Obama's BFF Iran not to accept permanent measures under nuclear deal. (Taz).
None of the measures anticipated in a possible comprehensive nuclear agreement with the P5+1 will be permanent, Abbas Araqchi, Iran ’s deputy foreign minister said.
The senior Iranian nuclear negotiator made the remarks while reacting to recent comments of the US Deputy Secretary of State Anthony Blinken.
“The deal will not expire,” Blinken addressed the American Jewish Committee’s annual Global Forum on June 8, explaining that the monitoring of nuclear access and protocols and Iran’s obligations to uphold all of the terms of the Non-Proliferation Treaty (NPT) would remain in perpetuity.
Meanwhile Araqchi underlined that the final agreement with the P5+1(the US, UK, France, Russia, China, and Germany) if is achieved will include a certain period, Iran ’s Fars news agency reported June 9.
However the commitments that Iran has accepted based on international treaties such as the NPT will continue until Tehran is a member of the mentioned treaties, Araqchi said.
He further said that the US side’s comments on the issue have domestic use and for satisfying their allies. Hmmm.....Anyone in the world still believing in Hussein Obama's 'guarantees?
