Japan's plan to sell nuclear technology to Turkey allows uranium enrichment.(UPI).

A Japanese agreement to export nuclear technology to Turkey raises questions about its possible use for nuclear weapons, opposition parties say.

The agreement, signed in May, includes a provision that the technology can only be used for power generation, the Asahi Shimbun reported. But it also allows Turkey to carry out uranium enrichment and plutonium extraction, potentially creating nuclear material for weapons.Read the full story here.
