Al-Qaeda Threatens to Assassinate Commander of Iran's Islamic Revolution Guards Corps General Qassem Soleimani.

Al-Qaeda Threatens to Assassinate Commander of Iran's Islamic Revolution Guards Corps General Qassem Soleimani.(Fars).

The Al-Qaeda terrorist organization threatened to assassinate Commander of Iran's Islamic Revolution Guards Corps (IRGC) Quds Force General Qassem Soleimani.

The warning was issued in a statement by the al-Qaeda, in which the terrorist group claimed that it has sent two of its forces to Iran to accomplish the mission.
We will not assassinate the commander of Iran’s Quds Force by gunshots but we intend to kill him by a suicide attack,” the statement claimed.
No al-Qaeda commander or ringleader has yet confirmed the statement.

In Tehran, military analysts believe that such threats and warnings are all nonsense and merely serve psychological operation purposes since the Iranian military commanders are protected by heavy security measures and cannot be reached easily, while the al-Qaeda lacks sophisticated skills, ability and the needed organization in Iran.

Iran is the only regional state, in which the Al-Qaeda has not been able to make any move. The only group said to be affiliated to the terrorist organization was Jundollah which was completely destroyed after a series of operation in Iran's Southeastern border cities. All Jundollah leaders and members, including its No. 1 and 2 Abdolmalik Rigi and his brother, have been arrested, executed or killed in clashes a couple of years ago.

The analyst say that the source of such threats may be the western states which support the al-Qaeda in different regional states, specially in Syria, and are angry at their failure in these countries.

In relevant remarks late October, Lieutenant Commander of the Quds Force Brigadier General Esmayeel Qa'ani said all al-Qaeda-affiliated groups in Syria are supported and protected by the US.

The US has been killing people in our region for the last 13 years under the excuse of finding the al-Qaeda, but now all the terrorist groups in Syria are supervised by the al-Qaeda and supported by the US,” Qa’ani said, addressing a congress in the Central city of Qom at the time.

He rejected any military solution to the crisis in Syria, and said, “Today, all sides, even the US, have come to this conclusion that the Syrian problem needs to be solved through political means.”

Analysts believe that terrorism has spread across the Middle-East ever since the US alleged to be in a war on terrorism.
Iranian officials on many occasions have rapped the US and the West as the main and the biggest sponsors of terrorism, and deplored the West's double-standard policy towards this devilish phenomenon.

Iranian Def Min supplied large numbers of long-range ground-to-ground missile launchers to the Islamic Revolution Guards Corps

Iranian Def Min supplied large numbers of long-range ground-to-ground missile launchers to the Islamic Revolution Guards Corps (IRGC).HT: UskowiOnIran.
According to Fars News Agency:

The Iranian Defense Ministry on Sunday supplied large numbers of long-range ground-to-ground missile launchers to the Islamic Revolution Guards Corps (IRGC).
Addressing the ceremony, Vahidi said that the delivery of such a large number of missile launchers demonstrates the Islamic Republic of Iran's self-sufficiency in designing and building the strategic system and shows the Iranian Armed Forces' massive firepower and their ability to give a crushing response to the enemy.
There had been suggestions that a shortage Transport Erector Launcher (TEL) vehicles might be a limiting factor on Iran's ability to provide adequate chances of survivability for its missile forces in the event of an aggressor first strike. If so, this latest claim indicates an effort to address this need. Additionally, it could suggest or purposely indicate an increase in Iranian MRBM stocks.
Even so, in the above photo provided by Iranian media, slight variations in these TELs are evident, suggesting non-standardization and some level of improvisation, in addition to slight universal changes interpreted as refinements in erector construction.More pictures here at source.More here.

Islamic Revolution Guards Corps (IRGC) Lieutenant Commander: Iran Can Target All Enemy Bases in Region.

Islamic Revolution Guards Corps (IRGC) Lieutenant Commander: Iran Can Target All Enemy Bases in Region.(Fars)."Today, there is no base in the region lying outside the reach of the Iranian missiles," Brigadier General Hossein Salami said, addressing a ceremony held in honor of Martyr Hassan Tehrani Moghaddam, known as the Father of Iran's missile industry. "Wherever you imagine these bases are, they are within the reach of Iranian missiles," Salami reiterated, noting the range, power and high precision-targeting capability of Iran's ground-to-ground, ground-to-air and ballistic missiles. Iran has made giant progress in arms production, specially in area of missile technology, in the last decade. Iran has been pushing an arms development program in recent years in a bid to reach self-sufficiency. Tehran launched its arms development program during the 1980-88 Iraqi imposed war on Iran, to compensate for a US weapons embargo. Since 1992, Iran has produced its own jet fighters and armored vehicles as well as radar-evading missiles and other high-tech weapons. Yet, Iranian officials have always stressed that the country's military and arms programs serve defensive purposes and should not be perceived as a threat to any other country. Each year Iran displays part of its advancements in missile technology, but its Shahab 3 and Sejjil missiles have notably worried the Israeli regime. The liquid-fuel Shahab 3 missile has a range of up to 1,250 miles (2000 kilometers) and is capable of carrying a 1,000-760 kilogram warhead. But Sejjil, which is considered as the third generation of Iran-made long-range missiles, is a solid-fuel, two-stage missile with two engines. It is capable of reaching very high altitudes and therefore has a longer range than that of the Shahab 3 model. The missile has boosted the Islamic republic of Iran's defense capabilities. Yet, western military experts believe that half of Iran's missile capability is still unknown to the West, and that Tehran holds many aces up its sleeve.Hmmmm........Salami says this and that,  to me sounds like a lot of Baloney?Read the full story here.
