Obama 'admin' facilitates “Family Units” Entering US Via Mexico up 50%, Unaccompanied Minors Up 52%. HT JudicialWatch.
While the nation is absorbed with presidential election theatrics, the Obama administration continues letting huge amounts of illegal immigrants to pour in through the southern border and the latest figures released by the Department of Homeland Security (DHS) are incredibly chilling.
The number of family units apprehended by the U.S. Border Patrol in the first 11 months of fiscal year 2016 nearly doubled from the previous year, according to updated information released by the agency. The majority of these illegal border crossers will remain in the country under Obama’s special refugee and family reunification programs.
Minors, classified as Unaccompanied Alien Children (UAC), are also entering in droves, the DHS numbers reveal, with a 52% increase in apprehensions this fiscal year compared to 2015. Read the full story here.

Obama to grant amnesty to as many illegal immigrants as possible before he leaves office.
Obama to Protect Illegal Aliens Based on “Accrual of Unlawful Presence” in U.S.. (Judicial Watch).
Three years after the Obama administration quietly rewarded illegal immigrants with “unlawful presence waivers” it has a new plan in the works to shield them from deportation based on the “accrual of unlawful presence” in the United States.
That’s right; illegal aliens with the longest record of violating our laws will be rewarded by our government, according to the proposed plan obtained by Judicial Watch this month from the Department of Homeland Security (DHS). It’s all part of the president’s mission to grant amnesty to as many illegal immigrants as possible before he leaves office. This includes special executive programs created to help illegal aliens brought to the U.S. as children and “family reunification” measures that shield relatives and spouses of a broad range of immigrants.
The latest amnesty measure—based on accrual of unlawful presence—further relaxes the rule and drastically expands the pool of eligible candidates by, among other things, eliminating the requirement that applicants must be relatives of U.S. citizens. Read the full story here.

What made a Federal Judge Temporarily Halting Obama’s Amnesty Plan.
What made a Federal Judge Temporarily Halting Obama’s Amnesty Plan. (Heritage).
The 26 states that sued President Obama over his unilateral amnesty plan for illegal aliens won a major battle on Monday when a federal judge issued a temporary injunction against the plan’s implementation. In a fitting bit of irony, the order was issued on President’s Day, a day when we remember the great men who fulfilled their duties as heads of the second branch of government.
In his order, Judge Andrew Hanen enjoined Jeh Johnson, secretary of the Department of Homeland Security, from implementing “any and all aspects or phases of the Deferred Action for Parents of Americans and Lawful Permanent Residents ‘DAPA’) program as set out” by Johnson in his Nov. 20, 2014 memorandum that executed the president’s announced plan. In other words, the Obama administration can no longer implement the executive actions Obama took on immigration.
Hanen’s lengthy opinion provides an extensive, well-researched, well-written review of the history of the Obama administration’s actions in the immigration area and points out the many problems caused by its lack of enforcement and overriding of federal immigration law.
Hanen agrees that Homeland Security does have discretion “in the manner in which it chooses to fulfill the expressed will of Congress” in federal immigration law.
But it cannot “enact a program whereby it not only ignores the dictates of Congress, but actively acts to thwart them.” In fact, the Homeland Security secretary “is not just rewriting the laws; he is creating them from scratch.”The states don’t disagree that the federal government has exclusive jurisdiction over immigration, but they argue “that the Government has abandoned its duty to enforce the law.” Hanen concludes that “this assertion cannot be disputed.” Read the full story here.

'The Case of the non existing Amnesty Order ?' - Obama never signed amnesty order.
'The Case of the non existing Amnesty Order?' - Obama never signed amnesty order. (WND).
Today the National Archives and Records Administration, responsible for such maintaining such filings, said no such executive order was ever signed or filed, confirming WND’s report Wednesday.
A National Archives librarian, Jeffrey Hartley, made the confirmation in an email Thursday to WND.
“As I indicated, it would appear that there is not an Executive Order stemming from the President’s remarks on November 20 on immigration,” Hartley wrote.
Hartley said that neither of the executive orders Obama signed in Las Vegas the day after his announcement fulfill his plan to defer deportations and grant work permits to up to 5 million illegal aliens.
“The only two documents that I have located are two Presidential Memoranda, which are available from the White House site,” Hartley’s email continued. “They can also be found in the November 26, 2014 issue of the Federal Register.”
The two documents Hartley referenced were the two executive orders Obama signed in Las Vegas Nov. 21.
One was a presidential proclamation creating a White House Task Force on New Americans and the other a presidential memorandum instructing the secretaries of State and Homeland Security to consult with various governmental and non-governmental entities to reduce costs and improve service in issuing immigrant and non-immigrant visas. Obama 'Admin' Seeks Extra $1.4 Billion to Deal with Flood of Illegal Unaccompanied Children.
Obama 'Admin' Seeks Extra $1.4 Billion to Deal with Flood of Illegal Unaccompanied Children. HT: CNSNews.
Pres. Obama is seeking an additional $1.4 billion to deal with the flood of Unaccompanied Alien Children (UAC) into the U.S., a Congressional Research Service report reveals.
Obama's FY2015 budget did not originally seek an increase in UAC funding for government agencies - but, on May 30, the administration nearly tripled its UAC budget request for the Office of Refugee Resettlement (ORR) by asking for an additional $1.4 billion:
In the President's FY2015 budget for the various agencies responsible for the UAC population (i.e., specifically in HHS/ORR and DHS budgets), there wasn't a request for funding increases to help address what has been characterized as a strain on agency resources.
The FY2015 President's budget request for the HHS/ORR program was originally $868 million, which is the same amount that was appropriated in FY2014. However, on May 30, 2014, the Office of Management and Budget updated its cost projections related to the UAC crisis and requested a total of $2.28 billion for FY2015 for the UAC program in the Office of Refugee Resettlement.
In response, the Senate Committee on Appropriations Subcommittee on Labor, Health, and Human Services, and Education and Related Agencies, recommended $1.94 billion, which is $34 million less than the Administration's amended request - but, still more than $1 billion increase over FY2014 levels - in its FY2015 draft appropriations bill on June 10, 2014.Read the full story here.
