  • Department of Agriculture Builds a Stonewall Around the Muslim Brotherhood Grants Workshop. We sent an email to the Department of Agriculture yesterday afternoon, asking for confirmation concerning their co-sponsorship (with the Muslim Brotherhood-associated Coordinating Council of Muslim Organizations) of the Tuesday, August 31 special workshop on “direct access” grants and financial assistance, combined with an Iftar dinner with Muslim federal employees. The “direct access” grants workshop was promoted by the Islamic Society of North America (ISNA) to “cut the red tape” with several federal agencies (Homeland Security, Health and Human Services, Agriculture, White House, Education, etc) for 20 invited – but unnamed – Muslim groups, under CCMO’s associated Muslim Brotherhood sponsorship. We received a reply email from the USDA at 3:01 pm with the instructions, “You can feel free to attribute this to ‘a USDA spokesperson.’” The email was not sent from the USDA Center for Faith-Based and Neighborhood Partnerships Director Max Finberg, nor his colleagues Jon Granberg-Michaelson and Julie Curti, to all three of whom we had directed these questions. So much for "Transparency"!Read the rest of the story here.

  • HT:ElderofZion.Blaming the victims: The New York Times' sick coverage.I had not realized how truly sick the New York Times' coverage of the terror attack was. In the very first paragraph:The killing of four Israeli settlers, including a pregnant woman, in the West Bank on Tuesday evening rattled Israeli and Palestinian leaders on the eve of peace talks in Washington and underscored the disruptive role that the issue of Jewish settlements could play in the already fragile negotiations. The New York Times is agreeing with Hamas - Jews living on their historic homeland are the main evil in the Middle East, and this terror attack highlights the "disruptive role" of their communities.Read the full story here.

  • Jewish teacher suspended in France for teaching 'too much' about Holocaust.A high school history teacher is accused of 'brainwashing' her students, says French news agency AFP.A French history teacher in Nancy, France, has been suspended for breaching the principle of secularism and neutrality after the French education ministry concluded that she was teaching "too much" about the Holocaust and spending too much time organizing trips for her students to Nazi death camps in Poland and the Czech Republic. The principle of secularism and neutrality in France is meant to protect the separation of church and state. The ministry's report cites that in meeting with investigators, the teacher used the word "Holocaust" 14 times while using the more neutral term "massacre" only twice.Hmmm perhaps they should say "It was a terrible misunderstanding between Jews and Nazis?since the truth can't be said."Read the full story here.

The Times is delivered into the mailboxes of every Senator and Congressman in Washington. While the column does not officially represent the editorial board of the newspaper, the fact that WT chose to publish it may indicate the official stance of its publisher and ownership, given that the columnist is one of a select few staff editorialists for the paper, and each column written by staff must have prior approval of the WT brass. In the stunning opinion-piece, columnist Jeffrey T. Kuhner stated the following:"President Obama has engaged in numerous high crimes and misdemeanors. The Democratic majority in Congress is in peril as Americans reject his agenda.
