More than three weeks it is impossible to establish the whereabouts of Zareta Zubairaeva, 25, a resident of Grozny, and her four children, her husband Azamat has reported. 

According to his story, his wife has secretly gone abroad. Turkish law enforcers take part in the search, as they believe that Zubairaeva had been recruited by militants.

Azamat said that Zareta stopped answering telephone calls on August 29. In search of his wife and children, he came to Turkey and is still there.

He stressed that he had no suspicions that his wife was interested in radical Islam.

Law enforcers told him that Zareta had been in correspondence with the recruiter for about a year.

Interesting detail is that two of their children were born in France which leads to the conclusion that she traveled often to France.

The "Caucasian Knot" correspondent reports that a story about the search for Zubairaeva was shown, in particular, in the news programme of the Turkish NTV-Turkey Channel.

More than 260 people who are engaged abroad in plotting terror acts in Russia and other countries are put on the international wanted list. Besides, in Russia, the secret services watch more than 220 potential pseudo suicide bombers. This was reported by Alexander Bortnikov, the chief of the Russian FSB.

The "Caucasian Knot" has reported that according to Alexander Bortnikov, in 2015, 156 militants were neutralized in Russia. Experts suggest that the most influential leaders of the "Islamic State" (IS) in Russia are still alive.

Today, at the opening of the 15th meeting of heads of secret services, security agencies and law enforcement bodies, Alexander Bortnikov has noted that Russia is engaged in activities for international search for the persons, involved in plotting and carrying out terror acts.

Among the problems faced by the law enforcement bodies of different countries, Alexander Bortnikov has mentioned glorification of suicide bombers and creation of their image as martyrs, the "Rossiyskaya Gazeta" reports.

Besides, according to the chief of the Russian FSB, a serious problem is the use of the Internet for dissemination of the ideas of aggression. Alexander Bortnikov has called on to solve the problem of anonymity and lack of control on the Internet.


In 2015, according to Alexander Bortnikov, in the Russian Federation, law enforcers identified 2900 people suspected of involvement in terrorist activities in Afghanistan, Syria, and Iraq.

The organization "Islamic State" (IS), banned in Russia, has announced the mobilization of militants from Azerbaijan, Georgia, and Northern Caucasus for the preparation of new terror acts. This was reported by the newspaper "Milliyet" with reference to the Turkish secret services.

The "Caucasian Knot" has reported that on June 28, a terror act was committed at the Istanbul airport. As a result, 45 people were killed, and more than 200 others were injured. 


The IS considers mainly Western Europe and Turkey as a target for the new wave of terror acts, the "Milliyet" reports.

In particular, the General Department of the Turkish Police and the Turkish secret services have got the information that within preparation for terror acts, a group of about 25 IS militants expects to be transferred to Turkey via Azerbaijan, Georgia, and Cyprus.

Starting from June, in Turkey, the secret services and the police are working in enhanced mode.

Iraq: ISIL sources claim Omar al-Shishani killed in air strike. (AlJazeera).

Omar al-Shishani, a top commander of the Islamic State of Iraq and the Levant (ISIL), has been killed in Iraq, a website affiliated with the armed group said.

Citing a "military source", ISIL's website on Wednesday said that Shishani was killed "in the town of Sharqat as he took part in repelling the military campaign on the city of Mosul".

Amaq, the ISIL-linked website, did not specify when Shishani was killed, but the loss of the commander is a significant blow to the group, which has suffered a string of setbacks in Iraq this year.
