"FoodStamp Presidency Voters" in despair, without Electricity, New Yorkers on Food Stamps Can’t Pay for Food.(CL).It’s been more than three days since power went out in many parts of New York City, including the Lower East Side where multi-story public housing complexes like the La Guardia Houses don’t have electricity, heat or water. Many of the residents are also without food. Many of the low-income residents receive cash and supplemental nutritional assistance from the state electronically through what the New York State Office of Temporary and Disability Assistance calls Electronic Benefit Cards (EBT.)
Recipients buying eligible foods are suppose to swipe their EBT cards like any other credit card for their purchases but since Hurricane Sandy hit, most Lower East Side stores don’t have electricity to run credit card transactions and are only accepting cash. Leaving many people on EBT with empty wallets, empty refrigerators and no access to food. “The supermarkets don’t even really want to sell anything. They’re open but if you don’t have cash, you messed up. And everybody in these projects, they take EBT…food stamps,” a La Guardia Houses resident told WNYC’s Marianne McCune. Video - New Film Exposes Muslim Brotherhood "Deception" in U.S.(CS).The Investigative Project on Terrorism has released a new film exposing the activities of the Muslim Brotherhood inside the United States and how its front groups and sympathizers intimidate the major media and Hollywood.

The Muslim Brotherhood, now in charge of the Egyptian government and making major advances throughout the Middle East, was established in 1928 and is considered by experts to be the parent organization of terrorist groups such as al-Qaeda and Hamas.

Coming just days before the November 6 presidential election, the film, titled “Jihad in America: The Grand Deception,” highlights a problem of subversion in the U.S. that both major political party candidates, Barack Obama and Mitt Romney, have not been asked by the media to address. Investigative Project on Terrorism executive director Steven Emerson, himself the target of death threats because of his work over the course of decades exposing Islamic extremist networks, spoke at a panel discussion in Washington, D.C. on Thursday, October 25th, that was attended by Accuracy in Media. 
We also reviewed an advance copy of the film.
Several years in the making, the film describes how Muslim Brotherhood fronts, such as the Council on American-Islamic Relations (CAIR), have pursued a strategy described in secret documents as the “Civilization-Jihadist Process” of destroying Western civilization from within and making America into an Islamic state.
The film includes FBI wiretaps of Islamists in the U.S. disguising their support of terrorist groups like Hamas and declaring, “Politics, like war, is deception.”In addition to secret wiretaps and videos of Muslim Brotherhood activities, the film includes newly declassified documents and interviews with law enforcement officials, prosecutors, and journalists.Although the film suggests the Muslim Brotherhood front groups are operating as illegal agents of a foreign power, there is more at stake than just subversion. The film contends that the Muslim Brotherhood is directly involved in radicalizing American Muslims who then carry out terrorist missions.Read the full story here.

Billy Graham has posted a new prayer letter on his website where he addresses the people of the nation and tells them he is very much afraid of the damage that the American lifestyle is doing in the eyes of the Lord. The 93-year-old evangelist begins his letter by recalling an incident a few years ago when his wife, Ruth, who has since passed away, remarked that "If God doesn't punish America, He'll have to apologize to Sodom and Gomorrah," referring to the cities in the Old Testament destroyed for the sinful nature of their residents.
"I wonder what Ruth would think of America if she were alive today. In the years since she made that remark, millions of babies have been aborted and our nation seems largely unconcerned. Self-centered indulgence, pride, and a lack of shame over sin are now emblems of the American lifestyle," Graham remarks.
The pastor then goes on to refer to several other incidents in recent times where he sees the American government and American society as a whole coming down on Christians – including instances where chaplains who serve the police department have been told to no longer say the name of Jesus during prayer.
 "Our society strives to avoid any possibility of offending anyone – except God," Graham says. "Yet the farther we get from God, the more the world spirals out of control." "My heart aches for America and its deceived people," Graham continues. "The wonderful news is that our Lord is a God of mercy, and He responds to repentance. In Jonah's day, Nineveh was the lone world superpower – wealthy, unconcerned, and self-centered. Obama's real record on Israel.(FOX).By Anne Bayefsky.During the final debate, President Obama pointed to his 2008 pre-election visit to Israel’s Holocaust memorial, Yad Vashem, as an answer to Governor Romney’s criticism of his foreign policy on Israel. That same stop was made by over a million visitors and hundreds of world leaders and dignitaries the same year. Invoking it as a means to establish the President’s pro-Israel credentials is an insult to the intelligence of voters who care about the welfare of the Jewish state. The president’s move is reminiscent of a similar game played by the United Nations. The organization trashes the state of Israel 364 days a year, and pauses on the anniversary of the liberation of the Auschwitz concentration camp on January 27th for an “International Day of Commemoration.” Undoubtedly, keeping the memory of the Holocaust alive is a service not only to Jews but to anyone interested in preserving and protecting universal human rights and freedoms.

Just a partial rap-sheet speaks for itself.

• President Obama has never visited Israel during his time in office, despite having been as close as thirty minutes away in Egypt, and managing to go to Saudi Arabia, Turkey and Iraq.
• President Obama told Jewish leaders in July 2009 that he was deliberately adopting a policy of putting daylight between America and Israel.
• President Obama has legitimized the UN body most responsible for demonizing Israel as the world’s worst human rights violator. The president joined the UN Human Rights Council in 2009 and is now seeking a second 3-year term, despite Israel’s requests that he do the opposite.
• President Obama made Israeli settlements the key stumbling block in the Palestinian-Israeli conflict. Starting in 2009 he chose to castigate Israel publicly, often, and in extreme terms at the General Assembly and the Security Council. The Palestinians took the president’s cue and ended direct negotiations until such time as Israel capitulates, even though the subject is supposed to be a final status issue.
• President Obama treated Israel’s Prime Minister to a series of insulting snubs during his visit to the White House in March 2010.
• President Obama cut a deal with Islamic states at a May 2010 meeting of parties to the nuclear non-proliferation treaty, contrary to assurances given to Israel. He agreed to help convene a 2012 international conference intended to pivot attention towards disarming Israel and is currently negotiating the details of this diplomatic onslaught.
• President Obama introduced in his September 2010 address to the General Assembly, a September 2011 timeline for full Palestinian statehood and membership in the UN, thus encouraging Palestinians to push the same unilateral move.
• President Obama suggested in May 2011 that Israel use the 1967 borders as a starting point for negotiations – knowing full well that Israel considers those borders to be indefensible, and that agreements require the border issue to be determined by the parties themselves.
• President Obama asked Congress in February 2012 to waive a ban on American funding of UNESCO. The ban had been imposed following UNESCO’s recognition of Palestinian statehood and was consistent with U.S. law denying funding for any international organization that recognized Palestinian statehood in the absence of a peace agreement with Israel.
• President Obama has indeed put daylight between American and Israeli policy on Iran.

And Mr. Obama’s tocsin is the comprehensive assertion that: “Experts agree that my plan will reduce the deficit by $4-trillion.” These magic 13 words confirm the reduction of the deficit from $1.5-trillion annually to $1.1-trillion annually in the next ten years, in a country that four years ago had a money supply of only $900-billion.
About 70% of the American deficit is “bought” directly or through the banking system by the Treasury’s 100% subsidiary, the Federal Reserve, and the minimal interest paid on it is recycled back through the Federal Reserve to the Treasury, so the cost of borrowing is zero. It is the ultimate Ponzi scheme, the fiscal nirvana of endless, mountainous debt, rendered easily bearable because it doesn’t cost anything. It is a fraud, a mirage. It all possesses the hypnotic allure of the Gotterdammerung — as the Gods ascend to a burning Valhalla.

The administration of President Barack Obama seeks to cut the amount of money Israel receives for its missile defense systems in 2013 by $6.3 million relative to the 2012 budget proposal, according to a report in the Washington Free Beacon.
According to the report, the administration requested $121.7 million in military aid for Israel’s missile defense programs in 2011. That number dropped to $106.1 million in the 2012 budget proposal, and is down to $99.8 million in Obama’s newly released 2013 proposal.

The administration of President Barack Obama has approved the delivery of the Harpoon Block 2 missile to Egypt. Industry sources said Egypt would receive the advanced Harpoon over the next few months under the Foreign Military Sales program.“This will significantly enhance Egypt’s offensive naval capability,” a source said. On June 29, the Defense Department awarded Boeing a $145.1 million contract for nearly 90 Harpoon missiles, one of the most advanced anti-ship cruise missiles in the world. The order was meant for the U.S. Navy as well as four foreign militaries. “The first missile deliveries are scheduled for this August and contract work is expected to run through December 2013,” Boeing said on July 19. The sources said Egypt was slated to receive the Block 2 missile, which contains land-attack capability. They said Harpoon would be equipped on the new fleet of at least four U.S.-origin fast missile craft for the Egyptian Navy. The vessels were identified as the Ambassador Mk-3, produced by VT Halter Marine. In October 2011, VT dedicated the first FMC for the Egyptian Navy. Executives said the 62-meter vessel had been scheduled for delivery in mid-2012. The Harpoon project for Egypt has been delayed for more than five years amid the suspension of FAC production. The sources said Israel raised concern that the Block 2 Harpoon would change the military balance with Egypt.

The Defense Security Cooperation Agency notified Congress today of a possible Foreign Military Sale to the Government of the Kingdom of Morocco for enhancement and refurbishment of 200 M1A1 Abrams tanks and associated parts, equipment, logistical support and training for an estimated cost of $1.015 billion. The Government of the Kingdom of Morocco has requested a possible enhancement and refurbishment of 200 M1A1 Abrams tanks, provided as part of a grant Excess Defense Article (EDA) transfer notified to Congress on 27 April 2011, to the M1A1 Special Armor (SA) configuration.
The possible sale will also provide 150 AN/VRC-87E and 50 AN/VRC-89E Exportable Single Channel Ground and Airborne Radio Systems (SINCGARS), 200 M2 Chrysler Mount Machine Guns, and 400 7.62MM M240 Machine Guns. The possible sale also includes 12,049,842 Ammunition Rounds (including 1400 C785 SABOT, 1800 CA31 HEAT, and 5400 AA38 SLAP-T), 200 M250 Smoke Grenade Launchers, support equipment, spare and repair parts, personnel training and training equipment, publications and technical data, communication support, U.S. Government and contractor technical assistance, and other related logistics support. The estimated cost is $1.015 billion. This proposed sale will contribute to the foreign policy and national security of the United States by helping to improve the security of a major Non-NATO ally that continues to be an important force for political stability and economic progress in Africa.

Obama administration approves sale of tanks to Egypt. The Defense Security Cooperation Agency has informed Congress that it has approved the sale of 125 M1A1 Abrams Tanks to the government of Egypt. According to the DSCA website.Something smells fishy. Selling tanks to Egypt at this moment in time is not unlike pouring gasoline on a forest fire. Is there any reason to believe that the present Egyptian government can be relied upon? Is there any reason to believe that the future government of Egypt can be trusted? On Friday there was yet another round of anti-government protests in Egypt. Earlier this week Ahmed Ezz al-Arab who leads Wafd (Egypt's largest secular party) revealed his full-on hatred for Israel and the Jewish people. Al-Arab sounded like an Ahmadinejad clone as he spewed his Holocaust denial rhetoric and claimed that 9-11 was made in the U.S.A. The most likely party to gain control of Egypt, the Muslim Brotherhood has been linked to numerous terrorist organizations and has the objective of ending the peace treaty with Israel. This all begs the question of why Mr. Obama and Mrs. Clinton would be interested in selling tanks to such an unstable nation which is a powder keg of anti-Israeli ambitions. The Jerusalem Post reports: The Pentagon told Congress - which has 30 days to object to the deal - that the sale of tanks would "contribute to the foreign policy and national security of the United States by helping to improve the security of a friendly country that has been and continues to be an important force for political stability and economic progress in the Middle East."

The Pentagon further stated that the new tanks would "provide Egypt with a modern tank fleet, enhancing its capacity to meet current and future threats." With mountains of evidence all pointing towards the victory of forces that are openly hostile to our most valued Israeli allies, it would appear that Mr. Obama, Mrs. Clinton and the DOD are either blind to the situation in the Middle East or are intentionally threatening Israel. 

How much influence does Huma Abedin have with Mrs. Clinton? Ms. Adedin's (aka Mrs. Weiner) mother and brother have been linked to the Muslim Brotherhood in an American Thinker article last month. Will Congress step up to the plate and stop this sale? Mr. Boehner where do you stand? The $1.32bn foreign military sale of an additional 125 M1A1 tanks, which would bring the country's fleet to 1,005 M1A1 tanks.

And last : US reduces participation level in military exercise with Israel.The Pentagon has decided to reduce the number of US troops taking part in a joint military exercise with Israel planned for this month, Time magazine reported on Friday. The number of the troops expected to take part in the manoeuvres, which were postponed seven months ago, has been reduced by 60 per cent. Instead of around 5,000 troops originally assigned to "Austere Challenge 12", Washington will send just 1,500 soldiers and perhaps as few as 1,200, the magazine claimed. Troops aren't the only US participation being reduced: Patriot anti-missile systems will arrive in Israel as planned, but the crews to operate them will not, added the report. Instead of two Aegis Ballistic Missile Defense warships being dispatched to Israeli waters, the new plan is to send one, though even the remaining vessel is listed as a "maybe," officials in both militaries told the magazine.Meanwhile, Israeli newspaper Yedioth Ahronoth reported that a senior member of the Israeli political-security cabinet said of the Pentagon's decision, "This is the Obama administration's response to the dinner party Netanyahu held in (Mitt) Romney's honour."

The percent of contiguous U.S. land area experiencing exceptional drought in July reached the highest levels in the history of the U.S. Drought Monitor, said an official at the National Drought Mitigation Center at the University of Nebraska-Lincoln. Nearly 12 percent of the contiguous United States fell into the "exceptional" classification, according to the report. “That level of exceptional drought had never before been seen in the monitor's 12-year history,” said Brian Fuchs, University of Nebraska assistant geoscientist. Eighteen percent of the country is classified as under either extreme or exceptional drought, Fuchs said. The extreme dry, hot conditions in the nation’s mid-section are driving up corn and soybean prices to record or near-record levels. The July CME soybean contract was trading at record highs hitting $16.28 per bushel Thursday at 2:00 CDT. Corn was at $7.75 per bushel. Both the number of record highs in the past week, and the areas with record and near-record dryness over the last 1 to 3 months, are numerous. Daily high temperatures averaged above 100 degrees in the central and upper southern Plains, extending eastward into parts of Missouri and Arkansas, and average temperatures for the week were 8 degrees to 15 degrees above normal from the Ohio Valley and upper Southeast westward through most of the High Plains. The dryness is beginning to take a significant toll on some of the nation’s crops, pastures, and rangelands. In the primary growing states for corn and soybeans (18 each), 22 percent of the crop is in poor or very poor condition, as are 43 percent of the pastures and rangelands and 24 percent of the sorghum crop. In addition, the area scorched by wildfires expanded significantly.
