Obama's BFF Iran criticizes US for backing away about Fordo centrifuges. (Taz).
Head of Iran's Parliament National Security and Foreign Policy Commission, Alaeddin Boroujerdi, criticized the U.S. for backing away about the number of centrifuges in Iran’s Fordo nuclear facility.
Unfortunately, the U.S. backed away from the number of centrifuges in Fordo after the Lausanne statement was signed, Iran’s IRIB quoted Boroujerdi as saying on May 17.
“Any agreement in the nuclear issue is a two-way road,” he said, adding, “If they back away, we will certainly back away, as well.”
Securing national interests is more important than reaching agreement, he said, adding that all the military sites will be certainly exempted from being inspected.
Meanwhile, Head of Iran Atomic Energy Organization Aliakbar Salehi said on April 26 that it is possible that Iran would allow the International Atomic Energy Organization access to non-nuclear sites under conditions.
“If the IAEA would like to inspect non-nuclear sites, they have to first of all tell so to Iran, and then justify why they do so.” Hmmmm......A look at the Iranian twitter feed shows talks are going 'Great'.
