"All Quiet at the Turkish front' - How much can we trust our Sometimes NATO 'Ally' Turkey?
The Turkish Armed Forces (TSK) is drawing up plans for a possible buffer zone along the border inside northern Syria that could be established with the contribution of U.S.-led coalition forces.
“The TSK is working on plans and will present them to us, and we will decide if it is necessary,” President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan was quoted as saying.
In recent talks with U.S. officials, Ankara demanded a buffer zone in northern Syria in the event of a military campaign of air strikes in the country against jihadists that could precipitate a massive influx of refugees into Turkish territory.
Already now our 'Allies' the Turks claim that the "real fear" for Turkish authorities is that of sleeper cells taking action.
Özay reports that Turkey has begun an extensive investigation into the organisation after recent developments. However, he writes, members of sleeper cells "cannot be detected" because of the Syrian *refugees in Turkey, making it difficult to determine who is a genuine refugee and who is a cell member.
Özay notes that the difficulty lies in that the cell members are inactive, and writes that "it is stated that this is one of the biggest security risks for Turkey."
If they can't detect now ISIS fighters from genuine refugees what makes the US think that our 'ally' will be able now?
Hmmmm......."sleeper cells cannot be detected because of the Syrian *refugees in Turkey.".....Obama 'Admin' will admit thousands of *refugees currently in Turkey into the US as of next year.

Related: Featured on the front page as "ISIS revolt from a nurse", opposition daily Taraf publishes extracts today from a letter written by a Turkish nurse who is "highly embarrassed" to be treating jihadists wounded from fighting in Syria.
Noted correspondent Hüseyin Özay reports that the letter, which was sent to Parliament and "national police units", was written by a nurse who has been working in a private hospital in Mersin, on the Mediterranean coast of southern Turkey, "for years".
According to the article, the nurse — referred to only as "E.G." — writes:
An ISIS commander named Muhammet Ali R. stayed in Room 323 and was treated in our hospital on 7 August. [His] guards were on security duty around the hospital at the same time. Many ISIS commanders and soldiers like this man have been treated in our hospital and went back to war once their treatment was completed.
Also......American military experts "astonished" by the presence of Turkish state regulation ammunition in the hands of the ISIS extremist fighters. Hmmm....NATO 'Ally' ....yeah whatevah.
