Reminding that the first lady Emine Erdoğan held a lunch for representatives of nongovernmental organizations (NGOS) on Wednesday at the presidential palace, Candan said “Each one of the gold foil glasses on the table costs TL 1 thousand. It means the cost of one glass is equal to one worker’s salary.
A 4,000 square meter carpet was ordered for the palace. Each square meter of carpet cost TL 100. In total it cost TL 400,000. The cost of carpet is equal to a month's salary from 600 teachers.” Hmmm.....Proverbs 16:18-19 Pride goes before destruction, a haughty spirit before a fall.
