Palestinian sources say Abbas to announce long-term cease-fire between Israel and Gaza militants Tuesday night. (JPost).
4:59 p.m. The Code Red siren sounds in the Eshkol Regional Council near the border with Gaza.
4:40 p.m. Palestinian sources say Palestinian Authority President Mahmoud Abbas to announce long-term cease-fire between Israel and Gaza militants Tuesday night.
Hamas said on Tuesday that a long-term truce to end seven weeks of fighting in Gaza had been agreed with Israel, hailing it as a "victory for the resistance."
"The negotiations with an agreement which embodies the resistance of our people and a victory for the resistance," Hamas's exiled deputy leader, Mussa Abu Marzuk, wrote on his Facebook page.
Hmmm....Any bets how long this one will last? I for one believe ISIS followers in Gaza won't abide by this 'ceasefire'
