Report: ISIL using ammunition produced by 'Sometimes' NATO Turkey.

Report: ISIL using ammunition produced by 'Sometimes' NATO Turkey. (TZ).

Terrorist Islamic State in Iraq and the Levant (ISIL) militants fighting against Kurdish forces in Iraq have been using ammunition marked as coming from the Turkish Mechanical and Chemical Industry Corporation (MKE), according to the Taraf daily.

Taraf reported on Tuesday that the MKE-marked ammunition was found out after a recent fight between the ISIL militants and the Kurdish forces in Arbil, the capital of the Kurdistan Regional Government (KRG) in Iraq.

According to the report, the US experts who examined the ammunition were surprised to see the MKE mark on the ISIL ammunition. Following this discovery, US officials have begun to investigate how this ammunition ended up in the hands of ISIL militants.

The daily also claimed that the MKE-marked ammunition has caused problems for Turkey on international platforms such as at last week's NATO summit in Wales and that Turkey was forced to defend its activities.

Furthermore, many foreign officials and Western media have started to voice concerns over Turkey's alleged support of al-Qaeda splinter group ISIL and the al-Nusra Front. According to some press reports, Turkey allegedly sent a number of trucks carrying aid and possibly military equipment to the radical groups.

According to Turkish Aydinlik daily, ISIS has set up a number of field hospitals in areas under its control in eastern Syrian city of Al-Riqqa and western Iraq is using camouflage to hide them from aerial surveillance.

Many ISIS former patients whom were treated in those field hospitals and later imprisoned by Iraqi army have confirmed the information indicating the existence of Turkish medical teams in ISIS controlled areas, reported Aydinlik newspaper.

A patient, who spoke on condition of anonymity, stated that there are many Turkish doctors and nurses are serving in ISIS hospitals. Meanwhile many Turkish lawmakers accuse the Turkish administration of providing assistance to ISIS in its struggle against the Syrian government of President Assad.

Earlier critics of Turkish government accused AKP administration of then Prime Minister Erdoghan of allowing ISIS militants to find safe havens inside Turkish territories and also there were reports revealing stories about injured ISIS members receiving free medical treatments in in Hatay State Hospital. Hmmmm.....Lets stop the PC and call out Turkey for what is is a 'State sponsor of Terrorism'. They put sanctions on Russia for such behaviour so why not on Islamist Turkey? Read the full story here.
