An indictment of 13 gendarmes, seeking life sentences for their role in the January interception of Syria-bound trucks that the National Intelligence Organization (MİT) said belonged to it, was accepted by a high criminal court in Adana on Thursday.

The 48-page indictment, prepared by Adana Deputy Chief Public Prosecutor Ali Doğan, was submitted to the Adana 7th High Criminal Court last week.
