Alleged Canadian Via Rail Terrorist Jaser's Family Got Into Canada by Playing the "Joooos Ethnically Cleansed Us/Wacky Naqba" Card.HT Scaramouchee.(TorontoSun).
TORONTO - The Palestinian-born father of alleged Via Rail terror conspirator Raed Jaser detailed his family’s tumultuous journey from their homeland to the UAE and Germany where their home was pelted with Molotov cocktails, according to court documents.Mohamed Jaser, his wife and their three sons relocated to the United Arab Emirates where Raed was born in Abu-Dhabi in 1977 after the family left the Gaza Strip, according to federal court documents.
The court filing in the mid-1990s was part of Mohamed Jaser’s eventually-successful bid for refugee status in Canada.
Mohamed lived as a foreign worker in the UAE for more than two decades but his work permits were not renewed after the Gulf War.
The Gulf War of 1990 triggered a sudden expulsion of most Palestinians from the Gulf states “due to the stance taken by the Palestinian politicial leadership on the Gulf War,” wrote Mohamed Jaser, a Sunni Muslim who worked as a teacher, purchasing officer and at a “political” newspaper.
“Palestinians were blamed for the invasion of Kuwait and treated as traitors and supporters of Iraq. My children were dismissed from school and I was ordered to spy against my own people,” wrote Jaser.
“Being affiliated with a political paper, the authorities had attempted to turn me against my own people, however I refused and sought refuge in the West.”
Palestinians “became the target of abuse, random arrests, torture and beatings,” stated Jaser.
His family fled to Germany as convention refugee claimants in January 1991 but faced “perpetual harassment and danger” as the result of anti-immigrant sentiment, said Jaser.
A Molotov cocktail was launched at their home terrorizing the whole family inside during the era of the anti-refugee protests, wrote Jaser, who documented the frightening episode that compelled them to flee.
While he never abandoned his refugee claim in Germany, Jaser moved to Canada in March 1993.
In his Canadian refugee claim, Jaser said he was a permanent resident of the United Arab Emirates, Egypt and Israel and feared persecution in any of those three states. His claim was initially denied in 1994.
Mohamed Jaser, who was born in Jaffa City, Palestine, on Feb. 1, 1947, stated in his refugee claim in Canada that his “family was forced to leave their homeland” and moved to Gaza Strip when Israel was established in 1948.
“Being non-Jewish residents of Palestine, we were not subject to the Laws of Return (favouring Jewish settlement in Palestine) and had to leave during the time of Jewish migration into the area,” wrote Jaser.
“The Israeli army seized our land,”and the state “established a policy of ‘religious cleansing’ which promoted and forced the transfer of non-Jewish citizens and residents from the state of Israel,” wrote Jaser, who lived in Gaza until 1966.Hmmm.....I knew it the 'Juice are to blame, perhaps Justin Trudeau is right ...they only need a hug?Read the full story here.
