Iranian Commander: Iranian Missiles Able to Penetrate Israel's Iron Dome.(Fars).
"There is no iron dome in the world that we cannot pierce through. What is said about this dome (Iron Dome, Israel's defensive solution to short-range rocket threats) is mostly psychological warfare and propaganda," Jazayeri said on Thursday. He also downplayed Israeli threats to launch an attack against Iran as psychological warfare, and said the Tel Aviv regime lacks the military capability to attack the Islamic Republic. He said that Israel had serious vulnerabilities, and added any miscalculations by the Tel Aviv regime in case of a possible attack against Iran could lead to the annihilation of that regime.
Earlier, the Islamic Revolution Guards Corps (IRGC) announced that a drone's penetration into the Israeli anti-aircraft and radar systems in a region near its important Dimona nuclear reactor displayed inefficiency of Israel's Iron Dome and missile shields. "If the incident is not (part of) psychological warfare, it shows the inefficiency of the Zionist regime's Iron Dome (Israel's defensive solution to short-range rocket threats) and defense shield," Deputy Coordinator of the IRGC Brigadier General Jamaleddin Aberoumand said in a press conference in Tehran in October.
"Their (the Zionists) claim that the drone has infiltrated 100km into the occupied territories indicates that the Zionist regime has abundant weaknesses," he added.
Israel sacked Commander of its Air Force's Air Defense Layout Brigadier General Doron Gavish after it was humiliated by the Hezbollah drone operation. The replacement took place after Lebanese Hezbollah Leader Seyed Hassan Nasrallah confirmed that the pilotless drone which penetrated deep into the Israeli airspace and stopped only a few miles before the Israeli nuclear reactor in the Negev Desert belonged to Hezbollah. The operation codenamed Hussein Ayub saw Hezbollah's drone fly hundreds of kilometers into the Israeli airspace and getting very close to Dimona nuclear plant without being detected by advanced Israeli and US radars, Nasrallah said in October. "This is only part of our capabilities," he stressed, adding that Israelis have admitted to their security failure despite being provided with the latest technologies by Western powers. Nasrallah further stated that Hezbollah's drones are made in Iran but assembled by the resistance movement. Hezbollah plans to send more drones over Israel in the future, he said, adding that the operation shows the resistance movement is ready to defend Lebanon.Read the full story here.
