan's Jewelry District.

Another "Swiss Gold Bars Scam" discovered - Tungsten-Filled 10 Oz Gold Bar Found In The Middle Of Manhattan's Jewelry District.(ZH).It is one thing for tungsten-filled gold bars to appear in the UK, or in Germany: after all out of sight, and across the Atlantic, certainly must mean out of mind, and out of the safe. However, when a 10 ounce 999.9 gold bar bearing the stamp of the reputable Swiss Produits Artistiques Métaux Précieux (PAMP, with owner MTP) and a serial number (serial #038892, likely rehypothecated in at least 10 gold ETFs across the world but that's a different story), mysteriously emerges in the heart of the world's jewerly district located on 47th street in Manhattan, things get real quick. Moments ago, Myfoxny reported that a 10-ounce gold bar costing nearly $18,000 turned out to be a counterfeit. The discovery was made by the dealer Ibrahim Fadl, who bought the PAMP bar in question from a merchant who has sold him real gold before. "But he heard counterfeit gold bars were going around, so he drilled into several of his gold bars worth $100,000 and saw gray tungsten -- not gold. The bar was filled with tungsten, which weighs nearly the same as gold but costs just over a dollar an ounce."
What makes so devious is a real gold bar is purchased with the serial numbers and papers, then it is hollowed out, the gold is sold, the tungsten is put in, then the bar is closed up. That is a sophisticated operation.
MTB, the Swiss manufacturer of the gold bars, said customers should only buy from a reputable merchant. The problem, he admits, is Ibrahim Fadl is a very reputable merchant.
Raymond Nessim, CEO Manfra, Tordell & Brookes, said he has reported the situation to the FBI and Secret Service.
The Secret Service, which deals with counterfeits, said it is investigating.
And cue panic on the realization that virtually any gold bar in the world, not just those in Europe and Australia, which have already had close encounters with Tungsten substitutes, but also New York may be hollowed out and have a real worth of a few dollars max. Which, sadly, is fitting considering our main story from last night was the realization that an unknown amount of Chinese iron ore had either never existed or had simply vaporized, and was no longer serving as the secured collateral to various liabilities circulating in the electronic ether. After all, only the most naive out there could conceive of gold being sacrosanct when every other asset class is being diluted to infinity by a regime that has long since run out of money.
As for gold-based transactions on West 47th street: look for that market to grind to a halt at least for as long as it takes for this scandal to be forgotten too.
The only open question remaining will be how much of the gold located 90 feet below Libert 33 is in the same Tungstenized format. For what it's worth: it is unlikely we will ever find out.
This is what glaring gold counterfeiting looks like:

Hmmm.....Flashback: MFS - The Other News - March 26 th :  "Not everything that shines is Gold !" Tungsten Filled 1 kilo Gold Bar Discovered in UK.

Within mere hours of this scam being identified – Chinese officials had many of the perpetrators in custody.
And here’s what the Chinese allegedly uncovered: Roughly 15 years ago – during the Clinton Administration [think Robert Rubin, Sir Alan Greenspan and Lawrence Summers] – between 1.3 and 1.5 million 400 oz tungsten blanks were allegedly manufactured by a very high-end, sophisticated refiner in the USA [more than 16 Thousand metric tonnes]. Subsequently, 640,000 of these tungsten blanks received their gold plating and WERE shipped to Ft. Knox and remain there to this day. I know folks who have copies of the original shipping docs with dates and exact weights of “tungsten” bars shipped to Ft. Knox.

Like Elizabeth Warren, Obama Claims Cherokee Ancestry--But Offers No Proof.

                                                     "Two headed snake"

Like Elizabeth Warren, Obama Claims Cherokee Ancestry--But Offers No Proof.(Breitbart).President Barack Obama and Massachusetts Democratic Senate candidate Elizabeth Warren have more in common than just their liberal political ideology, Harvard Law pedigree, and Democratic Party affiliation. Both claim Cherokee ancestry, and neither can prove it. Ms. Warren's claims are current and well known, but President Obama's claims were made back in 1995, when his memoir, Dreams from My Father, was published. On pages 12 and 13 of the 2004 paperback edition, the President unequivocally asserts his Cherokee ancestry: If asked, Toot [Obama’s maternal grandmother, Madelyne Payne Dunham] would turn her head in profile to show off her beaked nose, which, along with a pair of jet-black eyes, was offered as proof of Cherokee blood.
Unlike Ms. Warren, no one has ever alleged that President Obama may have secured employment due to his claim of Native American ancestry. Like Ms. Warren, however, the President puts forth his claim with emphatic certitude, although until now no one has sought to ask him to provide evidence to prove it. Like Ms. Warren, the proof the President has offered to date does not go beyond "family lore"--though he, at least, has not yet offered the Pow Wow Chow cookbook as evidence of his Cherokee ancestry. Unlike Ms. Warren, the President has a family member who, though strongly opposed to the President’s political philosophies, firmly believes the family lore of Cherokee heritage--though he quickly acknowledges that he, like the President, has no concrete evidence to support that belief.
In Dreams, the President says: “Toot’s mother [Leona McCurry Payne]…blanched whenever someone mentioned the subject [of Cherokee ancestry] and hoped to carry the secret to her grave.” Wolf says that “my mother always told us that her father [Leona McCurry Payne’s brother, Franklin McCurry] didn't like to talk about [his Cherokee ancestry] due to prejudice against Indians. She said that he had said that she and her siblings were of sufficient Indian heritage (I think 1/8, but maybe 1/16) that they could have had free college tuition and other government benefits, but he wouldn't acknowledge it publicly--and neither should they.”
One amateur genealogist following this story noted that “other than a couple of people listed as born or living in North Carolina, I don't see anyone [from among President Obama’s ancestors] living anywhere the Cherokees were living. And not all people who lived in North Carolina were Cherokees. When families are from the Southeast and have a family story if it pans out there is Indian blood, it isn't always Cherokee, even if that is what the family was told.”Hmmmmmm..........."Evolving Ancestry?"Read the full story here.
