- No Surprise Holder Behind Suspension of USS Cole Bomber Case. There should be no surprise that the Obama administration and Attorney General Eric Holder would put terrorists’ “rights” before their victims and the safety of the American people by suspending the trial of Abd al Rahim al Nashiri, mastermind of the USS Cole attack.Holder and the Clinton administration have pandered to terrorists for political gain before. So Cole families, while you press on for justice, remember balance. Remember to cherish the living first, don’t become consumed by the fight, and please never forget that your loved ones would not want you so consumed that your lives are taken too.Obama, Holder, and their terrorist patrons are not worth your lives.Full story here.
- Israel hints Jerusalem compromise in peace talks.Israel's defense minister said on Wednesday the Jewish state would be willing to hand over parts of Jerusalem in peace talks with the Palestinians to be launched by President Barack Obama.A flare-up of violence in the Palestinian West Bank and a deadlock over Jewish settlements there loom as potential deal-breakers for Obama, who will host Israeli and Palestinian leaders for dinner at the White House in Washington.Obama brought Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu and Palestinian President Mahmoud Abbas together for face-to-face negotiations after months of U.S.-mediated indirect talks. But he faces deep skepticism about his chances of success.Defense minister Ehud Barak's rare comments about the need to partition Jerusalem, which is at the heart of the conflict, could signal Netanyahu's willingness to divide the holy city in any final peace deal with Palestinians.Read the full story here.

- Part 2: Axis of evil--the American political Leftwing and Muslim Extremists. In Part 1 of this 2-part series the focus was on the Ground Zero Mosque as an example of an 'axis of evil'--a marriage of convenience of sorts between the American political Leftwing and Muslim extremists. The 2nd part of this explosive examination will focus on the end-game. What is the ultimate goal of this consortium of evil? Why would the American political Leftwing wish to collaborate with some of the most dangerous extremists in the world who promote the oppressive Sharia Law as the antithesis to human liberty? To understand the answers to these questions one must be absolutely certain that it has nothing at all to do with religion--at least from the perspective of the Left. By their very nature the Left is anti-religion.Faith is viewed as an exercise in fantasy--a crutch or prop for 'weak minds and the hopelessly ignorant masses.'Read the whole story here.

- Shocka: Richard Cohen is starting to get it!What the Arab world seems to appreciate is that America will never agree to what the Arab world most wants -- an Islamic state where a Jewish one now exists. This entirely reasonable conclusion is based on what has long been American policy -- not what the State Department wanted but what the American people supported. America has always liked the idea of Israel. The Arab world, for totally understandable reasons, has always hated it. Nothing has changed.Read the whole story here.

- The struggle against jihad. While Muslim parents pack public meetings with pronouncements that 'Islam is a religion of peace,' their sons and daughters are being taught something else.No sooner did news of the Ottawa Terror Plot unfold on national TV, than one could predict the response of Canada's Islamists and their organizations.Across Canada, apologists of the terror suspects repeated the same mantra. The three men arrested were portrayed as "innocent" and the wider Muslim community was positioned as the real victims of the episode. It was as if the Islamist leadership had dusted off the speaking notes from the days of the Toronto 18 trials when leader after leader stood up to claim the young men arrested were framed, not real terrorists.Read the full story here.

- Court rules police can GPS tag your car.The Ninth Circuit Court of Appeals ruled by a narrow margin that without a warrant police can sneak into your driveway at night and stick a GPS tag on your car so they can remotely monitor your travels. The 4th Amendment weeps.Curiously, the case was all about whether or not police had the right to enter the man's driveway to attach the device. A point which is likely to be appealed since there is a longstanding precedent for courts recognizing a person's reasonable expectation of privacy in their homes and in the "curtilage," a legal term meaning the area around the home. Of larger concern is the apparent legality of the police tagging the car if only they'd had the good sense to get it while it was parked outside the Wal-Mart.Read the full story here, and here.
