ISIL commander being treated at 'Sometimes NATO Ally' Turkish university hospital. (Bugun).
The Denizli governor’s office has confirmed that an ISIL commander wounded during the assault on Kobani is receiving treatment at the Pamukkale University Medical School Hospital.
Rumors that a Turkish national fighting as a commander for the Islamic State of Iraq and the Levant (ISIL) was receiving treatment at the Pamukkale University Medical School Hospital have been confirmed by the Denizli Governor’s office.
Emrah Ç., registered in Malazgirt, in eastern Muş province, had been fighting with ISIL for six months when he was wounded in the calf by a bomb during ISIL’s Kobani offensive against the Kurdish People’s Protection Units (YPG) last year. It is alleged that Emrah Ç. had received treatment at a hospital in the southern city of Antakya earlier.
A statement released by the Pamukkale Governor’s office confirmed that he was receiving medical treatment, “He is employing his right to seek medical treatment available to all citizens.”
The statement added that he had applied to the hospital himself on Feb. 28 and that the relevant legal proceedings had already been initiated by the border province at his entry point, and were still ongoing. Hmmm.......Only EU Tourists to Turkey are charged an arm and a leg for medical treatment while in Turkey, next time just claim you're working for ISIS.
