Video - Verses in Koran that say Land of Israel belongs to the Jews

Related: Expert: ‘Even the Koran Claims Israel Belongs to the Jews’

Dana noted that top Islamic figures, such as Sheikh Yusuf Al Qaradawi, have embarked on a fierce campaign to separate the Jewish people from their rightful homeland and claim that Muslims have a sacred right to the Land of Israel.

However, Professor Dana noted, Al Qaradawi’s efforts defy the Koran itself. Israel is mentioned eight times, according to the Professor, and there is not a single mention that it belongs to Arabs or Muslims.
Whenever there is a reference to the Land of Israel and to whom it belongs, the Koran points to the Jewish people,” Professor Dana explained.
Dana pointed to Koran 7:7, where G-d Himself bequeaths the Land of Israel to the Jews, as a nation who thought themselves weak, and blesses them with goodness.

Archaeologists Reportedly Uncover Site Where Trial of Jesus Took Place.

Archaeologists Reportedly Uncover Site Where Trial of Jesus Took Place. (SP).

Archaeologists in Jerusalem have reportedly uncovered the remains of the palace of Herod the Great, believed to be a place where the trial of Jesus took place, the Washington Post reports.

The Tower of David Museum, located in Jerusalem’s Old City, began excavations over a decade ago in the adjacent building, which was used as a prison in the Ottoman occupation era. The museum now offers tours to the prison, referred to as the Kishle.

"For two years we excavated this by hand. We dismantled the prison cells but preserved the English, Arabic and Hebrew graffiti that the prisoners had carved," said Amit Re’em, the Jerusalem district archeologist from the Antiquities Authority, as quoted by the Jerusalem Post.

There are two dominant theories. According to one, Jesus was tried at a military encampment. This makes the Antonia Fortress, located near the Temple Mount, a likely site. According to the other, the trial took place at the Herod’s palace, which many believe was located where the museum now stands.

According to the Gospel of John, the trial took place near a gate and on a bumpy stone pavement. Such a description matches archeological findings near the Kishle. "There is, of course, no inscription stating it happened here, but everything — archaeological, historical and gospel accounts — all falls into place and makes sense," said Shimon Gibson, an archaeology professor at the University of North Carolina, as quoted by the Washington Post.

PA Foreign Ministry libel: Israel plans to destroy the Al-Aqsa Mosque.

PA Foreign Ministry libel: Israel plans to destroy the Al-Aqsa Mosque. HT: Palwatch.
PA Foreign Ministry libel:  Israel plans to destroy the Al-Aqsa Mosqueand build the Temple in its place

PA Islamic-Christian Council for Jerusalem calls Jewish prayer on the Temple Mount as an "assault [on] the Al-Aqsa Mosque"
by Itamar Marcus

The Palestinian Authority is continuing to spread the libel that Israel is planning to destroy the Al-Aqsa Mosque to build a Temple in its place. The following is the recent example, by the PA Ministry of Foreign Affairs:

"The PA Ministry of Foreign Affairs strongly condemned Israel's escalation against civilians, their property and holy sites... The Ministry disclosed that for more than two years it informed all Muslims and Arabs, at an official and public level about the nature of the Judaization plan at the Al-Aqsa Mosque (i.e., the Temple Mount Plaza)... The Israeli government has been carrying out this plan on a daily basis and that the rate of escalation and repression against Al-Aqsa is increasing... towards dividing it (the Temple Mount) geographically and [allocating prayer for different religions] according to time, destroying it and building what is referred to as 'the Temple' in its place."
[Al-Hayat Al-Jadida, April 14, 2014]
"Secretary-General of the [PA's] Islamic-Christian Council for Jerusalem and the Holy Places Hana Issa... noted that lately, ongoing calls have been made by the extreme right to enlist a large number of settlers to assault the Al-Aqsa Mosque in order to perform their Talmudic rituals in it (PA euphemism for Jews praying). He emphasized that '... The aim of these attacks is to build the alleged Temple on the ruins of the Al-Aqsa Mosque and the expropriation of the sovereignty of these holy sites from the Arabs and Muslims.'"

Mordechai Kedar challenges Binyamin Netanyahu: Does 'Bibi' really have the guts to stand up to Obama? Or is he all bluff?

Mordechai Kedar challenges Binyamin Netanyahu: Does 'Bibi' really have the guts to stand up to Obama? Or is he all bluff? HT: IsraelMatzav.(JPost).

Kedar does so using the example of Egypt, where army chief Abdel Fattah al-Sisi has forced US President Hussein Obama to blink and meekly accept the fact that Mohammed Morsy and the Muslim Brotherhood are not coming back - to power or otherwise - for the foreseeable future.

In fact, argues Kedar, Sisi could have Morsy executed (after a 'trial' of course), and there is nothing Obama can do about it. If Sisi can stand up to Obama, argues Kedar, so can 'Bibi'
The events in Egypt prove that Obama and his team of aides are helpless against the determination of Middle Eastern countries. That’s how it is with Iran, with Iraq and with Syria. They can not enter into a confrontation with governments that are determined and firm in their positions, and ultimately Obama accepts the decisions of Middle East regimes, even if he does not agree with them.

What Netanyahu can and must conclude is that it is not at all necessary to come to an agreement with the Palestinians. Kerry can come again and again, can raise a thousand and one ideas, but cannot take away the Jewish people’s right to the Land of Israel, that was granted to it thousands of years ago, and again in 1920 in the San Remo Conference.

Obama and Kerry cannot assure Israel that a Palestinian state with territorial contiguity would not at some point become another Hamas state like that which arose six-and-a-half years ago in the Gaza Strip, and therefore Israel must relate to their demands exactly as Sisi relates to them.

Giving in does not lead to agreement, but rather to determination. Israel must do what Israeli interests – not American interests – dictate, and in this phase of history Israel’s immediate interest is to bring the Palestinian Authority to an end, and to continue what Hamas began: to establish the Palestinian Emirates on the ruins of the PA, based on the Arab cities in Judea and Samaria. Israel must maintain forever the rural expanse and offer Israeli citizenship to its residents.

A Palestinian terror state with territorial contiguity would be an existential threat to Israel, and therefore Israel should assert its right – it can and must say to Obama and Kerry: No! If Netanyahu is as determined as is Sisi, he will succeed against Obama and Kerry, exactly as Sisi has.
If only Netanyahu can find the backbone to take Kedar's advice.Read the full story here.

Hackers deface Google Palestine, demand Israel removed from maps.

Hackers deface Google Palestine, demand Israel removed from maps.HT: RussiaToday.
Google.ps – which has since returned to its usual look – was reportedly suspended Tuesday following the attack.
Earlier, at the defaced website, renamed by hackers “Google Owned,” their statement was posted, reading: “uncle google we say hi from palestine to remember you that the country in google map not called israel. its called Palestine. (Original spelling preserved.)
The hackers also posted a Google Map image that showed Israeli borders, the West Bank and Gaza, but does not outline Palestinian territory. It was not entirely clear why, given that Google had created a domain for Palestine in 2009.
The screenshot was accompanied with the following: “#Question : what would happens if we changed the country title of Isreal to Palestine in google maps !!! it would be revolution.”
So Listen to rihanna and be cool :P,” concluded the hackers, who signed their statement as users Dod, Hij@ker, alzher, Mr_AnarShi-T, and toxico-dz.
Google officials said that their own servers were not hacked. Instead, Google’s Palestinian domain was hijacked, redirecting web-surfers to another Internet site.
There was an issue with the DNS registry in Palestine. As a result, some users going to google.com.ps and a few other web addresses were redirected to a different website. This issue appears to be resolved,” Al Arabiya quoted Ramy Kandil, Google’s public relations executive in the Middle East and North Africa, as saying.
According to ZDNet, after the successful DNS hijacking attempt, the search engine’s home page was redirected to a Morocco-based server. The tech news outlet also stated that they checked the Palestinian top-level domain provider with the WHOIS service and it confirmed that Google.ps remained under the ownership of Google US in Mountain View, California.
In May, Google stirred controversy when it changed the regional search page name from “Palestinian Territories” to “Palestine.” The move was condemned by Israeli officials.

Last November, the UN General Assembly upgraded the status of its Palestinian mission to that of “non-member observer state.

Hamas: Palestinians to state their position on Obama's planned visit to the Al-Aqsa Mosque.

Hamas: Palestinians to state their position on Obama's planned visit to the Al-Aqsa Mosque. (IMRA).Al Qassam website- Occupied Jerusalem- Noted Palestinian figures declared their intention to hold a news conference on Sunday before afternoon in the Palestinian national theater in occupied Jerusalem to state their position towards the upcoming visit of US president Barack Obama to the Aqsa Mosque.

A number of religious and national figures, including head of the higher Islamic council Ikrima Sabri and head of the Islamic Movement in the 1948 occupied lands Sheikh Ra'ed Salah, will participate in this news conference.

"It is known that we have our constants as Muslims, Arabs and Palestinians regarding the issue of Jerusalem and the Aqsa Mosque, and we confirm that Jerusalem and the Aqsa Mosque are under occupation, which has no sovereignty or legitimacy over them and will inevitably end," the Aqsa foundation quoted Sheikh Ra'ed Salah as saying.

"The US president is likely to visit the Aqsa Mosque, but we should affirm that our position towards such situation will be in conformity with the constants of the Muslim and Arab nations, and the Palestinian people as well as with the issue of Jerusalem and the Aqsa Mosque," he added.

For his part, Sheikh Ikrima Sabri said that the Palestinians would welcome any visitor to the Aqsa Mosque, provided that he should abide by the regulations set by the Islamic Waqf authority.

Sheikh Sabri explained that if Obama wanted to visit the Aqsa Mosque, he should enter through Al-Asbat gate and not Al-Maghariba gate under Israel's control in order to show his respect for the Islamic sovereignty over the Mosque.

He added that Obama should not be accompanied by an Israeli official during his visit to the holy Mosque because it belongs to Muslims and it is their holy site alone.Read the full story here.

Israel's response to the 'human rights council: 'NUTS'.

Israel's response to the 'human rights council: 'NUTS'.HT: IsraelMatzav.Earlier on Thursday, the United Nations 'human rights council' continued its war on Israel by releasing a report that threatened to take the Jewish state to the International Criminal Court due to its 'settlement policies.' The response was not long in coming.

This evening, Leftist Defense Minister Ehud Barak (who may yet be the ambassador to the United States in a few months) announced the approval of 346 new housing units in Nokdim and Tekoa. Although both towns are part of the Etzion bloc, they also fall outside the 'security fence,' which many believed would be Israel's bottom line position in any permanent status arrangement with the 'Palestinians.' Now, it appears we're going to allow towns and villages outside the fence to build new houses.

The plans for 200 new homes in Tekoa and 146 in Nokdim were pushed forward a few weeks ago, but he and the council only publicized the information on Thursday, he said.

The news broke at the same time that the UN Human Rights Council lifted its embargo on a report condemning Israeli settlement building and calling on Israel to withdraw from the West Bank.

Israel considers Gush Etzion to be a settlement bloc that will remain part of the country in any final-status agreement with the Palestinians for a two-state solution.

But the Nokdim and Tekoa settlements are located in the eastern part of that region, outside the boundaries of the security barrier. Somewhere in Heaven, Yitzchak Shamir (whom the Americans complained would unveil a new 'settlement' every time James Baker came to visit) is cheering.Read the full story here.

Netanyahu: Kotel will Remain Jewish Forever.

Netanyahu: Kotel will Remain Jewish Forever.(INN).Prime Minister Binyamin Netanyahu lit the eighth and final Hannukah candle at the Kotel Saturday evening.
"In recent days, I have heard that the Palestinians are saying that the Western Wall is occupied territory," Netanyahu said.
"I want to tell them from the closet possible place to the miracle of the jar of oil: The Western Wall has been ours for 3,000 years, and it and the State of Israel will be ours forever."
A growing number of Israeli Jews see the Kotel as being relatively insignificant compared to the Temple Mount itself, and long for the rebuilding of the Jewish Temple that once stood there. The Kotel is a remainder of an external supporting wall of the Temple Mount. Activism calling for the return of Jewish worship to the Temple Mount has been growing stronger in recent years, but many rabbis remain opposed to this. They hold that the Mount is off bounds for Jews, according to Halakha, because of purity issues.Read the full story here.
