MHP MP: Turkish consulate staff held as hostages by ISIS will be used as human shields in military ops. (TF).
Online news portal Radikal reports on a "shocking allegation" made by an opposition MP on the hostages taken by Islamic extremists ISIS in Iraq three months ago. According to the report, MHP MP Sinan Oğan stated in a parliamentary speech given yesterday that the Consul General was dismissed before ISIS stormed the Turkish Consulate in Mosul, northern Iraq, in early June.
Radikal reports Oğan as stating that he had information that the "Mosul Consul General was dismissed three days before the raid." Oğan added that he had information "that indicates Turkey lost track of diplomats", and that he also had "information that some of the diplomats are being used as human shields for ISIS leaders." (Liaison contact?)
According to Radikal, Oğan stated that the lives of the consular staff are more at risk with "each passing minute", and said:
Today Parliament goes on holiday. That means no information will be shared with the public regarding the diplomats until 14 October. Actually, you were never sharing information, but at least the opposition could mention it. If you took us seriously at the time, you would have been able to save them in the first 48 hours.
As Radikal reports, Oğan also emphasised that with new military operations being planned, ISIS will be trapped, and that it will be a process whereby ISIS leaders become the targets. He highlighted that the concern now is that diplomats will be used as human shields. Hmmm....Who ordered the staff to stay put?.....Whoever gave the order for the consulate staff to stay put in Mosul, made a master move, Tied so called NATO 'Ally' Turkey his hands to help, and provided a liaison group with ISIS. My guess it was Fidan, Erdogan isn't that sharp.
Failure to evacuate Turkish consulate in Mosul was reportedly attributed to PM Erdoğan after false assurances that staff won’t be harmed

Turkish foreign ministry’s emergency advisory that Mosul consulate must be evacuated was apparently overruled by senior political leadership
