Video - Tunisian Scholar Mohamed Talbi: The Quran Does Not Prohibit Alcohol, Prostitution, or Homosexuality
Tunisian Islamic scholar Mohamed Talbi recently expounded upon his views of Islam in an interview on Tunisia's TV Channel 1. Talbi said that there are no Quranic verses prohibiting alcohol consumption, prostitution, or homosexuality, noting that "prevention is not prohibition." Talbi, who called himself a "Quranic Muslim," said that the claim that the Prophet Muhammad was illiterate was "the greatest farce of all." The interview aired on April 15, 2015.

Over 24,000 Iranian students confess they are "homosexual", prostitution flourishing in Iran. (TAZ).
The Iranian Parliament Research Center has carried out a study, according to which more than 24,000 Iranian high school students have confessed they are homosexual.Previously, Iran's Parliament ResearchCenter released results of a survey which was carried out in 2007 among 141,555 high school students. Some 17.5 percent of the students said they are homosexual and 74 percent said they had relationships with the opposite sex.
Some 8.2 percent of the students said they used to masturbate.
Iranian university professor and Deputy Minister of Youth and Sports Mahmoud Golzari has conducted a separate study, according to which 80 percent of girls in a number of high schools in Tehran had been in relationships with boys.
Golzari earlier said that 40 percent of students have been in relationship with the opposite sex as early as 14 years of age.
Relationship between girls and boys has tripled compared to 30 years ago, and they start a relationship while they are in guidance schools, according to the minister.
Meanwhile, experts quoted reports of theIranian Parliament Research Center as saying that prostitution among married women in Iran is higher compared to single girls. Eleven percent of men in Tehran are aware that their wives are prostitutes, the study said.
The study also highlighted a report published by the Neday-e Enghelab website saying that 2,000 street girls have been caught, 600 of them said prostitution is their job, and 1,400 women said they learned to be prostitutes via social networks.
Some 280 cases of rape were reported between March 21 and July 22, 2009.
Another study was carried out among women of 15-35 years of age. Some 12.5 percent of them said they are silent when parts of their bodies are touched.
Also, 78.9 percent of girls who were caught over a one-month period due to non-observation of Islamic veil were below 15 years of age.
The Iranian Parliament Research Center has suggested that temporary marriage should be promoted in the society. Hmmm.....Must be a Zionist plot :)

"Femen Is Pornography" Say Facebook, closes down Femen pages.
![]() |
FEMEN Topless Protesters Jump On Tunisian PM Ali Larayedh's Car In Brussels |
The women's movement Femen informs the public of the involuntary termination of its major accounts on Facebook.Yesterday, Facebook blocked Femen's main page Femen. A day earlier, they had terminated the account for our French Femen subsidiary. In total, these pages were liked by about 170,000 people. Until today, the network of Femen's pages had been one of the biggest women's communities on Facebook and was the main source of news about the activities of the movement.
The formal reason for the closure of the platforms is preposterous - they are accusing us of spreading pornography and promoting prostitution.
This fact is a logical continuation of the internet war waged against Femen from a host of different reactive groups: the Nazis from European and post-Soviet dictatorships to Islamic fundamentalists.
The Femen pages on Facebook were one of the main information platforms for the campaign for the release of political prisoners, in particular activists from Tunisian prisons.
The Femen movement has appealed the closing of the pages of Facebook and we've asked them to reverse their decision as soon as possible to return the women's revolution its main mouthpiece! Zuckerberg! Femen is not pornography!Hmmmm......'Also sprach Femen'.Read the full story here.

U.S. Secret Service Visited Strip Club in Moscow .
U.S. Secret Service Visited Strip Club in Moscow.(RN).U.S. Secret Service agents visited a downtown Moscow nightclub known for raucous parties in 2000, ahead of a state visit to Russia by then-President Bill Clinton, the Wall Street Journal reported on Thursday, citing an informed source. Secret Service staff and White House advance staff preparing for Clinton's state visit to Russia attended events at the Hungry Duck nightclub, the Wall Street Journal said. A Clinton spokesman declined to comment on the matter. The Hungry Duck, which opened in the mid-1990s in the center of Moscow, featured performances by strippers and patrons, the newspaper said. It was set up by a Canadian, Doug Steele, together with several partners from Georgia. They sold their interest in 1998 following a dispute with a number of influential Russian officials. The nightclub closed down for good in 2009. As many as 920 women supposedly once took part in a mass striptease at the Hungry Duck. Reports that Secret Service and White House personnel visited the nightclub follow revelations that Secret Service members visited prostitutes in Colombia in April during President Obama's visit. Twelve Secret Service agents, who were supposed to ensure the safety of the American leader during his visit to Colombia for a diplomatic summit, as well as twelve military members of the delegation, were suspended from their duties and sent home for “inappropriate behavior.” The agents allegedly visited a strip club there and some brought prostitutes back to their hotel rooms, the newspaper said.Hmmmm......."Protection covered now by Obamacare".Read the full story here.

Did you hear the one of the hooker and the Secret Service man?
Did you hear the one of the hooker and the Secret Service man?(NYDN).The dozen Secret Service agents sent home after a prostitution scandal in Colombia were busted after at least one of them refused to pay one of the hookers, sources said. The scandal — a black eye for the United States’ reputation abroad — was revealed Friday just hours before President Obama arrived in Cartagena for the Summit of the Americas.
The 12 agents were part of an advance team assigned to secure a local hotel before the summit began, yet their attention apparently turned to taking advantage of Colombia’s policy of legal prostitution.Five American service members were also accused of misconduct stemming from the scandalous incident at the hotel, according to the U.S. military. “They had arranged to have a bunch of prostitutes come by and one of the agents refused to pay a prostitute,” said author Ronald Kessler, one of the leading experts on the Secret Service. “Yes, doubly good judgment there.” Kessler, who was briefed on the investigation by his sources within the agency, told the Daily News Saturday that the spurned hooker told police about the lack of payment. The 12 agents were immediately recalled to Washington. “Their careers are over,” said Kessler. “Number one, it is against basic ethics to go to a prostitute,” he continued. “Number two, it is incredibly embarrassing to the White House.” “And number three,” he continued. “It could leave them open to blackmail and a possible assassination attempt.”
Obama still has “full confidence” in the Secret Service, according to White House spokesman Jay Carney, who declared late Saturday that the incident “has been more of a distraction for the press” than the President. Kessler said two of the agents were supervisors who attempted to cover up the mortifying incident.Details of the incident remain murky, but U.S. officials believe one agent took a woman back to his room Wednesday night and threw her out in a dispute over money.
The woman caused a commotion in the hallway, getting the attention of local cops and other Secret Service agents, a senior official told The New York Times. During the initial investigation, it emerged that other agents also had women in their rooms. Rep. Peter King (R-LI), the head of the House Homeland Security committee, said they were all “presumed” to be prostitutes. Though it was known if all 12 member of the Secret Service team are suspected of wrongdoing, they were all recalled as part of the investigation. Several of the agents are married, according to reports. The President, who had a full day of summit events Saturday, has not addressed the Secret Service scandal. He is not staying at the Hotel Caribe. The Secret Service did not elaborate on the allegations Saturday. The night before, the agency — which is charged with protecting the President — simply confirmed that the officers were pulled back to Washington.Hmmmmm......."Let's Move together"?Read the full story here.More here.
Update: Military: Five U.S. service members in Colombia may have been involved in inappropriate conduct.(Pol).Five members of the U.S. military stationed in Colombia violated curfew and may have been involved in inappropriate conduct at the same hotel as the 12 Secret Service agents involved in the unfolding prostitution scandal, the United States Southern Command announced Saturday. USSOUTHCOM commander Gen. Douglas Fraser said that he is "disappointed by the entire incident and that this behavior is not in keeping with the professional standards expected of members of the United States military."Hmmmm.....Sounds more and more like a 'Group Activity' if you ask me.:)

Canada - Ontario Appeal Court nixes brothel ban "prostitutes should be allowed to work safely indoors".
Canada - Ontario Appeal Court nixes brothel ban "prostitutes should be allowed to work safely indoors".(Yahoo).TORONTO - A court ruling striking down the ban on brothels is being hailed as a new era for sex-trade workers in Canada.
Lawyer Alan Young says today's decision from the Ontario Court of Appeal means prostitutes are no longer second-class citizens who should "just be quiet about their plight."
Young, who launched the challenge on behalf of sex-trade workers, says he assumes the Crown will appeal in a "knee-jerk" response. In its ruling, Ontario's top court says the ban on brothels puts prostitutes in danger and they should be allowed to work safely indoors. However, it has given the government one year to rewrite the law if it chooses to.At the same time, the Appeal Court says concerns about the nuisance created by street prostitution is real.So it has upheld the ban on soliciting for the purposes of selling sex. When it comes to living on the avails of prostitution, the court says the law can be reworded to specifically exclude the exploitation of prostitutes.Read the full story here.
