North Korean leader Kim Jong-Un climbs North Korea's highest mountain: State media.

North Korean leader Kim Jong-Un climbs North Korea's highest mountain: State media.(channelnewsasia).

SEOUL: North Korean leader Kim Jong-Un has scaled the country's highest mountain, state-run media said Sunday (Apr 19), arriving at the summit to tell troops that the hike provides mental energy more powerful than nuclear weapons.(Climbing shoes?)

He's so full of 'hot air' the snow melts.
A photo of the leader of the isolated state showed a smiling and wind-swept Kim standing on a snow-covered mountaintop, the sun rising behind him. (Shadow?)

"Climbing Mt Paektu provides precious mental pabulum more powerful than any kind of nuclear weapon," the Rodong newspaper quoted Kim as saying.

The story is the latest run by state media on the feats of the Kim dynasty, which has ruled for more than six decades with an iron fist and pervasive personality cult.

Just last week the regime insisted Kim could drive by the time he was three years old, while his late father Kim Jong-Il said he had scored an incredible 11 holes-in-one the first time he ever played golf.

The 2,750-metre peak of the volcanic mountain, lying on the border with China, is considered a sacred place in Korean folklore and plays a central role in the propaganda glorifying the Kim family.

Pyongyang's state hagiography has it that Kim Jong-Il was born on the mountain - although many historians say he was born in Russia - and praises the family for their "Mt. Paektu bloodline".

State-run news service KCNA reported that the young ruler of the impoverished but nuclear-armed North scaled Mt. Paektu on Saturday morning along with hundreds of fighter pilots as well as top army and party officials.
Hmmmm.....well actually they probably flew him over with a helicopter and took him back once his uncovered head got cold.

Iran’s atomic chief says “explosives” cut power at underground nuclear facility at Fordo last month

Iran’s atomic chief says “explosives” cut power at underground nuclear facility at Fordo last month.(TI).Saboteurs have tried to damage Iran's uranium enrichment plants by bombing power lines to the sites, head of Iran's Atomic Energy Organization Fereydoun Abbasi said Monday in Vienna, dpa reported. The International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA) might be involved in the incidents, Abbasi noted. His comments at the IAEA's annual general conference came amid efforts by the nuclear agency to start investigating alleged nuclear weapons projects in Iran. Also Monday, the European Union announced plans to resume nuclear talks with Iran. "Terrorists and saboteurs might have intruded in the agency and might be making decisions covertly," Abbasi said.
On August 17, electric power lines supplying the fortified Fordow enrichment site near Qom were cut with the use of explosives, he said, adding that power outages lead to damages of uranium centrifuges. "Then, in the early hours of next morning, an agency inspectors requested an unannounced inspection. Does this visit have connection to that detonation?" he asked, speaking through a translator. The power lines to the Natanz enrichment plant have also been hit by a blast, he added. Hmmmm.......Anyone interested in a Bridge for sale?Read the full story here.

Ambassador Christopher Stevens his body was missing for five hours...Rigor mortis already set in

Ambassador Christopher Stevens his body was missing for five hours...Rigor mortis already set in.(DM).In the chaotic aftermath of the attack on the U.S consulate in Libya, American Ambassador Christopher Stevens was missing for five hours, it has emerged. It has also been revealed today that the Benghazi consulate was not protected by the contingent of Marines that usually safeguard embassies and instead was guarded by Libyan and State Department security officers. A senior administration official said the embassy was 'an interim facility,' which the State Department began using 'before the fall of Gaddafi'' reported Politoco. The embassy was vulnerable to attack because it did not have bulletproof glass, reinforced doors or other features common to embassies, according to reports.
Gunfire erupted at the Benghazi compound at 10pm on Tuesday night and with the attack coming in two waves, Libyan and American authorities did not regain control again until 2:30am. A U.S. State Department official said Mr Stevens and his team 'became separated from each other due to the heavy, dark smoke while they were trying to evacuate the burning building.' At some time between 10:15 p.m. and 11:20 p.m., Mr Stevens was taken from the main building by Libyans to the hospital. But the diplomat was not seen again by his colleagues until 12 hours later when his body was brought to the Benghazi airport from the hospital.
Meanwhile, further details have emerged about the Benghazi attack - Mr Stevens and information technology specialist Sean Smith were killed during an attempt by U.S. forces to evacuate staff from a safe house, Libya's Deputy Interior Minister Wanis Al-Sharif said. U.S. consular staff were moved to the safe house after an attack on the consul building. A plane with U.S. security units arrived from Tripoli to evacuate other staff but militants discovered the location of the safe house, he said. 'It was supposed to be a secret place and we were surprised the armed groups knew about it. There was shooting,' he said. Graphic images taken at the scene show civilians making desperate attempts to pull the diplomat to safety. But their efforts were futile. The doctor who treated him said he died of severe asphyxiation, which caused stomach bleeding and that Mr Stevens had no other injuries. The doctor, Ziad Abu Zeid, said Mr Stevens was brought to the Benghazi Medical Center by Libyans on Tuesday night with no other Americans, and that initially no one realized he was the ambassador. The doctor tried for 90 minutes to revive him....BS!Read the full story here.

Hmmmmm.....Looking at the pictures of the body of the ambassador being dragged trough the streets it's obvious that 'rigor mortis' has started since his left arm is bended upwards.Temperature is an important factor in determining the time of onset of rigor. In normal circumstances and at room temperature rigor is complete in about three to six hours. If the temperature is higher the onset is more rapid — perhaps no more than an hour in tropical temperatures.
