One photo a day in the worst year of my life’ is a video telling a story of a year from the life of a women who is a victim of the domestic violence.
Presenting 365 photos, each representing one day in the year 2012, pictures show a face of a young, beautiful Serbian girl. At the beginning, we can see her smiling and taking shots in different places.
As the days go by her face changes, smile disappears and cuts and bruises become more and more visible. The last shot presents girl’s face covered scabs and her eye swollen to the point that she can barely see. She is holding a sign ’Please help me. I don’t know if I will get to see tomorrow’
’One photo a day in the worst year of my life’ was created by the Serbian organization B92, whose goal is to raise awareness about domestic violence and build a safe house shelter in Belgrade for victims. the Idea was to use YouTube’s popular format.
